  1. Bigger than what I'm used to, for sure. Dealt with so many leaks that I should be made co-owner of Wikileaks. But finally, it's underway, and thriving. In a nutshell: Flower room: 5 rows of 4 x 1000w Gavita de Each row is about 7.2m long and 1.6m wide. Each row has 8 pipes - 100mm internal diameter - parallel to the width, with 3 possible plant sites per pipe. Each row of 8 pipes is fed by a single 75w submersible pump in a 200 litre reservoir. Each 200 litre reservoir is automatically maintained at required water level with individual float valves. They are connected to a common 500L overhead tank. The 500L tank also contains a float valve, and is connected to a 1000L tank on the roof of the building. 15cm x 15cm square scrog nets are stretched at 2 feet and 3 feet above each row. I had to start from seeds for a lot of shitty reasons. So we've got 1 row of Dinafem Original Amnesia, 1 row of Dinafem Critical Jack, 1 row of Dinafem Critical +, 2 rows of Kolossus. There's a blue cheese (dinafem), sweet amnesia (sweet seeds) in there somewhere as well. Then we've got the veg room: Here I've got about 10 moby dick auto, 10 moby dick xxl auto, and a few small autos by sweet seeds, collectively under 2 x 1000w gavita de. These got off to a really rocky start. I don't have high expectations, but they're pretty vigourous even so. There's an undercurrent setup on the side ready to go, waiting for autoflower seeds that are on the way. It can accommodate 15 plants under another 2 x 1000w de. After this round, when I've decided on my keepers from this lot, I'll strip the undercurrent system down into 2 parts. 1 for mother plants and 1 for autoflowers. I've got smaller crates in 2 racks that can accommodate up to 130 seedlings or clones. It's got about 60 seedlings in a 4x4 area under 240w of normal Philips t5 led. There's another 2.67m x 6.67m room which will be used in part for drying/pressing/etc., as well as for genetic experiments and to grow some nice longer flowering sativas. The amnesia, a tried and tested one from dinafem, is one of the best in their catalogue. Big producer and vigorous grower. Awesome taste and potent end product: Same with critical jack. Different flavours and high, a bit less stretchy, probably just a tad less vigourous than her amnesia sister: It's my first time with critical plus. Looks good, nothing mind-blowing as far as vigour grows compared to amnesia: I've grown kolossus before and she's normally a fat thick lady. Something didn't go quite right and they wound up being a week or two behind their dinafem siblings. I've got confidence in them though. Here's one of the 2 rows of kolossi: The moby dicks are some of the hungriest plants I've grown. About 1600ppm to keep them from showing deficiencies. My friend in Germany experienced the same. Individual plant pictures coming soon. Best vibes El Chupa
  2. Hi OpenGrow! It's my first time experience with Sannie's seeds, so I decided to go "full Sannie" and grow with the 4 step bio method, so I got a starter pack with Bacto, Buffertabs, Symbiosis and Bac Bloom liquid fertiliser. Basic stuff, "the plan": Grow space - 120x60cm tent Lights - DIY cob leds, Cree CXB3590 3000K@700-1400mA, total 300W or 400W max(still undecided) Pots - 2x 18l, 1x 11l, 3x 2l(still not 100% on the last 3) Medium - BioBizz LightMix + 4 step bio Vent + filter, of course Seeds: Sannie's Kolossus(18l), Ace Panama x BangiHaze(18l), TTSCO Durbakistan(11l) Female Seeds Auto Kush(1-3l), Mosca C99-BX1 reg(hoping for a male+female, 1-3l) There are still few options to consider, especially related to veg time and plant count. I feel plants should grow for at least 4 weeks in veg phase, so I'm thinking of 5 weeks veg for Kolossus and Panama x Bangi, 4 weeks for Durbakistan and 3 weeks for the C99s(keeping them small just for a taste and making some seeds). The plants will get topped and lst to maximise the tops and make a kind of scrog. I'm still thinking about a net but I like moving plants so I might find another solution, probably only lst. I wanted to ask a few questions before starting: Which soil is better used with the 4 step organic method? I was thinking of BioBizz and add just a bit of perlite and pelleted compost(for that nice smell of stables:) Can I start the seeds in spongepots and transplant directly to the big pots or should I bother with a small pot first? How does Kolossus handle lst and topping? Should I apply organic veg nutes at any time or are the buffertabs enough until the end? Of course more questions come to mind but it's probably enough for now. Thanks for any response and interest, I'll keep updating frequent enough with hopefully some nice pictures to show. Cheers
