    REBOOT

What's up, OG? Gonna kick off the summer with a new thread and a lot of lessons learned. This is going to be a follow up to the 1st Legal Grow which was basically just an attempt to share with others the benefits of standing up for your rights and playing by the rules. No animals were harmed in the making of that thread... First things first - All of the gear from the shop has been transplanted
  2. It has to start somewhere.... Before I dive into my antics underway, here are a few bud shots from my last grow. Personally I like seeing bud shots when I open OG MzDrzz Took another run with this clone great structure on the plant and phenomenal flowers.some of the densest foxtails I have encountered. From Sinister Seeds Cut at 70/71 days Dried and pre cure….. KA Kush (she had PM come back again, she is on her last run now..) Also Sinister Also ran me some Dynasty Seeds Caramel Candy Kush: Clipped around 70-74 days. look @ the frost on the undercarriage here…. And also had a nice run of some E$cob@r Chocolate Rain, still loving on this plant, she gets some hard foxtails too. Had some changes in real life, I moved into a 95% work from home role when my company closed our local office. This afforded me the opportunity of grabbing some office supplies and as part of those activities secured a couple more cabinets. As such, about a month ago I converted one, so now I have thing 1 and thing 2, Needless to say should be extra productive as I have increased my space. I am going to stagger them and hopefully get to the point of harvest every 4-6 weeks. So here are some basics for the run, I will have two setups: Thing 1 - the original cab. Same setup as usual, 400 W digital ballast in a vented hood, hydro system, 12 spots. I am running a new nute regimen this round from mbferts. They have their own powdered food and since they have been great on other merch, figured I would give this a spin, especially since my local hydro guy decided to flip the script and drop my jungle juice, so check in on this journal if you have looked into their nutes, I’ll be using them and will share and report results. I also implemented a Solistek MH 6K, for veg in Thing 1, plants are responding well, and definitely seeing some nice growth. This cab has been in Veg now for just about 3 weeks. Thing 1 Lineup: (4) Chucky Bride (3) Sugar Punch (2) MzDrzz (Ms U x Drizz) (1) Chocolate Rain (1) KO Kushx(CJxGM) (1) Lemon thai Thing 1 Thing 2 - new cab, been in bloom for about 3.5 weeks, Running a 400W Magnetic ballast bare bulb setup, hortilux, inspired by Indi, I have to give this method a try. Also changed things up and I am running a organic soil mix, based mainly around the Rev’s formula, but I don’t have feather meal and few other ingredients (oyster shells, alfalfa husks and a couple other). I’ll post a list of whats in here in a bit, once I pull that up. I am excited about the christening run for this voyager, she is getting some of my older Mom’s and some other plants I had that just needed to get going. Some of the Mom’s had PM a cycle ago, and PM came back to visibly show itself around week 4 in the last flower run, I am done with the struggle and sending them for final bloom. Thing 2 is planned to be about 4 weeks ahead of thing 1 in general, this should afford me with more turns. Her current lineup: (3) KA Kush (2) KO Kush (4) Caramel Candy Kush (1) Chuck Bride (1) MzDrzz (Ms Uni x Drizz) (3) Raining Caramel Kush ((CRxKOK)xCCK) (1) (CRxKO Kush)x Blue Chem (2) DeathStar x (Huck/Silverfield/Choco Rain?) ((2) diff pheno) Overall in here things are looking great. Soil seems to be holding its own and allowing me with some more flexibility, as soil affords me some freedom to move things around that I just don’t get with Hydro. Thing 2 KA Kush MzDrzz Overview of box Week 2: Week 3: Death Star x Huck Kush (these were test clones for determining sex, I have two females!! KO Kush Brain Rain x Blue Chem (Personal Cross I made (Brain Rain (Chocolate Rain x KO Kush)), never ran before, she’s a lady!) Caramel Candy Kush I will try to post again soon to catch you up on where this is at soon, I am a week behind on pics. thanks for looking and feel free to comment and what not, it's that dialog that helps keep these threads moving. enjoy
