  2. Ayo. Seems like the this website and forums got the internet on steroids treatment (thanks sannie, absolutely killed the website, if I didnt know so much I'd tell you you were lying to me you were a breeder and not a web designer) It's been awhile so I'll leave out most of my missing life link. New new and gone old old. Continuously stabilizing my life, living now with a girlie whose almost if not more batshit crazy then I am. Bout to take a big dive in this plant, starting my breeding project, started reading/researching extracts and cooking which I really want to get into next.. bout to build a new grow room for my breeding chamber that I'll post and prolly see if any of the vets got some advice on my blueprint. For now let's have some pics do some talking for my plans and we'll slowly add some history flashbacks. This is just what went done, stay tuned. Mouse
  3. Ok, I've been waiting a long time to do a report on this strain, but I also wanted to wait for at least four months to let it get a really good cure berfore making any assumptions. I saved two jar just for this purpose, they haven't been opened since before Christmas... and let me tell you something, as soon as I took the rings off of the Kerr jars the lids blew off with a little bit of force and now my WHOLE house smells of spicey-Thai Blueberry weed. This smoke report is on two different Blueberry Sativa phenos that I got: My BBS#1 has more blueberry smell and flavor than the vast majority of ALL BB strains I know of or have ever grown. She was a 6' tall beauty of dark green with a Christmas tree structure covered with buds frome head to toe emitting a moderate toxic blueberry fragrance. My BBS#2 was a tall, slender Thai-Blueberry lady that was also Christmas tree shaped, but a little more lanky. This one was budding same as her sister, but had that distinct, slightly pungent, spicey-Thai smell... seems a lot of my friends either don't know or don't remember what Thai smells like. Blueberry Sativa #1 Smell: This pheno is heavy on the berry and it has a lot of subtle, earthy tones with a sour note to finish. Taste: This definitely has a stronger blueberry flavor than most strains. It has a fruity essence, but the BB powers it's way through on the inhale; the exhale is all about a skunky-berryish flavor ending with a tartness on the tip of the tongue. Incredible flavor! Effect: This strain is an excellent choice as a morning/daytime smoke... goes very well with coffee and one good smoking session will do you 'til lunch. After a few hits I was feeling great, every hit leaves a good taste in your mouth all the way through. When the little voice in your head tells you to stop and you 'just take a few more hits'... you're gonna be really stoned, but there is really no 'couch lock' to speak of, although you may be moving more slowly for a while. This strain will make shitty coffee taste much better as well. This is my wifes favorite smoke... it chills her out, but it makes her horny too.... thanks E$ko!! Blueberry Sativa #2 Thai-berry pheno Smell: Sweet, spicey-Thai followed by a faint musky berry with some fruity tones mixed in. This pheno has the unmistakeable smell of Thai w/berry. I love it, its a very refreshing change of pace for me. Taste: Subtle blueberry flavor infused with a spicey Thai. The Thai flavor on the exhale is more pronounced than the berry is on the inhale. There are musky, earthy-sweet, floral accents to be found in this pheno as well. A well rounded smoke with many different flavors to enjoy. Effect: This strain is one of the true daytime smokes, with a very mellow, yet up beat high. The high lasts me for many hours and leaves that great Thai-berry flavor behind with every hit.... this strain makes those with bad breath much more tolerable to be around. I can smoke a bowl or two, get my head straight and still be coherent enough to go about my day feeling happy and wearing a big smile. The Thai in this pheno is no joke, excessive smoking may lead to taking a nap... stop when you are stoned. This pheno, same as her sister, seems to have no couck lock to it, but then again, I do have a very high tolerance to most strains. I have noticed no couch lock in these strains when my wife or my friends have been smoking it. But don't go crazy with it... just because its a sativa doesn't mean it can't fuck you up. This is good time weed... relax and enjoy yourself. This pheno is my favorite of the two. Thanks go to E$kob@r for creating this awesome blueberry strain... perhaps one day you will release this strain again.... I know my fingers are crossed. Keep it green Brothers! DesertGrown
  4. I will be going to Amsterdam soon and have a friend who has very bad Anxiety(alot of Paranoia) and depression who is thinking to try cannabis to help with it. I'm guessing he should avoid Strong Sativa and go with most Indica dominant. Are there any users here who have anxiety? perhaps you can suggest some strains. Perhaps a happy uplifting strain for the depression and a slowing down strain for Anxiety?
