Greetings, Cannabis fans! I'm back and seeds are a sproutin'. I opened up my time capsule of a seeds stash, and chose strains by: 1. the kind of weed I think I've been missing and 2. the age of the seeds — The "youngest" seeds I have are over 4 years old. So far I started: 10 Holy Princess (all popped, but one committed suicide by jumping from my hands when I was planting it in media, and likely fell through a wormhole and is now in another galexy) 5 Cheeseberry — this was half a pack, leftover from a pack I bought around 2012. All popped. 10 Nepalma — so far, 7 have popped, one committed suicide, like the missing HP, two more are left that I still haven't given up on. 2 Shackzilla — 2 left from a 5 pack I bought in 2012, both popped. 5 Sweet Spot — This is a Santero creation (line 4.3) that was produced in February of 2014. All popped. 5 God Bud (JOTI) — I had these since about 2013, never tried them. I need an indica in the grow, and may add a few from Indican, that he sent me about 4 or 5 years ago. 2 Willie Nelson — These are the oldest. They are Reeferman's original WN — the stuff that takes 18 weeks in flower — and I purchase them before Reeferman's total meltdown, but that still makes them around 9 years old! So far, neither one has popped. I don't expect them to, but I had to give them a shot. When I grew them in the past, they took 4 days after soaking to pop, which is rather long. It's now been three days — I'll give them through the weekend. The HP and Shackzilla are two strains I feel I've been "missing," even though I never actually tried HP. The description's final words, "Like red fruits on speed," made me realize I miss racy weed. Shackzilla is a longer-flowering sativa dom, which you just can't get commercially in dispensaries. The WN is one of the speediest weeds I've ever smoked, plus, it's ancient and I need to see if it's still alive. The Nepalma was put in there because I feel I'm missing Nepalese hash, or something remotely related to it. I realize it's a hybrid. I also never grew a USC strain. Cheese Berry has an exquisite body buzz, plus it's pretty damned old. Santero's sweet spot is in there because… because. I'm always harkening back to days of popping Esko strains, and this remix of some Esko work just might be fun. God Bud is in there because JOTI does have a talent for indicas, and I always wanted to try it. Also, it's about 5 years old. What didn't make it this time? Smilestyle's Lemon Thai F3. I started thinking I was too sativa heavy, and since these are relatively young seeds I don't expect to be keeping any males, but who knows. Madmaster lives nearby, and he said something about doing an open pollination with the HP, but I might just hold onto the males and cross them with the best female I find. The "grow room," or grow region, as it is in this house, is still under construction. I have so many options that I've never had before in my infamous attic grow, that it might be a while before I'm satisfied with it. Yak atcha later, ladies and gents.

I had two Shackzilla seeds left over from a pack I bought back in 2011 or 2012 and started them a few weeks ago. One of them seems to have the telltale sign that it will have colorful buds. I had no idea there were colorful phenos. Sure hope she measures up the the green Shackzillas that I've grown in the past! Not quite as obvious in the pick as it is in person (or "in plant"), but the growing tip has a reddish hue to it, like every Sannie seedling that has colorful buds that I've ever grown.

Hi fellow open growers, I got an early christmas present this year, and couldn't wait to try them. The New blue diesel was planted one day earlier, and was above the soil after two days. The other ones took a litlle longer. I noticed that the first leafs of the Shackzilla were much narrower then on the other two plants, at the time of birth. I see on the labels that the Diesel and the Shack are feminised. I read that the Sugarpunch and Shackzilla have SuperSilverHaze in them, I couldn't be more happier with that. They will be in a small cabin with a 250HPS, nothing spectacular. But I might take clones for next year's outdoor season if I like the result. Meanwhile in the living room: Bye, FOTH

Hello Everyone, Well, after having a very successful Jackberry run with 2 moms for over a year, and some shitty (my fault) cheeseberry my ADD got the best of me this summer and I spaced out on watering during a heat wave. Lost 4 moms and a run of 12 plants. But that was a couple of months ago now and its time to get back in the game. Armed with a nice order from Sannie of Jackberry and Shackzilla, with some blue rocket freebees. I am starting out with 5 each shackzilla and jackberry. I put them into peat pucks on Monday and I am happy to report all 10 seeds popped and gave me nice little seedlings. I had them under a weak lamp at first, so the shacks which popped first stretched a little, but its all good. I'm going to give them till next friday, and 3 shack and 2 jackberry will be going directly into 12/12. The remaining 2 shacks will be planted in dirt to keep as moms. The 3 remaining jackberry will be vegged for 4 weeks. Not sure how Im going to handle that yet. They have to go into 3 inch net cups next, so im thinking maybe suspend a net cup over a container? not sure. I am trying something new. I usually run in 5 quart hempys with all perlite. I'm going to try and run this one in DWC bubbler. I made a 6 site 10 gallon rubbermaid container and have a tetra 60 fishtank pump and air stone. I will be using Blue Planet's 2 part. Wish me luck DB