  3. My next, and possibly last grow for a while, began about a week ago. Here's the gang: 18 seeds sprouted into something that will probably become an adult plant. Everyone is familiar with Chucky's Bride and Huck Kush, or has at least seen grow reports. Lemon Cindy is Smilestyle's Lemon Thai x C99. Caramel Drizzle is the name I applied to Sinister's cross of two of Prof P's creations, Caramel Cough x Drizella (pre-2013 Drizella!). There are three Caramel Drizzles and 5 each of the other crosses. They will be vegged until there's about a week left in January, then flipped. Then, I'm running off on a business trip for 11 days. Then... mystery! I'll set up the ol' Blumats, I guess, and send them good thoughts from halfway around the world. The larger plants are cuts from my near-ending grow, some of which will be present in this upcoming grow, as well. I OWE Jalisco Jaze another attempt, after the weird nutrient/pH/evil soil organism fuck up during my closing grow. One of the two will have a couple of cuts in the grow. My favorite Bourbon Street (Juicy Fruit Gum with delicate sweaty underarm notes) is in there for sure. It's one of the better depression-killers I've smoked recently. Hammerhead will likely go in, but it's going to depend on the smoke test. Blue Hawaiian will probably NOT go in, because it takes too long in flower. Love Potion 1 x C99 will probably go in, partly so I can cross it again, but partly because it has a remarkably clear buzz. Bourbon Street happens to have an uplifting, let's party and not think too hard kind of buzz, and it's pretty strong. While buzzed on that, I took a couple of hits of the LP1 x C99, and it actually WIPED AWAY the hazy-headed feeling of the Bourbon Street, and gave tremendous clarity. I got a friend high yesterday, who hasn't gotten high in MONTHS, and he experienced the same thing. I had him blasted out of his gourd on Bourbon Street, then filled a bowl with the LP1 x C99. He also used the term "clear headed" in describing it. I don't know if this stuff is for me, but it's unusual, and I might want it in my arsenal. I'm thinking it should be crossed with Lemon Cindy and Huck Kush, see what comes of that. The scent is almost pure chemical. It seems like it would be harsh smoking, but it's smooth as can be. Anyway, there will be more in the coming weeks on this cross. I've got a great name for it if I decide to keep growing it. It's the end of the line for my Killer Indica. I decided I didn't like it enough and I'm betting a Huck Kush will volunteer to replace her. Oh, my old Pineapple Fields cut is going back in for a third appearance. Her Greasiness has earned a place in every flowering session for the foreseeable future.
  4. Hi everyone, Welcome to ROUND 2. I wanted to make a new thread to showcase new genetics from Esko & Sannie and my first experience with Hempy buckets. Round 2 is all about looking for some keepers. I'm hoping to pick 3 keepers from 10-12 females. Due to the summer heat, I'm just taking it easy, vegging under fluos until mid September. I'll run a perpetual setup and harvest every 2 weeks for 2-3 months straight. By the new year, I want to fill the entire tent with clones from 2 keepers and just do 1 big SCROG. The new genetics: After 5.5 days in spongepots, they were ready to be transplanted x5 Holy Princess x5 Chucky's Bride x5 Jackberry F4 x2 Esko Blueberry #3 x1 Riri Sour Diesel X Esko BlueBerry Holy Princess Chucky's Bride Jackberry F4 Blueberry #3 Riri SourDiesel X Esko Blueberry Alright, that's it for now, just wanted to get the thread started I will update with the plants that have been in veg and reveg when I get home tonight. This round is going to be a blast...