  3. Hey folks, Got tired of making new topics for each grow. I don't like the way there's no continuity, so from now on, for all indoor meanderings, this is going to be where it's at. For those of you who don't know, I live in the tropics of India. Climate is around 24-27°C at it's coldest in late december/early jan and 35-40°C at it's hottest (end of april/mid may). Relative humidity is always on the high end, from 60% upwards - average of maybe 75%. Given these conditions, I use an Air Conditioner, and try to keep the room at a comfortable temperature (maybe 25-26) and humidity of about 50%. I go with hydro - so far, I haven't ventured beyond a DWC with a jacuzzi of air bubbles in the buckets. This grow, I will be running a horizontal setup (12 bucket DWC, 3 rows of 4). It measures about 1m x 1.6m, and is lit by 2 x 400w HPS in the local reflectors, running on philips magnetic ballasts. 1 will be having a 400w hortilux bulb that is one grow old, and 1 will be a new 400w Osram MH. This will be the first time I am trying an MH and HPS overlapping, side by side. Should be interesting. Under this setup, I will be sowing a total of 24 seeds of Bluezilla. Nothing special to see here. The pipe running across the picture is not a part of this setup. (Bluezilla is a cross of New Blue Diesel and Shackzilla. It has shown me 3 intriguing phenotypes so far out of the 3 beans I've popped - enough to convince me to pop a lot more. 2 of the 3 were vigorous producers, and the terpene profile across all of them was off the charts. I wish I hadn't made the mistake of taking cuttings late in flowering, or I'd have a lovely pair of moms now. Anyways, flowering seems to vary between 8 and 13 weeks so far. some pics: BZ#1 BZ#2 Next to the horizontal setup is where the real fun part is going to be for this grow. I am constructing a vertical setup, identical to Heath Robinson's flooded tube setup. It works much like a colosseum - the plants are all surrounding and watching the light in the middle. Unlike Heath, I do not have 96 clones to work with. Instead, I will be working with about 60 clones of a really nice cut of Kolossus. Here is Heath's 600w flooded tube surrounded with 4 rows of 96 clones of positronics Viking: As for Kolossus: (I grew about 12 females of Kolossus last grow and kept about 7 of them into flower. All of the phenos had a very similar set of terpenes - raw mango, and as the cure goes along, the rawness gives way to an almost 'rotten mango' kind of smell, very beautiful. I kept cuttings of 2 of them - k#1 and k#8. k1 was the biggest producer of the lot, and gave me an oz with almost no veg. lovely taste and smell, nice and dense but not "god bud dense". finished in about 9-10 weeks of flo. k8 finished the fastest of the lot and was a reasonable yielder herself - 18 grams, and the reason I kept her was because she finished in an astounding 62 days, which I did not expect for Kolossus) K1: this photo really does NOT do justice to this cut K8: Here are the stages of construction for this vertical grow: First the base (which was actually fitted the wrong way, but fixed it before the next picture): Then the vertical supports: Cross bars: Roof with first tier roughly in place: The cross bars were removed because I did not think about how i was going to mount the pipes when the cross bar comes right at the same level... Instead of conventional clamps, I opted for these brackets: They will allow me to set the height more easily when I have to level the entire thing, rather than having to redrill and reattach the clamps to the frame. That's where I'm at right now, I hope to have everything functional and running within the next week. Will keep everyone posted, this one is going to be a good one! Best vibes El Chupa
  4. I want to welcome you all to the grow journal of a set of plants that will be grown for varying reasons. I will report on the coming 22 weeks of their growth. This journal will predominately focus the four Kolossus (Sannie) mothers. These four ladies are being accompanied by 10 feminized Amnesia Haze Automatics (RQS). I tried to germinate 12 seeds, but 2 of them turned out not to be viable. The spots that were reserved for these 2 are being filled with 6 (2 times 3) regular autoflowers ((Auto Mazar x Auto AK47) x Snowryder). All plants are situated in a 750 liters big bag (+/- 90 x 90 x 90 cm). This big bag is filled to about 40 cm with 350 liters of soil. The top 50 liters of the substrate is composed of a mix of Supreme light mix, bentonite clay and Perfect Start. The other 300 liters is comprised of the following mixture: When repotting I put a bit of Symbiosis in each plant hole. To give you an idea of the total setup, you can take a look at the picture below which was made on day 11. This