Hi, I’ve got one Sannie’s Jack and one Shackzilla going into week 8 of flowering (thanks Sannie!). It’s an all organic soil grow and I’ve been happy with the grow so far. Just figured I would share. Any repeat growers out there? Any tips and tricks for these 2 Sannie strains as they get into their final weeks? Any observations? Shackzilla (at least mine) looks like it’ll easily go 11 weeks. Interestingly, the Jack “looks” like it’s finishing sooner (not according to the microscope though). Do they like the molasses treatment? Do they like the 48 hour darkness treatment at the end? Would be interested in hearing your experience with these 2 neat strains. By the way, Shackzilla smells Wow! Going into week 8, first pic is Jack, second is Shack.

Hello Opengrow, after mostly lurking for the past months I wanted to share some pictures from my current grow to gain some advice and share some insights with the community. It's 20 plants under 600w on 1.2 sqm, I know it's too much, I will put less next time. I say that every time 3x KF#7 (all phenos are own selections) 2x KF#11 1x KF#5 2x Shackzilla 1x Kali Snapple x SSH (sativa leaning pheno) 2x D's Jack (mystery Sannie's Jack cross) 3x Chocolate Cheese#3 2x Chocolate Cheese#1 4x Sugar Punch Chocolate Cheese, KF#11 and Kali Snapple x SSH are new this round and I am quite excited about all of them. CC seems to be quite sensitive to nutes and KSSSH surprised me by growing quite stout compared to Shackzilla. Day 7 D's Jack left, Chocolate Cheese right Chocolate Cheese left, Sugar Punch right D's Jack and KF in the back not such a good picture but I wanted to show the enormous growth of the past days D's Jack and CC 13 days of flower Whole tent 16 days of flower Killing Fields and D's Jack 16 days of flower from left to right D's Jack, Sugar Punch, Chocolate Cheese 16 days of flower D's Jack, Sugar Punch, CC day 16 of flower I use RFX and think that my plants would benefit from mixing it 50/50 with Gordan Growcubes to lower the sponge effect a bit. RFX seems to hold a lot of solution due to the higher amount of foam, however, I am still impressed with the plant's perfomance. Have a good week and stay safe. Luma

Hi OG, I have a question, I have 5 plants from Sannies FEM pack. But it looks like (im certain) that Shackzilla is a male. How is that possible? They are 1 week in flo in 18 liter pots. They have a veg time about 4 weeks and flo. Can somebody clear this up for me? I'm really disappointed, because i choose for the FEM pack so i just know that i have 5 female plants. Sorry for my poor english and the bad picture quality, my battery from my camera is charging right now. Sunnyvale