  5. Before we get started, here is some pron from Chuky's Bride my last run of clones. CLOSE UP Such a beautiful flower, don;t think I can ever thank Esc0b@r enough for bringing us this.... Anyways, onto the new grow. Grow Setup: Cabinet - overall cabinet height 42” x 34"w x 24" l, with grow space of around 18-24” between light and top of res. Hydroponics, “superponic” arrangement, DWC, with some drip and airstones in the res. 12 site SCROG net for stretch management. 400W digital ballast with a Red UFO LED for supplemental that cycles in 2 hour on/off cycles during flower light phase Strains: Clones: Chucky’s Bride – 2 phenos + a Male Chocolate Rain KO Kush regular seedlings (3) Caramel Candy Kush (1) KO Kush F4 M x Chocolate Rain (pheno b.) - (still trying to decide what I would call it - thinking Fists of fury (raining KO) | KORain) hoping this is carried some of indica of the KO and can make it a KO leaner, wife finds the KO to be great for pain, and I like the rush from the rain, time will tell) Planning to do some breeding this round with the water droplet technique I read about here. Environment/Water/Nutes: Water rests for at least 24 hours with airstones applies, comes out of the tap with (avg: ec: 0.2 / 0.1ppt / 6.68 – 7.1 ph), I add some ph down to get me in the 5.6 – 6.0 range. Nutes: Jungle Juice (bloom / micro) – 1st try at running lucas Diamond nectar Cal Mag Plus Roots Excellurator Additives planned: Crystal Burst Snow Storm Ultra Veg Reviews on growth, welcome input from anyone that has had these as to phenotypes: CCK1- Plant is bushy and in veg seems to have more sativa influence when compared with others. Has pleasant odor, cannot put a name to the smell, not skunky, fruity/woody. Female verified, so she will be kept. Topped at 5node and bushed out wildly. Taking over left hand front side of chamber. I believe this to be a Ms. Univ leaning due to bushiness and leaf structure CCK2 – Plant was not developed as long in system, as I had to make room for it. So this one is a bit smaller, but has strong tendencies that look very similar to plant 1 in structure and growth pattern. Aroma is similar to CCK1. Topped at 4th node. Verified Male. I believe this to be a Ms. Univ leaning due to bushiness and leaf structure. CCK3 – Plant grew out exact same time as CCK1 but was smaller in size, but not stature. Same amount of nodes, just grew much closer together. Plant is significantly more compact with very tight internode spacing on branches, even after topped. Leaves on this plant are the most broad when compared with other two CCK. I believe it is Bubba leaning, due to more compact stature of plant and broader leaves compared with others. Not realizing same stretch as CCK1. Also a Female! 2 out of 3 CCK female, great ratio and I couldn’t have planned that any better. - Anyone that knows these plants/phenos, please share as I am going purely on guess from reading other journals and such. KOK/CR –Cross of a KO Kush F4 M x Chocolate Rain F (Pheno was my heavy crystal plant, had hook leaves and more sativa finger style). Veg - Plant has leaves that lean to KO Kush dominance and are much broader than the original CR mother. During early growth grew like KO Kush, however, once topped, this plant took on more CR characteristics with significant off shoots and lots of growth, becoming the bushiest of all the seedlings. Verified Female! 3 out of 4 beans popped are female I have already started this grow, and will add a few submissions to catch you up to where I am currently, starting second week of bloom. Anyone with notes on CCK to share, please pass them along as I am learning these beans still, beautiful structure on both pheno I have and some different aroma between both, very exited to see what she does. On with the show....
  6. In not only my opinion, this strain deserve a special care, as a genetic future heirloom. Please, consider this strain as a gift for the future. Dont loose it. Thank you for your talent to do it.

  8. Damn its finally getting to be winter around these parts, the nights are cold and I gotta warm the house somehow. So lets fire up another round. I'll be doing Sannies Organic program again on cocos, just like the current round. They'll get started in the propagator and will move to the small tent with the T5 for a short veg, maybe 2-3 weeks tops, followed by the 600w HPS and the big tent. Might be making some updates to the whole setup soon, got some cash coming in from a past employer that hadn't payed out fair wages. Thanks to my Union and their lawyers, I'll be getting a hell of a Christmas present on my bank account any day. But now to the matter at hand: Sprouting; 4 X Sugarpunch (fem) 5 X Mad Kush (fem) 1 X Candy Kush (fem) 5 X Chucky's Bride (regular) 5 X YOU DECIDE!! Yes, you chose the last 5 seeds to make into the tent. Below is a picture of all the possible strains to choose from, I got room for 5 more. The first person to respond can tell me which strain they'd like to see grown and its done, the seeds will get planted right away. The sooner the better! Here some winners to choose from...