  5. Hey, I was wondering whether someone has any experience with fuma con dios or Kerala Krush? As far as I know the flying dutchmen had some solid oldschool genetics, but did they keep up the quality? Always heard their haze was the closest to the "original haze" genetics if there is/was one true haze.
  6. A lot of people are growing seeds from Sannie on this site. I would like to hear your strain recommendations. I use cannabis for pain relief. I have an adult form of muscular dystrophy. I like to be productive and mentally sharp during the day. Evenings are more for relaxation and recreation. Please make up to four recommendations. What is the best day-time indica? What is the best night-time indica? Best day time sativa? Does Sannie have a night-time sativa? If so, name it. Otherwise, recommend something other than the best day time variety. Thanks in advance.
  7. My first grow is evolving into a plan for a continual harvest, rather than bigger batch harvests. I medicate for pain. But i appreciate having choices. So i want to have both indicas and sativas. But, in order to keep things manageable, I want the sativas and the indicas to both have the same characteristics. I want them to be short and bushy, and I am looking for varieties that mature in roughly 8 weeks. Define 'roughly': 7-9 weeks. Would I consider 8-10? Well, if i define it narrowly,I say no, because 8-10 is beyond 7-9. However, if you want to share varieties that mature in more than 63 days, go for it. But for the sake of discussion, name the variety (sativas, or blends with lots of sativa characteristics of the high) and the flowering range. To sum up. I am looking for sativas that look indican. I don't care so much about leaf differences. Just the overall form of the plant. Sativa runts. Before i found this community i already owned my seeds. I bought a few auto flowers which i am growing out now. But i also bought some photo-period seeds. Of those, i have three varieties. Two of them are sativas that flower within the range i am describing. One is harlequin. Harlequin, as described by the source of these seeds. Type: Sativa Flowering Time: 8-9 weeks Yield: Good Potency: High 9.1% cbd – 6.5% t Genetics: Columbian Gold, Nepali Indica, Thai and Swiss landraces Seeds: Feminized It is definitely within this flowering range. But, I don't know. I may be in for a tall plant. My other variety is AK 47. I had a different source for these seeds. But this is a pretty famous strain. Here is what the source for this variety claims: Plant type Feminized Sativa or Indica 35% - 65% Sativa dominant THC Level Very high at 20% CBD (Medical) Medium Height Compact (50/80 cm - 19"/32") Yield High (±500gr/m² - ±18 oz/3ft²) Flowering period Average (64 days) Climate Average / land climate Good for Indoor, Medical, Beginner I wil point out that I bought these seeds before i started this discussion. 64 days is an exception to my 63 day rule. But no range is given. So i am using this as an example. Thoughts? But more importantly. Any recommendations? p.s. Yield is kind of important.
  8. I have a patient I will be making meds for who is bi-polar. I've put this person on CBD, it seems to make some of the issues more pronounced, not the mental but physical symptoms. Does real well on THC indica for evening and some day use. Not a smoker. Too many allergies to use medibles yet, until I am able to work something up, I am going with pure herb products. I have discussed this with someone briefly who is bi-polar but would like to touch base with anyone who might have more experience. I don't want to set this patient off into a mania phase. The idea is to use say a ratio of two parts sativa to one part indica. By adding the indica it is suppose to avoid the possibility of setting the mania phase off. First patient I have that CBD sets off other things. I know some of this is head issues, this is going to be a challenge with all the issues. Patient has made a lot of changes in their life and has worked hard to get where they are. I am hoping to get them off some of the opiates, as they want to also, and the night sleep meds. Plan is THC oil in the evening, tolerates this very well. Sativa herbal caps with some indica, ratio of 2:1, not sure on the dosing I should do on this yet. Perhaps a 20mg sativa with 10mg indica, or maybe a bit less indica. Any advice is surely welcome!
