  1. Well, things aren't great but I kinda expected that. I want to thank all of you again for your kind words and encouragement. I think I'll be laying low for awhile, I have a lot to think about.
  2. Hi Dequelo, nice to see you Mav told me you were back. I hope all is well with you. El Tiberon I had to look up " Entiende usted? " which is kinda ironic. And yes, I understand what you are saying. I'm thinking that it won't be that bad, or they would have kept me, right? I imagine there will be surgery and probably some chemo, but I'm not that old (43) and relatively healthy after about 6 years of unrelated surgeries (5 in all). I have a habit of tumors, but this is the first malignant one. My sister wants me to move with her so I can help with her ebay business and make some money during all this, so I'm thinking about it. Depends on how often I will have appointments because it's about a 4 hour drive. I don't know, I'm just kinda in limbo I guess. I guess it's weird sharing all this with ppl I've never really met, but I feel like our shared passion has made us friends. Anyway, thanks again.
  3. I have an appointment with an oncologist this Weds and should know everything then. So sorry to hear what you guys have been through personally. I feel like some kind of imposter or something... I feel fine. No, not really fine, just numb. My son is trying to get me some edibles, never tried them before so it should be interesting. I wish you all well and thanks.
  4. It's weird because I don't feel any different than I did yesterday, but now I know and things will never be the same. I just want to run away to the mountains, or the ocean, some place quiet and beautiful. Appreciate you guys, thanks.
  5. I've been reading up on stuff, I am big on research. This article was very interesting so I thought I would share. Now I just need a vaporizer and some weed, lol. Doc gave me scrip for xanex and it's got me pretty loopy. I guess they just want you to zone out or sleep or something but I can't, not yet anyways. Can't cry anymore I've run dry. I am thankfull for your replies and well wishes, it really helps. My dad mentioned my marijuana smoking so I sent him this article too. I know he didn't really mean anything by it, people say shitty things when they are scared, but I sent it anyway. Wish I lived in CA. Thanks for listening. Marijuana And Lung Cancer Posted on 08/30/2011 in Medical Marijuana Patient Stories While logic would seem to prove that smoking anything would be bad for your lungs, most people are surprised to hear the truth about smoking marijuana. That said, we do recommend that the best way to medicate is by using a vaporizer. But recent research has shown that there is absolutely no connection between cancer and smoking marijuana. A 2006 study conducted by the University of California at Los Angeles and funded by the National Institutes of Health's National Institute on Drug Abuse unexpectedly concluded that smoking marijuana, even regularly and heavily, does not lead to lung cancer. The study was lead by Donald Tashkin, a pulmonologist who has studied marijuana for 30 years, who was surprised by the results. The study involved 1,200 people in Los Angeles who had lung, neck or head cancer and an additional 1,040 people without cancer. They were all questioned about their use of marijuana, tobacco and alcohol throughout their lives. The study concluded that even the very heavy marijuana smokers showed no increased incidence of lung, neck or head cancer. What’s more, a 2007 Harvard study found that marijuana can actually help fight cancer. THC, one of the most active ingredients in marijuana, cuts tumor growth in common lung cancer in half and significantly reduces the ability of the cancer to spread, according to researchers at Harvard University who tested the chemical in both lab and mouse studies. Although marijuana smoke contains twice the level of carcinogens as tobacco smoke, the THC in marijuana prevents these carcinogens from causing cancer—while the nicotine in cigarette smoke promotes the development of cancer. According to Dr. Robert Melamede of the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, nicotine activates a body enzyme that converts certain chemicals in both tobacco and marijuana smoke into cancer-promoting form. In contrast, studies in mice suggest that THC blocks this enzyme activity. However, according to a 2009 study in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, the risk for lung disease is increased when a cigarette smoker also smokes pot. Bottom line: Do not smoke cigarettes. Ever.
  6. Thanks guys, i really appreciate it. Wish I could start a grow, but I live at my moms and wouldn't put her in jeopardy. Had plans to get my own place next month but now that's not gonna happen. This just sucks, sucks, sucks.
  7. My family is here but honestly I wish they weren't.
  8. I'm shaking while writing this so bear with me. A couple months ago I went to the hospital for another bout of bronchitis and when they did a chest xray they found a growth in my lung. They did a biopsy several days later and I got the results today and it's cancer. I'm freaking out, don't even have insurance or anything. I have an appointment next week and will know more then, it's just so surreal. So now I'm going through nicotine withdrawl, which sucks, and trying to figure out what to do next. I mean, what am I supposed to do?
  9. Smoking cigarettes has just ruined my life. It's not worth it, please stop if you can. I'm so sorry I ever started but it's too late now. Heed my warning, you don't want this.
  10. Beautiful!! Love the color and I imagine the smell is incredible... yummy
  11. Took me a minute to get that... lol.
  12. Super cool setup and stickin' it to the man.... love it!
  13. Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. I hope everything goes well for you, good thoughts coming your way.

I always liked this one. It's Trainwreck, I asked my son to put his hand up for size reference and of course he had to be a smartass.
  15. I was actually married to a guy for 10 yrs who was ok with it at first, then turned into a marijuana nazi. Let's just say I did a LOT of laundry in the garage during that time.