  9. 1x fem Mad scientist, popped 2/12/14 1x reg chemistry, popped 2/13/14 3x reg chucky's bride, popped 2/10/14 Shitty pic. But three sets of leaves on two of the cb's, two sets on the other. Two sets of leaves on the mad scientist and chemistry. Have a 260 cfm fan blowing through carbon. Will update with "better" pics in the future. And more info on the grow.
  10. Seeds in the dirt, nothing happened yet. Soaked them in a glass of water overnight. They are now in the propagator, temps are 26C/78F. Hopefully I get at least 1 female. Wish me luck! 2 x Kolossus reg 1 x Jackberry F4 reg 1 x Chucky's Bride reg 60 x 60 x 160 tent 250 W MH + 250 HPS for bloom time. I might add a bit more wattage later on in the bloom. Seedlings go under 85 W CFL as soon as they show themselves. Then into tent under MH. Plangro Roal Mix, coco coir, worm castings, biotabs kit, bio molasses, 7gal / 26 ltr container, small air-pots. Next time I'll get some other soil, but this was gifted to me...
  11. Posting my log from last grow, info will come in a few waves, posting 1st two months, grow pics are up already in gallery, some of the abbreviations are in pic file names, in case you are trying to identify flowers..... Hope you enjoy and please share feedback and any input that will help me improve.... Seed Observations: KOK4- A: dark stripes and mostly covered in stripes (85%), mid sized in group B: more white (60%) than stripes (40%), on the larger size of the seeds C: more white (70%) with some striping (30%), on smaller side (XX-DID NOT GERMINATE-XX) D: mostly white (80%) minimal stripes, smallest of seeds CB - A: tan (85%) with minimal striping (15%), very round, and smaller side of group B: tan with dark brown stripes, more pronounced stripes in group, also mid/large size C: light tan and mostly pale color for seed, virtually no striping to note, smaller in group D: tan with dark brown stripes, mid/larger sized CR A: tan brown and some dark brown lines, smallest in group B: darker brown, with dark brown/black lines, looks like nut, mid/large size C: looks similar to B, but someone erased part of it and it was tan under the erased part, mid/large size 4/5/13 – Germing 11 total. Hanging bag method with distilled/hyperoxide mix. Started hanging in closet in moved to back of cab to see if more heat could help. Germinating: KOK4 – (4) | CB – (4) – {100%} | CR – (3) {100%} 4/8/13 – KOK – (3) in Rockwool, and Seed C is still needing further crack for root CB – (1) into Rockwool {D}, other (3) show crack, but taproot still needs to break out. CR – (3) still waiting, looks like A was cracking, but no taproots. 4/9/13 –KOK – Still waiting on C CB – Planted B&C, Still waiting on A, but see its cracked CR – Planted B&C – waiting on A 4/10/13 – KOK – (2) in RW are above surface. Seed C shows no crack or taproot. Tried scuffing seed a few times passing over matchbook strike area. Resealed seed into bag to see if scuffing helps crack. ONLY ONE REMAINING AT THIS TIME. CB – Planted A, root developed well and seed was about to shed from embryo CR – Planted A, showed good taproot freedom. KOKC – did not crack – it was the only one not to sprout. 5/4/13 – Moved from veg to grow chamber, still running 18/6, working with new hydro setup. 