  9. all the girls i put in this same soil mix have had the same problems. my apologize to the usc guys for my stonerdom making some beautiful genetics look a lot less awesome than they should. day 97. still a few clear triches. no amber. i think 10 ish days to cut. take a step back to show the rest of the room. also to show i can make a batch of soil that's not toxic to plants. back-side of a chocolate rain front n center with a c99 on each side. keep the dream green, d o g

  13. Greetings from India. I'm at about 18-21 N, 70-73 E It is my first inddor grow ever to be successful (hopefully), as i finally feel I have ironed out all of the problems I was facing earlier. I have grown massive trees of indian landraces and much tinier trees of seeds from mandala, dinafem, mr.nice and nirvana, but once moving to a new city with less outdoor space and a much warmer and significantly more humid climate, things were difficult. I have now managed to sort everything out. So here's the information: Medium : Coco based organic medium, organic additives include the easily available ones, like neem cake, pongamia cake, cottonseed cake, karanja cake, EWC. I also have cow manure to use if necessary, as well as bone meal. Other medium additives: I have ordered my beneficial bacteria and fungi (trichoderma (viride and harzanium), mycorrhizae (Ventricular Arbuscular Mycorrhizae), Pseudomonas Florescens and Beauvaria Bassiana. The first two are well known as being effective in preventing harmful bacterial/fungal growth, everyone knows myco, psuedomonas florescens is another fairly general bio-pesticide and Beauvaria Bassiana is a insecticidal virus (parasitic) that infects nearly any arthropod that comes into contact with it's spores, or any arthropod that comes into contact with an infected arthopod. It is a pretty cool little thing that is vicious against pests (and, unfortunately, probably many beneficial bugs). Growing space: Here's the crazy part - I have about 7.5 sq metre/80 sq feet (9x9) of flowering space and about 1.8 sq metres/ 20 sq feet (10x2) of veg space. they are both separated by a sliding door and are light proof. room walls are flat white - no mylar here as far as i know lighting (veg) - ~90w of T5 tube lights as well as 400w HPS, soon to be more when i choose a mother plant lighting (flowering) - The largest size ballast available in this country are 400w Magnetic Ballasts. So I have a setup whereby I can accommodate upto 6 x 400w HPS bulbs, but as of now, I have only 2 set up. Intake: Passive through a straight, unbending, hard 6" wide plumbing tube that's pulling air from outside Exhuast: Massive exhaust fan that's pushing air outside. I don't remmeber the CFM/CMH of the fan but the air in the room is exchanged every 2-3 min. strains: 5 x 8 miles high (mandala seeds, regular) 5 x thc bomb (bomb seeds, regular) I have 5 more of each left, we'll see how things go (i number the days with roman numerals until the seeds break the soil's surface as it is just how i like to do things) day i: seeds sowed in sannie's spongepots, watered with bacto, waiting to break surface! Pictures soon folks!