Hello OG! My 1st half diary here. Grow report not started since begining because i lost labels on pots and had issues with my camera. Pots are 20 liters and soil mix is Gold Label Special mix Light + Sannies buffer tabs, mycorizzae and bacto. All seeds are sprouted over 10 days period and i gave them little BioBizz root juice. Bacto added every week together with worm castings tea + little Sea Kelp and Fish emulsion 2-2-2. Sprayed them foliar until beginning of flowering with Algae. Since i was very curious about different fertilisers im adding since 12/12 flip on half plants Biocanna Bloom and Bio Boost +Rhizoactive and on other half plants im going with Biobizz half recommend dosage. Got some light fingertips burn on some plants which i gave Bio Canna. Overall im very satisfied from last grow when i used Biobizz ferts..yield is not big as with mineral ferts but oh man taste and potency is beyond any expectation and i warmly recommending every one switching to organic. However as i said i lost my marked plant labels and since im newbie grower i cannot recognize from structure and phenotype or smell.. For sure i can recognise Sugar Punch 100% without any mistakes, and Choco Rain because brown color and DJ Short famous Kush claw trait. But nothing else..even im not sure what plant is Heri because that plant which i think is Heri look very similar with CR or CC plants.. Maybe later when they become more ripe i can recognize them more but for now im not sure. Strains suppose to be: 2x Sannie's Jack- one failed germination 2x Shackzilla 2xSugar Punch 2xChoco Rain 1xHerijuana 1xChocolate Cheese I have one hermie either CR or C.cheese, not sure which. Grow Tent is Homelab 120x120 with more than sufficient ventilation and average temperature of 26 celsius. Humidity is 60% in veg and slowly decreasing untill half bloom and now is 40%. Some of them are at end of week 4 and some one week later, week 5 bloom. Veged under 250 MH and 2x150 led by Hans. First 2 week since 12/12 flip i keep them under 400 hps and when they begin to stretch and throwing flowers i switched to Gavita 600. I have 7 plants in grow box and 2 other plants under 2x150 LED in separate flower area. Those picture with too many plants is just for demonstration purpose. I guess those two under LED are maybe Shackzilla... Lucky or not until now i dont have any issue.. Other than those hermie or maybe was male in fem package. Seem like buffer tabs working flawlessly. I will keep using them thats sure 100%. Thank You for any comment and if you recognize some plant please name it, there is numbers on every picture. Sorry for average photo quality. Take care and spread love. p.s Pictures coming in next few min, just to sort out.

Hey guy. Can anyone drop any info on how strong these two strains smell during the life of them? l am doing them and l'm noticing that they are stronger smell than the Hercules l had. Hercules barely smelled at all. l'm enjoying the smell though. Very old school.

I don't normally drink coffee, but when I do, my mind starts racin like a motha fucka. I've never bred before but it's something I feel passionate about and really want to get into, unfortunately I lack lights, space, along with plant limitations that make this extremely difficult. However its almost spring so I'm thinking I can maybe make a seperate breeding chamber outside, although the conditions out here in the PNW are pretty harsh for growing cannibus (last year a crazy windstorm tore apart the hoop house I built and had all sorts of problems). I'm assuming though I can get some seeds before the crazy late fall weather hits. Here's my vision. I'm looking at a (hammerhead or hammer of dawn) x (killing fields) x Shackzilla The purpose of the first is too add some nice colors and sativa influence to the hammer line, as well as knock up the potency and flavor to the killing fields, finding the perfect happy medium. Something that gives a noticeable body high but enough clear cerebral engergy not to induce insomnia an creative. As an artist who is always creating things, this is what I look for in most of strains (I also have insomnia so I also like to have a super heavy indica on deck....thats a little off topic though.....) Next we add the shackzilla (I'm thinking I might replace this with drizellaxms universe though and select a universe dominate with purple hues to further solidify the purple I'm looking for) for more hazy sativa influences along with that nice and potent shack funk, probably leaning towards a SSH dominate pheno. I only have 2 feminized shackzilla though so hopefully I will find what I'm looking for in those. First question, is there cons to breeding feminized seeds? I'm all about reg seeds now but when I was first starting out I couldnt see any other option than fem. I'll have to order the rest of the strains so that shouldn't be a problem. I'm planning on putting starting in my aero cloner, then putting all outside, then moving certain plants together I want breeding in an open polination or either isolating the male, collecting pollen, than brushing it on the females (or maybe shackzilla feminized?) Any tips or suggestions on methods or crosses? Dos or Don'ts? I'm kinda unfamiliar with creating stabalized strains and what not, right now it seems the killing fields are in the F4, which to my understanding would mean alot of variety, especially when I want to cross them with other strains (I'm guessing most of what I mention are F2s?). Does this mean I should backcross the killing fields first to stablize the pheno I want before I go further? So the final goal will be a fruity/hazey/funky tasting 70-90/10-30 sativ dom purplely green blue hybrid with a nice underbody high to keep the mind calm while focused and creative. Thanks for stopping by!