5/7/13 – Day 5 in Bloom chamber running veg. Starting to see first signs of roots penetrating out of larger RW cubes. Here is the plant run down, for 12 sites: KOK – All have a smiliar stature of growth with short spacing between levels and nodes/brnches only starting to protrude outward. Not enough there for taking clones as of 5 weeks. (A) – at week 5 of veg, has most contained structure of all the KO. Currently the middle sized plant of the three. Leaves are strong Indica with avg sizing. ( – week 5 tallest of the three. Has leaf structure more similar to A. (D) – Week 5 shortest of the three. Has a leaf that is longer and slightly more sativa looking than A&B. Has largest leaves of all three plants. CB – (A) – Runt of the bunch (and of closet). Sativa looking leaves. Believe this phenol leans to C99. ( – second shortest of group. Has most distinctly different leaves, leaning more to indica structure and size. Cheese pheno. © Very close to height of B, leaves are longer and leaner. Has sativa leaf structure but indica plant structure. Leaning C99 pheno. (D) Has most Sativa characteristic of group. Largest leaf development and more space between nodes. C99 Pheno. CR – (A) – Runt of the group and only slightly larger than the CB runt. Has more Indica leaning traits barely any lower branching. ( – Has long serrated leaves, with some decent branching . Mid-sized of the three. © tallest in the closet, has most significant branching and is leaning in design to a sativa with leaf structure. Cup of 2013-1 (B & G) – Have (3) G and (1) B growing in single site. This is a test to see what is possible and realistic in small plant space development– B went in 2 days later as last minute decision, but was not as far along in regrowth and was still a flower (took about 3-4 days to unwind and reveal new growth. Mystery Cup (A & – A is grown from seed from my 1st round. There are no clones as of yet, as I am waiting to see if its female. B is cloned from a different seed from 1st (2005) round batches, has mother plant in veg. 5/24 – Have healthy and vigorous growth among all plants, phenos seem to have shown through. Nutes are stable and plants lush and green. Clean white roots. Box is starting to look crowded and the CRC is pushing the upper limit of where they need to be for SCROG. Starting the 12/12 cycle 5/25, as lights start up later tomorrow, as a result, here are final observations under veg CR-A (26cm) & CR-B (23 cm) – believe to be a 50/50 or a chocolope, more ind structure and similar in size, stature. CR-C (34cm)– believe to be Cocoa Kush, largest plant in the box, strong sativa leaning leaves and stretch between nodes. FIMMED tonight to stop vert growth. CB-A (22cm) – Believe a mix pheno, leaves have sativa look but structre is tight growth with tight branching – compact plant CB-B (24cm) – Cheese Pheno, indica leaning leaves. CB-C (28cm) – Good mix on this one, cindy leaning CB-D(26cm) - Good mix on this one, cindy leaning KOK-A (22cm) – Short, stout plant with multiple braches reaching to top of plant. Horizontal growth is almost equal to vert growth KOK-B (25cm) – tallest of the KOK, with side branches slightly more uniform, providing more that single tall cola structure plant KOK-D(18cm) – Had issues when seedling standing tall always wanted to fall, has a slight lean to base. Very similar to A in development with side branches shooting out and catching top of plant, providing multiple tops (Fem) NIRV-F4 - White Thick (A,B, and C) (19cm) – all the same height, multiple tops NIRV-F4 - Red – (11cm) just coming out of shell and starting to have first leaves of new growth. Not sure if this have enough time to get going. Nirv-F1-seedling(23cm) – Broke the original plant down to bottom branches and has recovered nicely. Nirv-F1-Clone (25cm) – has stretched a lot inbetween nodes, but I think it is going through rapid growth and working to keep up with canopy as it is next to CR-C and pushing both of these to fight for light already seeing where some of my copy and paste is turning into emoticons. they are supposed to be a B and a C Cracking Beans....