  15. American Slang, VinTor x (Cocoa Kush x NYCD). Sativa leaning hybrids. I'd easily say 80% + sativa in this cross. I like! After a couple years of 'trying' to get it right, I finally feel that I've developed a personal strain that has some definite medical qualities in it.... mainly reducing muscle pain/nerve pain as well as giving the user a cool stone. I called this strain American Slang in a very strange, heavy sativa induced daydream I had one day... and I remembered the dream, which is also strange... so I kept the name. In this smoke report we have three totally different phenos to discuss; A.S. #1, A.S. #3 & A.S. #5. I can only do small-batch grows where I live right now, not everyone is cool with growing/smoking pot here. I planted 6 seeds and all six germinated, I got 2 males and 4 females... the males didn't have "the look" and were culled, the females were all kept, but Milo ate one of the seedlings. Milo is my little dog, he's a extremely chill, one-eyed dog with a ton of heart. I ended up with three totally different phenos of this cross. Again, I don't have any fresh budshots of these,(I'm good with plants, not taking pics), but I do have some pics of when they were growing that I'll show. American Slang #1 Smell: Clear lemon at first, then a distinct 'powdered lemonade drink mix'... like CountryTime. Smells really good.. almost mouthwatering! Taste: Dry hit; tastes like citrus/lemon peel zest, kind of bitter to the tongue. Smoked; tastes like lemon zest with a sweet mellow diesel flavor all the way through. Effect: Clear head high that moves slowly down the body. I get a 'tingling' sensation that creeps down my body dulling any pain I may have... very nice feeling! This pheno lends a mellow, very calming stone along with good pain numbing qualities, it's also got that 'awake' feeling to it which gives it an "up" high in small doses. I would say a bowl, (perhaps two for those with a higher tolerance) and the effects can be felt right away... if too much is consumed, then you may be in slow-motion for a bit, otherwise, it's a good daytime smoke. American Slang #3 Smell: Honey-lemon cough drop w/mild diesel undertones. A very fresh, clean smell... with a bite to it. Taste: Dry hit; has pronounced honey-lemon cough drop flavor with a very mild, almost menthol-diesel aftertaste. Smoked; has a mild menthol lemon on the inhale, with an almost eucalyptus-diesel on the exhale... strange flavor, but I like it. Effect: Very clear, up head & body high. Very relaxing stoneThis pheno works well for nerve pain/muscle tension. I have a friend who suffers from neuropathy in his legs/feet due to diabetes. He doesn't mind getting high as long as it dulls the pain. I've smoked heavyweight indicas with him and he gets super stoned, but this does nothing for his particular pain. When I loaded a bowl of this and passed it to him, he took a couple of good hits and gets this strange look on his face... he tells me "the pain is gone, the pain in my legs & feet is gone!" It makes me feel good to know that I grew something that really helped someone else. This works for my pain(nerve/muscle) as well as another friend who experiences diabetic pain. I will be working with this pheno in the future, most definitely. American Slang #5 Smell: Mild pine-sol diesel w/clear lemon/citrus undertones. Taste: Dry hit; gives a lemon zest/diesel, complex flavor. Smoked; Tastes like earthy-pine diesel on the inhale and a hashy lemon-pine with a pronounced diesel flavor on the ex. Effect: Makes my mouth water a little(literally) with each hit. Clear sativa high at first, settling into a more sedating type of high... somewhat numbing. Big hits can result in "staggering" or even "blackout" head rushes along with a sometimes overwhelming flavor of diesel in your mouth. Has definite pain killing, medicinal qualities to it. This may be too stoney to be considered a good daytime smoke. All in all, I learned a lot from growing these three, totally different phenos. All were very sativa leaning this go around, I'll be keeping an eye out for a more indica leaning pheno next time. I plan to explore all phenos of this cross and keep only the best in my stable. Thanks for reading this LONG smoke report. Took most of a day to complete this report... waited for the effects of each individual session to completely disappear before moving on to the next pheno... wanted to give an honest report on all phenos represented here. Enjoy your day! DesertGrown

  19. As the topic suggests, I'm growing out some malawi gold, it's said to be a 100% landrace Sativa, produced by Holy Smoke. I'm around week 4 of flower, had an insane stretch, and is slowly growing. I'm not having any issues with the plant, but I can tell it's going to be a really long bloom time. Anyone else grow this and can give me an idea on flower time? It stretched for 3 weeks after 12/12, so I'm expecting a 12-14 week, maybe longer bloom time. I put her in 12/12 around 16" tall and now she stands 5' from the top of the pot. If I weren't growing vertically I would have some problems, as I have 2" of headroom left. Fortunately stretch has stopped and she's putting out buds slowly. Whats the soonest you could theoretically chop this? I have clones of it in bloom also I'm going to experiment with, and this plant is huge and takes up a big part of my room.