is the 11th day, counted from the moment that de Kolossus seeds germinated. The Amnesias have been put to germinate on day 5. They started their lives above ground on day 9. The majority of the 6 extra autoflowering seeds has germinated today (day 18). My setup is as follows: 1 x 1 x 1,80 meter tent; 400 watt Phillips Master SON-T PIA Plus; DIY softbox with Rück fan (370 m3/h with build in thermometer & dimmer); passive inlet of air; multiple organic and anorganic substances to control certain things. ------------- Today is day 18. The ladies will enjoy 18 hours of light per day for the coming weeks. The plan is to have this reduced to 12 hours per day on day 77. In the meantime a lot is going to happen. The main focus is on the cultivation of four Kolossus mothers. For this I will top them (around day 30) and will train them to grow horizontally. The planning is to cut two clones from each plant on day 45. If they are rooted I will start reducing the amount of light hours per day that the plants receive. This will go gradually. Below I have inserted four overview pictures that show the development of the Kolossus ladies during the past two weeks. #1 #2 #3 #4 At the time that the clones are rooted and the light hours are being reduced, the Amnesias will have grown a lot. I expect them to be in flowering mode for about a week then. The idea is that the Amnesias are going to be harvested before the Kolossus mothers show the first signs of flowering. An above average performing Amnesia Haze Automatic is shown below to give you an impression of the lag that they have when comparing to the Kolossus plants. At the time that all autoflowers have been harvested (around day 85), I want to place a scrogg-net above the remaining plants to fill up the environment. The Kolossus lady that will perform the best will serve as a mother for future grows. For now this is probably enough text. I am curious to read what you guys think. Kind regards, Thomson
  5. I got a cutting of kolossus that turns purple. I haven't grown it till ends. I have seen my friends purple kolossus. it's the most purpleish bud ever! Im waiting for later growth. Buds are just developing but little leaves are almost black. Has anyone else seen this pheno?
  6. Hey Guys and Girls. I have been a long time lurker on these forums and decided to open a new thread about my 2016 Kolossus grow as it seems that the Kolossus grow reports are far between. Hopefully this thread will help me learn more about this lovely strain. I was gifted a dozen seeds of regular Kolossus seeds by a friend at the end of last year. I do not know how old the seeds are but I consider it fortunate to have these seeds seeing as the strain is currently out of stock. Some info about the grow. The idea is to have a small scale perpetual grow to harvest every 2 or 3 weeks. This is a stealth grow so all plants are kept small and low by training the plants. The medium that I use is a mix of Coco-Coir and Perlite. About 60/40 mix. The nutrients that I am using atm is a locally produced 3-part series similar to the General Hydroponics 3-part series. I know this community feels strong about using organic nutes so I apologize to those members but this is not an organic grow. I might in the future move over to Biobizz organic nutes that gets imported to our country or make my own soil mix. I have a small veg box with 2 x 45W compact floro's that I use for seedlings and clones. I flower outside in the southern african sun in plastic and smart pots, however the flowering plants are taken indoors every night to force a 12/12 light cycle. In January I popped 3 of the seeds. They all had a rough start due to a mistake I made with using medium that already had nutes in and this burned the plants and slowed down the early growth. Lesson learned. Out of the 3 seeds 2 were females and 1 male. K #1 was vegged for 9 weeks before showing pre flowers after 8 weeks K #2 as male and culled. K #3 was vegged for 10 weeks before showing pre flowers after 9 weeks K #1 is in a 2 Gallon smartpot and K #3 is in a 7 Gallon plastic pot. The K #1 pheno looks about 50/50 to me and the K #3 leans more to the sativa side. I assume this is the more shack influenced pheno. I will be popping more Kolossus seeds later this year to find a keeper mother out of all the pheno's I get but will for now only run clones of these two pheno's after their two seed grows are harvested. At the moment we are at the end of 7 weeks flowering for K #1 and 6 weeks flowering for K #3. The lemony smell is starting to come out strong. I can't wait to taste this strain. Pics to follow in the next post. Looking forward to get advice and tips from others that have grown this lovely strain from Sannie.