  12. Hello Opengrow Community Thought its about damn time that I share with you my most recent finished grow. I've been a C99 fan ever since my first grow with this magnificent strain, since then I've grown a few C99 crosses and have never been disappointed. So when I heard that Esko was releasing the Chucky's Bride, C99 X Exodus Cheese, there was no doubt that this combination would kick ass. The main star of this grow was clearly the Chucky's Bride, but for variety she was paired with KO Kush, and Jackberry KO Kush. So this round was one for the fast finishers, all three strains being 7-8 week finishers. Needless to say, all three strains kicked ass in their own right: Chucky's Bride takes the cake in terms of resin production and aroma, she is extremely sticky and stinky. The KO Kush takes the prize for fastest finisher. While the Jackberry X KO Kush is the clear winner in structure and appearance, she's a truly beautiful cross. Ok enough babbling here the stats and pics: First few weeks: 120 X 60 cm Dark Room Starlight T5 220w GHE Flora Series, Useless Formula Supervit Hesi Roots Plagron Growmix During flower: 120 X 120 cm Dark Room 600w HPS Adjust-a-Wing Midi Atami Bloom (Bloei) Plagron Growmix After 6 weeks of veg, week 1 of 12/12 Week 1 Flowering Week 2 Flowering Jackberry X KO KUsh KO Kush Chucky's Bride Week 3 Flowering Chucky's Bride Jackberry X KO Kush KO Kush Week 4 Flowering, first problems arise. One of the KO Kush plants and the green Jackberry X KO Kush pheno go hermy on me. That purple sack in the middle of the bud is a male flower. The JB X KO also developed a few bananas. I didn't want them pollinating the garden, so they were removed. Possible stress factors that could have cause it: Cold temperatures during lights off, as well as high temperature differences between lights on and off. Another possible stress factor was a 5 minute light interruption during lights off. KO Kush hermy Jackberrry X KO Kush hermy Week 5 Flowering, with the hermy girls gone, they have a bit more room to stretch their branches. However, at this point, the girls have a bad case of nitrogen deficiency. Especially the Chucky's Bride were in need of more nitrogen. Despite my efforts to green them back up, they just kept losing color. For nutes, I was applying the Useless Formula at half strength up until this point, but upped the dose to 3/4th strength. All the plants were able to handle the stronger dose no problem, next time that I grow the Chucky's Bride I definitely run the formula at 3/4th strength from the beginning of flowering. In this pic, the 2 KO Kush are in the front center and middle center. The JB X KO is on the front right. Around the outside, all the rest are Chucky's Bride. Jackberry X KO Kush Chucky's Bride Week 6 Flowering Jackberry X KO Kush Chucky's Bride KO Kush Week 7 Flowering. One of the Chucky's Bride also decides to throw a few hermy bananas. Thankfully all the rest are 100% female. Jackberry X KO Kush Chucky's Bride hermy, removed from the tent.
  13. Holy Princess Grow and Smoke Report: I grew 2 different cuts of Holy Princess and 1 cut of Chucky's Bride, about 8 plants total. I didn't grow the Chucky enough for her own report, but she is very comparable, so she is sort of wrapped in here. Find the whole report in my signature - Round 2. Grow Info: Take the following with a grain of salt, this is my own opinion from my grows, smoking and info from people's opinion I respect. If you can, seek out the balanced or not Cindy dominant phenos. The Cindy dad is so dominant that the Cindy phenos are stretchy and while very tasty, are not taking advantage of the real possibilities these crosses have to offer. The cheese or SM phenos will have better structure and will explode with taste once cured. All the sweetness of the Cindy will be there, with crisp flavor from the other parent. Of course, Cindy phenos can be intense for some people... and too much is not fun at all, totally anxiety causing. No edibles from this stuff, just a few bowls or 2/3 of a joint will set you up for the whole night. I'll get back to smoking I'm a second. She is not hard to grow, but needs to be trained early and supported for best results. Pinching helps reduce her node distance a bit. She is not a big feeder but will show yellow leaves as N deficiency in flowering once the