Greetings fellow cultivators! 2 Cabs, 7 Strains. Both cabs with 330w CMH. 3 Feminized, 4 regular. If males, then pollen collecting/chucking is planned. Ok so here's the deal. I started with popping: -5 Holy Princess (Santa Maria x C99 freebies) - E$kob@r Seeds -2 C99xStrawberry Diesel Reg - Classic Seeds -1 Urban Menace ((Jack Frost x Fast Thai x (NL#1xThai)) Fem - Classic Seeds -1 Cin City (C99 F2 x Soma NYCD) Fem - Classic Seeds -1 Frost Berry Chem (Classic Jack Frost x P.O.A.) x (Classic Strawberry Diesel x Alphadog) Fem - Classic Seeds Only 2/5 Holy Princess sprouted, so they were replaced with: -1 Shackzilla Fem - Sannie's Seeds -1 Killing Fields F4 Reg - Sannie's Seeds The killing fields is there, because I couldn't help myself. It's a Sannie staple strain I haven't seen grow yet so even if it's male, I'm sure I can make use of the pollen, say...by dusting Shackzilla? I just ran my first Shackzilla, but pitifully. I aim to do it justice this time...as the high is amazing, and I'll need to replenish!!! So all is going okay, except one of the two HP is stunted somehow and has frozen in time after about the second day after it sprouted. I think the seeds were quite old, as the germ rate was bad...I really hope it springs back with love and care, because I REALLY was hoping to get lucky and make more HP seeds hehehe. Also...I will never start seedlings under fluorescent lights. They will always germ under the CMH, or whatever HID they are going to veg under. When that's the first light source they experience, they don't have a standard to react to, so they just do whatever to survive, without realizing it. But I swear, when they first feel a nice, clean, easy to absorb weaker light source, they like relax or something, then shit their pants and panic, while burning the wilting while they readjust and realize what "light" actually is!!! Both Frost Berry Chem and the Cin City had this light stress effect. The new seedlings all across the board are simply eating the light up! So yeah... I'm excited to give Classic Seeds a go, opinions seem to vary to a great extent of his work or words, but I have faith, my instincts tell me he's legit, and I guess the proof will be in the pudding! Basically this will be my first attempt at making some seeds too, so hopefully that will be a success if the opportunity presents itself! =D Without further ado, it begins: Various Days of Seedlings (Also a C99 Clone/mother that just won't fully revert and is shooting pistils like crazy...

Hi, I'm a noob. And I just did what I shouldn't have done. My sannies order came today, couldn't resist.... I was a little surprised to see sugar punch instead of herijuana (since herijuana was on the list not sugar punch when I ordered lmao) and was hoping for the katsu kush x Sannies jack (especially since I havn't seen any grow reports of it yes so wanted to be that bad ass mutha fucka who contributed to Sannies testing (and grabbed some exclusive dank why at it). Although now I think I'm glad I got the sugar punch (since its a strain I've been drooling over for awhile now) and the Chocolate Cheese (now I have it all, a hybrid, an indica in my garden, and a strain from the Mr. Legendary E$kobar I keep hearing so much shit about. Cheeseberry Haze looks more appealing to me (remember I love hazes) but often times in life I find myself loving what I initially thought I wouldn't be into (hi Vladimir!). Anyways time to check this E$ko guy out (well not yet, but soon......). I popped 4 more seeds, 2 Shackzillas, 2 Killing Fields. Okay lets rewind this back a little. But before that I'd like to give a special thanks to Stinkbud, Letdown Shifty, and all the other Stinkbuddies at rollitup who have walked me very patiently and wisely through the steps. Yall made this possible, may the rest of your days be blessed. It all started with some seeds, clones, power outages (one lasted 5 days where I would barely slept spraying my plants every 5-30 min), and a noob. By noob I mean someone who continuously tripped over timer plugs, forgetting to replug timers, ph of 8+, and alot of dead plants (dead plants everywhere, I'm sorry to all you lovely ladies I fucked). A few months here I am, with 2 lone survivors (you bad ass mother fuckers you). One is a freebie I got from attitude, DNA's Andromonia and a green crack I got from my local dispensary (thank you to the cute girl who recommended it to me). Both of which went dormant during flowering cause my room was at about 40-50 degrees (lol......) Finally got that taken care of and now things are almost in full flow, except I'm now in another dilemma brought on by my noobness. Maybe you guys can help me sort through this mess. I have 2 reses in a 5x10x6 grow tent, one for longer sativa flowering strains (hazes are my favorite), one for indicas and hybrids. 1 side has a 1000w HPS, the other a 600w HPS and a 320 Lumigro LED. I put in 4 plants into flower, hoping 4 of the other 5 I was vegging would be ready at the same time. False. 4 grew hella fast, 4 slow (2 weeks into flower of first 4, other 4 still not ready, (which really sucks cause I'm out of my time frame to have them both harvest round same time), and 1 hellllla slow. We use the word hella alot out here in WA..... Andromia looks about halfway done, green crack has barely started flower. This leaves me too long a period to keep veggin these 4, and too short to throw them in the other res with the other 4. Right now I'm planning on moving green crack to other res right before I start flushing, harvest andromia, and use that to flower upcoming plants. Shits a mess though. To make it worse I have to decide what to do with these sativas of sannies I just popped, which brings me to my other problem. Besides my new seeds from sannies, I have no other long flower types, which means it looks like I'll be working with another half rez......(prays to the clone provider gods) Shits gonna be a challenge for sure Anyways lets get on with some pictures and sort this shit out as time goes on. Clones are under 250 CFL Veg unit is 8 fixture T5s (50ish something I think? idk T5 units are weird). I'm using basically advanced botinacare formula. The Andromia Res 2 canopy ~week 2 I'll post more pictures later. Also feel free to comment or w/e.

