  1. Hard to tell by the picture...Did the one in the front get light burn from the stretch? (first pic in post 31) You can/should try to supercrop the 3 or 4 big strechers you have going. It's not difficult and seems to work well for me. As full as your tent is though, it may not work for you because they"ll lay over on the other plants. What I do when this happens is I'll simply raise the level of the other pots....I like to flip a pot upside down and then set the pot with the short plants on top of them thus rasing the heigth so your canapy is more even. All in all, looking good. Keep it up. peace...
  2. I was being sarcastic guys....simply trying to inject some humor. If I was a fan of smiley faces I would have added one after my post to convey the sarcasm. Not drawing a comparison to anyone else or trying to say "we" do it bigger in the States. I guess I was simply trying to show how out of control the Mexican drug cartels are in Califonia. Hell when I was in Humboldt County in 2010, they busted over 400,000 plants in 2 weeks just in the Mendicino national forest. That's when I first understood how bad it was after discussing it with a few locals! Crazy shit their doing up there!! peace and don't read in to it...
  3. California sees your 3,000 plants and raises you 327,000 more..... http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/americas/07/23/us.marijuana.bust/index.html
  4. I've never run and OG but I recently got an ounce of a Colorado stain called Bruce Banner from a guy in Denver. Supposed to be a cross between OG and Strawberry Cough. (some say fort collins cough) And it was damn fine. A green stain that was more certainly more sativa than indica. Anyway, I picked out 48 developed seeds. I was a bit sceptical but popped 2 of them. Both were female and neither one showed any sing of hermi. I took them just over 9 weeks and did not save a cutting since I didn't expect much. Holy shit is it killer weed. By far the most lemon smelling/tasting I have ever had and so easy to grow not to mention STRONG. I have a couple more going now. Having never tried OG I had no point of reference. I guess I'm just wondering if any of you have heard of Bruce Banner before or if you could give any insight to the lemon profile from OG. I've had SC before but it wasn't the best quality therefore it didn't leave any sore of impression. Also Joker, the advice from your wife is stellar. I always try to be "present" but it's hard to do sometimes. Especially with work and family related stresses. Fire up a bowl and it can be even harder. peace...
  5. I just fininshed a run with both strains. My Choco Berry really streched out. It was more sativa looking in terms of the fan leaves being very long and narrow. I'd swear it kept streching until the 5th week. Very branchy as well. Went 12 total. My choc rain can get tall as well but the fan leaves are much bigger and fatter/wider. They both had a similar smell while growing. I had 2 phenos of the CR and kept the larger producer. (shocker right) I run a 600 watt MH the entire flower cycle and use a Sunshine #4 in 3 gl pots and I ammend the mix with other goodies. I go all organic with sannies tabs and bacto bloom. ...and I have no idea why I just explained that? I guess my point is, I would say they are choco berrys. peace... damn fine looking dog! Looks like my first lab that I got when she was 7 weeks old and lived to be 17 years. Best dog in the world.
  6. Hope you get some posted....I'd love to see a picture of an outdoor plant only 4-5 ft tall and 8-10 ft wide!!! Had to be crazy looking. peace...
  7. Ozark, how's your outdoor looking this year with Sannies gear? If I recall correclty, you had some big plans? peace...
  8. Damn straight Joker....I can't beleive the stuff I've seen/read on other forums. 420 mag being the forum I've spent the most time on before this one. The death of common sense is having a serious effect on culture in general. That being said, OG seems to have the most common sense on the web...at least in canna terms. peace...
  9. Good stuff Fuzz. The Karma wheel must have been rolling your way August 2nd! You help a friend in need and Karma helps you.... peace...
  10. Love how you kept it horizontal!!! My wheels have been turning since I clicked on your link last week. I can't do this in my yard, but I know some people who can....and you had better believe I'm going to share this with them. peace...
  11. Right on eveyone...Thanks! @OU812, great link. @rev and HC, I could have guessed you guys would be on the same page. I even think my wife has a splatter screen. I've done some searching and come up with some great options. Some expensive, some not. I thought this one was intersting also. Not expensive and I'm sure there is a killer use for it in our "hobby" http://stores.aquaculturenurseryfarms.com/-strse-SIEVES/Categories.bok They are aquatic plankton/shrimp brine sieves. They go all the way down to 53 micron and are not that expensive. I would guess they would be hard to scrape out if the diameter is only 4'....some were 6' though. I hope some of you will find this stuff as usefull as I did. Any more ideas, please keep them coming. peace...
  12. Thanks hiwatt...I wondered about the plant material and moisture. Has to be an issue if not dried quickly and properly. Maybe the freezer would help? I found this site. It converts the measurments of sieves to microns. If you scroll down you will see that a No 200 sieve size = 74 micron. A No 400 sieve = 37 microns. http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/chemistry/stockroom-reagents/learning-center/technical-library/particle-size-conversion.html I thought it was a helpful conversion chart. Then I found this site and it sells a N0 200 sieve (74 micron) test sieve that fits over a 5 gallon bucket. Scorll down towards the bottom of the page. Just before the squeegee thing. I couldn't help but think of how easy it would be to strain over this sieve right in to the bucket. Then scrape up the trichomes left in the sieve. http://www.bigceramicstore.com/Supplies/Sieves.htm I also found this...It's also No 200 sieve (74 micron) More expensive and not as practical as the one about for $25. http://www.benmeadows.com/8-diatesting-sieve-brass-framestainless-steel-wire-cloth--200-sieve-designation-75m-mesh_s_220799/?srccode=cii_9324560&cpncode=30-68779605-2&CID=9OPNTG Anyone ever use somthing like these? peace...
  13. OG'ers, I'm looking for an alternative to bubble bags. My local grow shop has them, but they have also been in the news paper this summer for negative reasons. Seems the LEO have been staking them out and then following home customers with large purchases. At least 2 different times this has been reported on in the news paper. One of the grows had 144 plants. I'm guessing those dudes are in trouble. (non mmj state) So, I don't want to go there and I really don't want to order them off of the internet and have to explain to the wife...if ya know what i mean? I've read up on making Gumby hash/gravity method and I want to give it a try. I've made QWISO a couple of times with good results..Just not crazy about using the isopryl. (i know I don't need a sieve for gumby) I just like to mess around and expierment....At any rate, I'm trying to find alternatives. Lot's of ideas out there but how do I know the micron size? I don't want to go through the hastle only to have a micron size that allows to many tricohomes to pass. Any good ideas out there? peace...
  14. Thanks Joker. I appreciate all of the info. Good karma your way. peace...
  15. Holy crap Lat......Just amazing. You'll enjoy the Choco Berry from e$ko. I grew mine in a 7 foot tent and had to top her then bend and tie her up....And she was still to lanky for me. I ended up burning the top of her and had only about 2 oz's of good bud, but it was impressive stuff. Very sativa. I hope the color comes back to your KF. My purple pheno was an early girl. I was expecting 11-12 weeks and she was done in 10 and closer to 9 when I grew out clones. Anyways, thanks for sharing. I love seeing large outside plants. I guess I like being envious? peace...