stretch stops or a week after, makes no difference really. Don't do a 3 week transition thinking it'll help, she is too fast for that, instead, start building up your Flo nutes a little faster than usual and watch out come week 6-7! The rewards will come. I flowered all of mine for 8 weeks, but she is a fast finisher, it takes a couple runs to adapt, not at all like growing an 8 week indica, in my opinion, so plan for that. Here are some collected photos from a few grows of these ladies: Good shot of the node distance: Shots of various plants: Now, the smoke report This bud has been curing for about 3-4 weeks and I have not smoked it in over a week. I have been smoking Sugar Punch, Jackberry, Mad Shack and KO kush so I am ready to experience this with a refreshed palette. SPECS : -Cindy 99 x Santa Maria by E$kob@r -Flowered 8 weeks -Dried and sweated for 10-11 days, cured for 4 weeks -Smoked 2 bowls from a clean glass pipe Smell: 9/10 - Absolutely fantastic smell in the jar, very sweet and skunky or in the Chucky's case, sweet and cheesy. Somewhere during the cure is a bubblegum flavor. This is just very sweet stuff. If I could grow a Chuck again, that would be a 10, IMO ! Taste: 8/10 - Sweet and a little leathery. I think it was the pheno #4 of Holy P that had that bubblegum aspect in the jar, and tasted like red fruit. High: 8.5/10 - Comes on strong to the head and chest, it's definitely a little heart pumping for the first few minutes. The body high kicks in a few minutes later and I can feel my shoulder and how tense they are. I won't get much relief from this, muscles are not tense, I'm just more aware of everything. Sounds, taste, emotions, it's all a little heightened. This is very mood dependent and how much effort I put in, but if I am in a good mood, I'll have a great time. If i am not patient, I'll be plain mean. So beware CONCLUSION: Overall, I love these cinderella 99 crosses, they are very intense, very tasty and can be great fun to grow if you work at it a little. I think esko has done brilliant work with these and of course the outcome of this project.. I said before that Bubblegum is something that comes to mind with these... turns out that is exactly what Esko's Boudica is all about - "blood orange chewing gum". I have too many projects right now, but my next order will include Boudica! Straight to the fridge as a backup pack for some awesome gear! A winner in my book and we'll see what I get when I pop the last of my Chucky's Bride seeds.
  14. Hello , Me and Friend are planing to put all these beans I compulsively bought into flowers. Friend is a loooong time friends (about 18 years) and smoking is really something we have no will to quit. So after seeing the results (outdoor) of my first try , he decided to go indoor last year, for one year we have been toying with AK 48 from nirvana (these were cheap , and i didn't want to lose good genetics). Now we feel is the time to get a bit more serious, the last two years I've bought *Amnesia Haze x G13 Haze *Caramel Cough *Killing Fields *Blue Hammer *JackBerry *Chocolate Rain *Chocolate mix *Anesthesia *Vanilla Sky *Chucky's Bride *Holy Princess *Killing Field x Katsu cut *Sour Diesel x Blueberry *Killa Queen X Blue Hammer We would like to test all these in the next year or so, my cab is not ready yet , but the dimensions are known. Friend's cab is inside a Pax wardrobe from Ikea. Flowering part -2 x 150 w HPS - 95cm (wide) 55 (depth) 1.20m (height) - Carbon Scruber - 380m3/h rvk Veg part -80 cm height same width and lenght - 150 w TN -Sunon My cab should be ready around Halloween, dimensions are about the same, a bit wider (105cm), deeper (58cm) and a total height of 250 cm with 4x30w T8(?) in the Veg part and 8x24w (2 times 4x24 really) in the flowering part. I hope to make 52 updates (once a week) to document the grow of these little babies. This round will be in soil (plagron light and royal mix), but i hope to switch to coco and passive hydro next time (dirt is ....dirty and we do have a social and familly life ). Before showing (drumroll) , who was choosen first , I would like to thank Sannie, I've had once a germination problem on one pack and another time with the post and suffice to say the man didn't let me down:o) so thanks again and if you are gifted something..the less you can do is share.