  8. 1400w Bluezilla + Kolossus Grow First things first: (Warning: my updates will likely be only 2 to 3 times per month, and I do tend to write more than I need to) Hardware: 2 x 400w Philips mag HPS ballast 1 x 400w Apollo 400w Bulb 1 x 400w Eye Hortilux HPS 400w Bulb* 2 x reflector 1 x 600w Gavita 600e Digistar 1 x 600w Gavita 600w HPS bulb* A/C 24 hours @ 24°C (outside temperature is around 30-35°C) temperature at plant tops: ~28-31°C Veg: 15/9 Flo: 12/12 DWC with lots of airflow 15L buckets, some 2" net pots, some with 3", some with 6" Nutes: GH-Flora 3 part OR Advanced Nutrients 3 part (the old one) - I have both, together in enough quantities for the duration of this grow. I have found that interchanging them, as long as I am using all 3 of them, has no negative effects. (I am not talking about mixing GH and AN together, but rather one week of topping up with GH and the next week with AN.) Additives: Cannazym/Sensizym - throughout the cycle PK 13/14 - when necessary Superthrive - a couple sprays during the early stages pH - 5.6-6.0 ppm - 400-450 during veg, we will see how she likes it during flowering. she was super content with 500-550 last time around, and that's what I will aim for. *Until November 9th, the 600w bulb being used is a Philips Greenpower 600w, and the 400w Bulb being used is a Philips 400w Son-T bulb. The hortilux and gavita bulb are on the way from 'Murica. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ BZ#1 After finding a keeper of FOTH's BZ (Bluezilla : New Blue Diesel x Shackzilla), shown above, I decided it was time for me to do a bigger grow with a single uniform phenotype. Towards the end of September, I cut 2 plants of BZ#1 up into clones. Extra info: BZ#1 is (I think) a 50/50 pheno with both sat and indica tendencies. The nugs are dense (but not like the rocks of some indica that I picked up in Cali once) and coated. the fan leaves and stems are coated as well. The smell is skunky, cheesy, pungent, and diesel-ish. The smoke tastes like very high quality charas, very hashy taste. The high is a combination of in the head and in the hamstrings - your head will be rolling along but your hamstrings will not feel like going anywhere. It seemed to have blue tendencies in some of the lower nugs, but I don't think that my temperatures will be conducive to colours. It is not like a killing fields which I've heard colours in almost any temperature. within 5 days, the first tangible roots had shown (not just white bumps, but strands), and within 10 days they were dying to be put under a real light instead of a t5. they were granted their wish at the end of the month: here they are, 2 days into their new homes, on the first of october: here, we have 9 clones around a 400w (which will be shortly replaced by a 600w). The one on the right, in line with the bulb and in contact with the screen, is a BZ#0 - a much, much more sativa leaning pheno of the same parents, extremely stretchy and 2 weeks longer flowering. That is why the other buckets have 2 clones per bucket and this has it's own. It is the smallest to start, but will rapidly take up more than it's fair share of space... This screen is 38" wide - 1m - and 40" tall - about 1 m. here, we have a total of 5 clones under a 400w with a standard reflector, nothing fancy. Two in 1 bucket with 2" net pots, and 3 in one bucket in one 6" net pot. The reason the pots are all over the place is because I planned on something different initially and then changed the plan a couple times before settling on this one. I have always been an advocate of vertical bare bulb growing - purely due to the heat in my country. if i lived in finland, perhaps I'd be an advocate of horizontal bulb orientation. But whatever it is, making assumptions with 0 experience and ambiguous evidence is not something I like to do. Hence, I decided to do the following: one vertical grow around a 600w bulb in an area of 1.5 x 1 m, and a horizontal grow right next to it under 2 x 400w with reflectors. It's not a good experiment, as there is no control, and the sample size is limited, and there are many variables that are not controlled, like uneven reflectivity and passive lighting from neighbouring lamps. but it should give me some idea of how these two systems work and how they differ. There is only 1 x 400w in the picture. the second will be placed adjacent to it, with a DIY reflector I made from a sheet of reflective material (possibly the same thing used in reflectors; i found it lying around at a hardware store and took it) that I kind of bent into a reflector shape. I also received this beautiful piece of hardware that i bought from Germany on the 1st; she was set up immediately, but was not used till about a week later; I did not want to burn the young clones. as you can see, the dial is kind of wonky and points in the wrong direction; the pointer is off by about 180°. I didn't even ask Gavita what was wrong, I figured it's some kind of manufacturing defect, could not find any others like it online...it seems to work normal though, it is pulling a hair over 600w/h so I think the functioning is fine. now, less words and more pictures: the 7th of oct, still going 400w on the vertical: starting to see the differences between vert and horizontal and their effects on the plant 10th of october, really starting to grow: (the new plants in the background are also BZ#1; the 2 buckets furthest back were removed later to make room for the Kolossi.) 