Final Harvest 17. This is Silverfields. Deathstar on the next page. 160 total days. 107 days of flower. 45 days during harvest. 17 total harvests. This is what I refer to as my long run. I prefer this when timing allows. As always, to each their own. When you read this, my 40’ RV will be on the road and on a 3 year mission to travel the country. I won’t cross any state lines with marijuana, but I will spend most of my time in states where recreational marijuana is legal. Spending my dollars there, mostly. Peace out, as with legalization on the horizon, this may be my final grow, as traveling is on my agenda.

Day 102 of flower. Lights bumped up from 600W to 1000W to make the final push.

Harvest 11. The reason for the thread. Silverfields. I have a female friend who just recently starting smoking bc she is spending time with me. She went from smoking none to smoking like she needs it to breathe. This doesn’t have the uplifting effect for her. She tapped out at half a joint and went to sleep. I finished the rest. Uplifting for me. All I need is to roll another one.

There are 2 green phenos of the DSR. This is the one that has the higher number of leaves in bud than the other and grows with bigger girth.

Another beauty from harvest 8.
-
Another good one from harvest 8.

Harvest 14 Worth pointing out again. The stems are the handles. Buds never get touched until they get broken up to smoke. All that goodness stays where it should, on the buds.

Jumped ahead to harvest 7. This is such a beautiful bud. I pulled it out for a special guest. The guest is the one that made the beautiful bud comment. Smells of blood Orange to my guest. Smells of lemon pepper spice to me. Very heavy to one of the guests. The other guest felt very focused from it, as did I. It broke up so hugely . I rolled a massive joint from this. It was a hell of a wind chamber. Small tokes only. Enjoy. This is Silverfields Femenized. I also got my first seed. A beautiful Silverfields S1. Dark gray. Very mature.

Well I should give you the back story on this method. My father and I grew outside for decades. We would grow several patches so all the eggs weren’t in the same basket. Whenever we grew in corn fields it would be a cat and mouse game of figuring out when the first frost would come. When the farmer would take the corn, when the marijuana was ready and when/if the cops or thieves would get it. What we discovered was when we went and got whole plants we would see the corn still standing in a week. We thought some weed was better than none. Then we would be like, we should have left what wasn’t ready, because takin the premature just doesn’t get it, it would never be up to potency or weight. So we decided to take what was ready. Start at the end of every limb and cut back only where it is ready. Leave the rest of the limb to mature. It paid off in spades. Eventually we would have to take it as Mother Nature or man would ultimately close in. But the potency and yield was forever in our favor with this method. I do this indoors as my vacation schedule allows. It keeps me in the funnest part the longest. Harvest and smoking fresh!!!

Not a good picture because of light intensity. But here is what is left. Almost done with the top scrog. Day 89 of flower.

Harvest #12

The last of harvest #5 is a super filthy looking green pheno cola. It is crispy on the outside and super moist and sticky on the inside. Breaks up with the twist of the fingers and thumb. Smell is amazing when the outside cracks open. Smells like WD40.
