Hi All I thought I'd start a collection of stealth grows so new growers can find them easily, the idea being to help those who would like to grow but are too worried about the consequences of others finding out that they're growing get their toes in the water so to speak I hope y'all will post your stealth grows here as well. here's the last cab I used, ran it for a bit over 2 years, no Idea how much weed I grew in it, it was several pounds though. I use a simple tray made outta hardware cloth and nylons to hold just over a pound (a half kilo) of activated charcoal for a scrubber, works much better than I expected, needs to be changed every six months, and all together cost just over $100 less than a can filter. Don't ya just love my high tech fasteners I was finally able to master the heat by separating my LED's from the bud area with this chunk of plywood, while the LED's produce less heat than CFLs, the way the cooling fans pull air from the top and blow it out the sides makes cooling a major pain in a short cab. Everything is wired inside steel boxes, safety first. all my fans run off a 12v adapter, went with tri-cools so I'd have a bit of control over fan speed but they're too loud on anything but low so it didn't help much. the inside dimensions are 26" wide by 12 1/2 inches deep, by 21 inches high, (65cm X31.25cm x 52.5cm) a tad cramped, but it keeps me and my worms pretty high just the one plant in flower at the moment, Beanho's Haze Hybrid Mix, as you can see it's worth 2 bucks a seed, sorry for the crappy pics. As you can see it grew great weed I've got a couple more, I'll post them later. y'all stay safe BalzOut

Decided to purchase the Yielder Max and give this a go, here are some specs and pics of the grow box: 12 Plant Main Area (3 foot tall or more since plants bend) 14 Plant Chamber For Mid Sized Plants (8-12 inches tall or more since plants bend) 200w CFL Grow Lights (2700k Spectrum and 17,600 Lumens) 4" Duct Blower (170 CFM, 0.7 AMPS, 2.15"/w Static Pressure 10 Pounds and 1 Inch Carbon Filter for Odor Control Hydro Cloner & Reservoir - 6w air pump (.014 amps/71 gph), 12 gallon container, 3.75" net pots, 2 packs of 12 inch air stones, 3w air pump (.010 AMPS, 30 GPH), 3 gallon 2nd reservoir with 2" net pots and 2 packs of 12" air stones. Total System Power Usage is 2.7 AMPS Yielder Max weighs 162 lbs. 62.5" x 24" x 31" I also added the optional LED lights for the back sides of the box to get some light up along and under the canopy. I opted for the nute package they had which included the following: 1L CNS17 Grow 2L CNS17 Bloom 1L CNS17 Ripe 1L Cal-Mag Plus 1L Liquid Karma 1L Hydroplex 2L Sweet Raw 1L Silica Blast 2L Aqua Shield 1L Clearex To save power and reduce some of the heat I opted for LED main chamber lighting. Here are some specs on the Flip 360 LED grow light: 5w LEDs 110v/220v compatible 700mA 15 band light spectrum 72 Diodes 360watts (actual wattage 190watts) Runs at 75% for efficiency and extended life Able to daisy chain lights for larger grow applications Easy to use. Just flip a switch to go from veg to bloom When things finally take off and the yielding begins I have also purchased the Magic Herb Dryer to expedite and efficiently dry things before putting it in the air The space itself is ~4'3" wide x 4'10" deep x 8'4" tall. I installed the Eco heater on the wall and as of today the highest I recorded in the room was around 66 degrees F. I'm currently trying to get the following things resolved before things take off: - There is an issue with my billing and source of electricity, going to have to resolve this with some other parties before things can commence. - Need to insulate floor as I'd like my heater to work a little less harder to keep it at temp - Create a layer of sound insulation/dampening at the doorway to reduce some of the noises that may be generated I'll continue to update as things progress! Hello Opengrow. Just wanted to share my autos from my veggie garden with ya's. Had 3 out there. Seeds from joint Doctor. All germed. Good genetics. Best autos I have played with so far. Not the biggest yielders his Lowryders were alot bigger. But the Easy riders have a super nice fruity smell that the Lowryders lacked. Just for shits and giggles I put out 3 in my veg garden and kept one back under my T5's. The differences is unbelievable. No I didn't keep a runt back before ya ask. All looked normal when planted in there final spots. T5 plant ended at 8" the garden plants were all 26" 20" and 18"..CRAZY Buds are way different OD plants are loose and airy T5 hard as rocks. Also leaf and bud coloration is diffrent ID plant almost blue and the OD pale green. The plants in the garden do get a bit more shaded due to my tom's and all the other vegatation but still wouldnt have belived it had I not done the test for myself. Variable yes. but ya get the idea.Close enough. T5 rock. They are in there. Group shots OD single plants Flowers Here is the ID T5 plant. Very small and tight. Thats all folks. Comments questions all welcome here.