15th of Oct 20th of Oct The screen has been put in place. Below, we see Kolossi, a week old or so. There were supposed to be 20, but just after sowing them I was forced to do some travel for work and when i came back 4 days later, there were only 15 that had survived. Due to some other unrelated shit, 2 more of them died as well, and I have 13 Kolossi. 25th October: the time to flip will come before November. It will be early for the Kolossi but I'm really only growing them to find a keeper or two, and they do not need to be at full size (I think) to do that. As soon as they're large enough they will be cloned. they are smaller than they should be as they have been a lot farther from the light than they should be. That problem should be solved soon. Basically, we have one scrog under a 400w, one scrog around a 600w, and one kolossal clusterfuck under another 400w. I hope to be cut and cleaned up by the end of January, ready to roll again. Best Vibes to All El Chupa
  9. Hi everyone, Welcome to ROUND 2. I wanted to make a new thread to showcase new genetics from Esko & Sannie and my first experience with Hempy buckets. Round 2 is all about looking for some keepers. I'm hoping to pick 3 keepers from 10-12 females. Due to the summer heat, I'm just taking it easy, vegging under fluos until mid September. I'll run a perpetual setup and harvest every 2 weeks for 2-3 months straight. By the new year, I want to fill the entire tent with clones from 2 keepers and just do 1 big SCROG. The new genetics: After 5.5 days in spongepots, they were ready to be transplanted x5 Holy Princess x5 Chucky's Bride x5 Jackberry F4 x2 Esko Blueberry #3 x1 Riri Sour Diesel X Esko BlueBerry Holy Princess Chucky's Bride Jackberry F4 Blueberry #3 Riri SourDiesel X Esko Blueberry Alright, that's it for now, just wanted to get the thread started I will update with the plants that have been in veg and reveg when I get home tonight. This round is going to be a blast...
  10. Seeds in the dirt, nothing happened yet. Soaked them in a glass of water overnight. They are now in the propagator, temps are 26C/78F. Hopefully I get at least 1 female. Wish me luck! 2 x Kolossus reg 1 x Jackberry F4 reg 1 x Chucky's Bride reg 60 x 60 x 160 tent 250 W MH + 250 HPS for bloom time. I might add a bit more wattage later on in the bloom. Seedlings go under 85 W CFL as soon as they show themselves. Then into tent under MH. Plangro Roal Mix, coco coir, worm castings, biotabs kit, bio molasses, 7gal / 26 ltr container, small air-pots. Next time I'll get some other soil, but this was gifted to me...
  11. Usually I grow in a bigger tent with 600w HPS, but this time I had to scale down and do a straight T5 mini grow. 120 X 60 cm Dark Room Starlight T5 220w GHE Flora Series, Useless Formula Plagron Growmix Substrate The goal was to keep the plants short, so the girls got a short veg time and were kept in the (too) small pots until the stretch was over. This worked in keeping them short, but probably reduced the yield quiet a bit. I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking: Week 4-5 (actual flowering) Jackberry X Mad Scientist Kolossus Shackzilla Week 6-7 (actual flowering) Jackberry X Mad Scientist Shackzilla Week 7-8 (actual flowering) Shackzilla Week 9 (actual flowering), Jackberry X Mad Scientist @ harvest The other JB X MS pheno
  12. Unknown reason. pH: 5.8 ppm: 600-700 lights: 2x 600w HPS in cooltube, 4x 120W LED temp: 26-30C ebb & flood, rockwool. Plants have been growing for two weeks. Doesn't look it, does it? They seem to be drying and dying for no reason. Does anyone know what could I do? It seems that in less that two weeks these will be COMPLETELY dead. The cuts in the back are ok'ish but all of the Killing Fields in the front left and Kolossus on the front right are REALLY BAD. I have already had one KF die on me, and two Kolossus. I am losing hope..... PLEASE HELP PS: many times i have started a project with exactly the same ppm's, ph's and nutrients etc. and everytime for 10 years its been working great. but now, a mystery... MYSTERY problem. WTF