  15. No pics at the moment (my wife was recently victimized by my new camera, when it jumped out of her hands and broke on the floor), but I've got a few purty little gals (and guys, I would venture to say) who have been vegging about 30 days. 2 Chucky's Bride (one with female preflowers) 3 Cheeseberry (one with female preflowers) 5 Blue Santa (one with female preflowers) 5 Caramel Candy Kush. The rest have no preflowers at all, though one Cheeseberry seems to be developing male flowers. They'll get another 2 weeks of veg. Last grow, I assumed I'd end up with too many female plants, so kept them all small. I did a good job keeping them small, but my assumption about too many females was a little off. This time, the plants are all going to be big. Maybe I'll regret it, but not as much as I'd regret a grow that didn't use up every square inch of prime lighted space. Most of the plants are about average in size, except the Cheeseberry with preflowers. That bitch could be huge, and I may end up putting a small SCROG screen on her. She'll dwarf the rest. My town's water supply is now a much higher pH than it was 6 months ago, and some of my plants seem to be getting an iron deficiency. It was a shock to see the tap water at 7.4, after it being 5.9 last summer. I wonder if they have more than once source. Anyway, I pHed down the water to 5.7 and watered the girls who look deficient. I'll see how that does them tonight. Maybe I'll have to spring for some ironite.
  16. I would like to share my experience with Eskobar's Chucky's Bride. I have a completely medical and legal organic operation. I do not believe I have ever tried the parent genetics, being Exodus Cheese or C99. This smoke report will evolve over the next four months, as I am still testing all the other females that are in various stages of growth and drying/curing process. Pictures will also come all at once with my grow report, sooners. Strain - Chuckys Bride Mostly sativa Harvested at 25% amber, mostly milky trichomes Smoking device - classic volcano vaporizer Potentcy 10 being most potent, CB gets a 7.5 to 8 ( cure could make it stronger) Cure time - 2 weeks and ongoing Bud density - 10 being most dense, CB is a 7.8 Smell - Each plant will have varying degrees of the Cheese and fruity, pineapple smell. Some plants reek of straight cheesy funk and followed by a hint of tropical fruit, others just opposite with pure pineapple sweetness, followed with just a hint of cheese. Taste - Lol one person said "this tastes like food" another said "spaghetti" but it is really the Cheese stretchy sativa pheno. Another test specimen tastes more sweet and fruity, the purple/blue hue pineapple C99 pheno that stays short with little stretch. This is definitely some real cheese flavor and stink here. I love it. Flowering time - 7 to almost 9 weeks, pheno dependent Effect - Very uplifting, but relax and chill, with a hint of body tingling sensation. Mostly in the head high with some psychadelic effects. Socializing, creative, inspires one to enjoy a walk in nature, work out. If you smoke too much, defintely can give your head a lil spin. No to little paranoia. Good for nausea, headaches, minor pain relief, depression, and for my PTSD. If you want a wake and bake weed, here it is. Chuck will not hit you all the way, right away. The name is perfect, because she is a little bit of a creeper weed. After a few minutes the effects come on subtley. Fortunately, she is a sativa that wont make you racy or sketched out. This is an energizing weed but wont keep you awake, tossin and turning. Pheno variety - Among a selection of 5 females, I noticed 2 or 3 phenos 1 - Stretchy Cheese pheno, reeks, tastes of cheese 80% pineapple 20% 2/5 2- Less stretchy, shorter but more compact bud formation smells/tastes more blended 50/50 cheese/pineapple 2/5 3 - medium to low stretch, medium plant, heavier yield, tight bud formation, mostly green with 25% of leaf and bud turning blue and purple hues. Reeks and tastes sweet, tropical fruitness, pineapple 75% cheese 25% C99 pheno...my favorite so far. 1/5 I will add more to my report as I gather some more time. Feel free to ask some questions, or leave comments. Peace GA