Yo, I started 10 of sannies Shackzilla seeds under a 55watt grow light some time ago. They are growing on Sannies products and Biobizz nutes. 27 Nov. Transplanting 30 Nov, changed the 55watt light to a 150watt grow bulb. This is how they look today. Soon I will transplant 4 of them to 30liter pots the other 4 are moving to a friend. I will put them in a 1,50 x 1,50 grow room with a gavita pro 1000 watt hps light. How long do you guys think i have to keep them on 18/6 to get the sreen full? And at what height should i attach the screen? The tent is 2m heigh. I'ts my first Scrog grow so in can use some help.. Also i plan to cut the top branch after the 5th internode so the lower branches will come up some more. Laterr

Completed Grow: Shackzilla, Kolossus, Jackberry X Mad Scientist
Link420 posted a topic in Micro-Fluo
Usually I grow in a bigger tent with 600w HPS, but this time I had to scale down and do a straight T5 mini grow. 120 X 60 cm Dark Room Starlight T5 220w GHE Flora Series, Useless Formula Plagron Growmix Substrate The goal was to keep the plants short, so the girls got a short veg time and were kept in the (too) small pots until the stretch was over. This worked in keeping them short, but probably reduced the yield quiet a bit. I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking: Week 4-5 (actual flowering) Jackberry X Mad Scientist Kolossus Shackzilla Week 6-7 (actual flowering) Jackberry X Mad Scientist Shackzilla Week 7-8 (actual flowering) Shackzilla Week 9 (actual flowering), Jackberry X Mad Scientist @ harvest The other JB X MS pheno- 23 replies

It's been a year now since I grew a Sannie strain, so I thought I'd fix that. I've wanted to grow Shackzilla since trying a friend's efforts. He's pretty much a newbie and produced some excellent weed. Last weekend I started soaking two seeds. I grew one KF plant once, so after this grow I will be able to say I grew one KF plant twice. One fem seed germed with the Shz. Mrs. Dirt requires an indica dom for insomniac purposes, so one Mad Scientist fem was sprouted as well. I believe Mad Sci. is Knutsel's work, but I might be wrong. Looking at three fem sativa doms and one indica dom made me want to fill in the gap between them with one of my favorite hybrids, Esko's Chocolate Cheese. I had six seeds left, now I have six seedlings. Hopefully, one will be a mom I keep for a while. I'll start posting pics when there is something worth looking at. All seeds were received by me from the shop or Esko about a year and a half ago, or more. 100% germination. The Shackzillas took almost a week to sprout, the others took about a day or two. One freak Chocolate Cheese has only one cotyledon. If this seriously slows growth, it might be culled. More to come over the next few months.

Hello all, This is my second grow. Just figured I would start posting my progress so you could all follow along. I know everyone here loves photos so I took some to post up. Nothing exciting yet, just vegging away. Have 2 Kolosuss, 2 Shackzilla, 1 Barneys Farm G13 haze and 1 Reserva Privada Kandy Kush. The Kolossus and Shack are doing a side by side grow, one each is in a normal pot and 1 in a smartpot to see if there is any difference in the final outcome. Well enough flapping away about boring stuff, here are the pics so far. Feel free to rip me apart, any comments are welcome as they will just help me learn. Thanks Kolossus #1 Kolossus #2 Shack #1 Shack #2 Kandy kush ( a small amount of nute burn, which I have stopped nutes and just gone to straight water) The whole grow this time thru... 2 kolossus front left and front middle, shack are the front right and back right, Kandy kush is back left and G13 haze is the stumpy one in the middle back.
