Nothing too fancy here. I use my own mixture, 5 parts walmart soil, 1 part vermiculite, 1 part perlite, 1 part cow manure, and 1 part worm castings. -NoX

Very nice thread, good technique,i do everything u do almost word per word except instead of the pit-pots i use 100% vermiculite, nice and airy for them to grow a nice root ball. Anyways, 2 thumbs up on the post, keep up with the good advice. -NoX Carpe Nox - Seize the Night

do you find that your two grow areas have a problem with light entering the dark area because of the holes u made for ventilation? How do u keep the light out of the dark side when you are in 12/12 during opposite hours? -NoX Carpe Nox - Seize the Night

I agree on making a new forum with its own FAQ's but i also believe that if we offer the old OG FAQ for reference for newbies to growing that they are more likely to join this forum compared to other forums with more information already readily available for them to get growing. This site has great potential no doubt about it but I believe that if we offer a place for people to read over FAQ's that have already been fine tuned for several years from the old overgrow site that not only will there be information here for people to read and get started already until we have a new FAQ here made from posts and perhaps a new section for the sole purpose of creating a new FAQ that it will also greatly improve the number of people joining each day. It can be a temporary solution since this site lacks all the information for people to get started on a grow right away which alot of people are looking for. I think this should be thought about in all seriousness. Perhaps a vote from current members to see what everyone thinks of the idea. Please consider this. -Nox

just a suggestion but i think opengrow.com needs to be forwarded to opengrow.com/forum so the main page goes directly to the forum or perhaps have a small flash intro on it which directs it to the forum.

I have the entire FAQ from overgrow saved on my PC, as well as most of the strainguide and the entire sickplant guide as well. Who should I send it to if you are interested in starting info for this site based on old overgrow info.