  13. I'm new to the OG forum and I've been absent on the other forums for years. About time to get back at it I think. However infrequent my posts will be. A brief introduction: Started Jackberry F4, Kolossus, Huckleberry Kush and Blue Santa from seed. I have two rounds going for the selection process, due to my lack of space. And commitment at first. The first round consists of 5 Jackberry, 4 Kolossus, 5 Huckleberry Kush...and a few LSD clones gifted from a generous individual. Round two consists of 4 Jackberry, 3 Kolossus, 3 Huckleberry Kush, and 4 Blue Santa. So far all the beans I received (and in such a timely fashion) have sprouted, I'm down two due to my own negligence at the young stage. Round One has been placed into the flowering room and will receive a 16/8 lighting regimen until October 1, when the switch to 12/12 will be made. For the 16/8 cycle they will only have the 400MH and 1 of 2 overhead 600HPS on. The 1000W HPS will switch on for a few hours a cycle beginning on 9/27. On 10/1 they 400MH will be raised/removed and 2200W of HPS will be used for the duration of the flower cycle. Round Two was just put into 2 gallon containers, where they will stay until their life cycle has gone full circle. I watered them in with Rapid Start and plain, chlorinated water. From my tap the water comes in about 6.8ph and 120-145ppm. Not bad. Clones have been taken from all of Round One with the exception of my little Jackberry runt, we'll see what it turns into. Another round of clones will be taken on October 22, or that is plan A at least. I'm using the New Millennium nutrient line and have Demeter's Calcium and Orginacare's Huvega should I need it. The plants set their roots in Big City Coco Mix from Sanctuary. Let's get growing...(I must have deleted the picture of the 1000W table. It has 4 each of Jackberry F4 and Huckleberry Kush...more to come in the future. _P

    Kolossus in Soil First Grow

Yo what's up everybody, this is my first grow, hoping everything works out well for my babies. So far I have 10 seedlings in 5 gallon smart pots (which I started in spongepots and planted straight into the 5 gallon, which i should've put in smaller containers, but hey you live and you learn right?) they're coming up to 2 weeks old Each pot has 2 buffer tablets, mycro and perfect start spread throughout. I've been dosing my babies with root stimulator every other watering (this week I'll give them a good watering of bacto). The soil is a mixture of Ocean Forest and Perlite. At the moment they're under 2 x 600 W MH bulbs turned down to 50% (waiting on 2 X 125 Watt CFL's to come in). The average temperature and humidity in the room is 77 degrees F / 50% Rh. I'm also supplementing the CO2 with a generator (air exchange is not an option for my grow room) I have 20 more that have been germinating for 4 days (15 sprouted, 5 more to go (fingers crossed))
  15. Hello all, This is my second grow. Just figured I would start posting my progress so you could all follow along. I know everyone here loves photos so I took some to post up. Nothing exciting yet, just vegging away. Have 2 Kolosuss, 2 Shackzilla, 1 Barneys Farm G13 haze and 1 Reserva Privada Kandy Kush. The Kolossus and Shack are doing a side by side grow, one each is in a normal pot and 1 in a smartpot to see if there is any difference in the final outcome. Well enough flapping away about boring stuff, here are the pics so far. Feel free to rip me apart, any comments are welcome as they will just help me learn. Thanks Kolossus #1 Kolossus #2 Shack #1 Shack #2 Kandy kush ( a small amount of nute burn, which I have stopped nutes and just gone to straight water) The whole grow this time thru... 2 kolossus front left and front middle, shack are the front right and back right, Kandy kush is back left and G13 haze is the stumpy one in the middle back.
  16. Is Big White an F1 hybrid when it's bred with shack to make Kolossus? I've got a pretty good idea about Shack from the sannieshop description, just not real sure about Big White. Just kinda wondering about the components of kolossus, which I harvested btw, and I think it crushes a lot of other commercial strains by being worthwhile pot in its own right. Happy Holidays btw! Love this forum-way more intelligent and civil than most others.
  17. These are my Ladies (Kolossus). These Ladies are 12 days of age.I have them in an organic composted soil and a little bit of worm castings.70%to 30% ratio.I put them out in the sun in the morning. To get that Cali sun Shine. Then bring them in under a UFO LED light. Its as good as a 400 watts MH/HPS. I have grow under it before and it is as advertised, for veg. I have yet to use it for flowering. For Flowering ill be using a 400 watt HPS. If temps in my grow tent were to get too hot, ill try out the LED and see how it performs in flowering. That's further down the road tho. I plan to germinate 7 more Kolossus. Ill give them about 3 weeks veg then 12/12 time. Here are a few pics..
  18. Here is the final smoke report from this grow, Sannie's Kolossus. Kolossus lives up to its name. It's easy to grow, responds well and yields massive buds. I had two phenos this time; one shorter thicker and one more sativa like. This review is of the shorter faster thicker pheno. Smell - Slight pine, citrus, grapefruit, touch of bright Earth (if that makes sense). Taste - Rolls around the mouth very nicely. Well rounded flavor, deep, pleasant, smooth. Very enjoyable. Effect - When Sannie says "Stoned to the bone" he means it. It gets you stoned, really stoned in mind and body. It'll sit you down for a while.
