  1. Yesterday, I picked up some Snow Cap from a local dispensary. I ran home, smoked a little bowl and was surprised that despite having a tolerance as a daily smoker this strain caught my attention even though I found an immature seed in the first bud I ground. I proceeded very cautiously with my second nug, and this time I had three beautiful, mature seeds. Currently, I have retrieved 13 seeds and I still have a few nice nugs. Anyway, I went back to the dispensary to see if, by chance, the owner may know (or be) the grower. Unfortunately, this didn't work out, as they were not familiar enough with the 'vendor' to know what they may have been breeding. Then Google only raises more questions as I see people saying that this strain is clone only and that only crossbred seeds are available. Clone only - Will somebody please explain this one to me? I've seen people arguing back and forth in forums about stressing to hermie for seeds, and some people argue that it will vary slightly, genetically speaking, from the mother plant. Aren't they just splitting hairs? Is that genetic variance going to be more pronounced than the natural variance between two plants of the same strain? Just curious as I seem to have seeds for a mystery cross with an elusive strain, unless the name was complete crap from the get go. Accidental repost. Unsure how to delete.

  3. So a question that has been asked many times. Here is the situation. My girlfriend is coming to India from UK and is more than willing to bring some beans with her. My budget is about £100. I am limited to attitude seedbank because she is simply too lazy to do bank transfer or cash in an envelope, or i'd have picked up 3 packs of killing fields But that being said and done, it gives me a chance to try different genetics. Here is what I was thinking of. I am not really looking at 'value for money' per se, but more value is always better than less value right? I would rather have more beans to pick out a good pheno, I don't see the point, given my setup, to pop 2 or 3 regular beans and pick a pheno from those...i'd take at least a minimum of 5 females to get a rough idea of what a strain is like...i guess... in no particular order... 1. DJ Short - vanilluana (reg) - £90 (this is an exception; it's DJ short, and if it's as legendary as it claims to be, no regrets) 2. Paradise Seeds - Spoetnik (reg) - £90 for 20 seeds 3. Mr. Nice - Ortega (reg) - £70 for 15 seeds 4. Mandala - Satori (reg) - £70 for 20 seeds 5. Bomb Seeds - THC bomb (reg) - £50 for 20 seeds 6. Dinafem - Sweet Deep Grapefruit (fem) - £50 for 10 seeds 7. Gage Green Genetics - Healing Fields (reg) - £70 for 10 seeds 8. Cali Connection - Tahoe OG Kush (reg) - £67 for 10 seeds any advice, fellow growers? anything I should be aware of that I am not? best vibes to all El Chupa
  4. Greetings again everybody! Over the past few months I have tried very hard produce various grow journals but have failed completion due to a very busy and complicated schedule and lack of "free time" I am hoping to free up some time over the next few months to show some of the little projects I get the pleasure of creating. In an attempt to make up for some previous incomplete journals, here is a peek of a little bit of testing with some new toys and design for you all to enjoy. Once again, all fruits of this labor of love are given away free of charge to those in need. My fee still remains the inner joy of growing and giving. First up, We have had a little room upgrade from a 4ft x 7ft (1.2x2.3x2.0) to a 5ft x 10ft (1.5x3.0x2.3) The tent on one side has a Gavita Pro 1000w DE and the other side a Dimlux 1000w DE. On the left half of the tent we have 4x Grateful Casey (Casey Jones) vegged 3 weeks. On the right of the tent we have 2x Super Critical (Critical Mass x White Widow) vegged 3 weeks. And on the right a C99 mother that has been heavily LST'd and put into flower. All of these ladies are in 8L Rocket Pots filled with Coco that has had Beneficial Fungi hand mixed in. The watering system is a Tropf Blumat system using an elevated control tank. Some lovely root mounding. The Blumat system is using a control tank to maintain consistent pressure. It is simply a reservoir pumping water up to smaller shelved reservoir and overflowing back down to the main reservoir. By doing this the line pressure remains consistent regardless of the lower reservoir level due to the the upper reservoir always being the same fill level. The ladies (except the c99) were vegged for 3 weeks from rooted clone and topped going into flower. They are currently at the end of week 2 of 12/12 They are running on BAC Nutrients for this grow. Recipe thus far has been: 2ml/L Grotek Calmax 3ml/L BAC Coco Bloom 0.2ml/L BAC Silica Power 0.2ml/L BAC Bloom Stim 0.05ml/L BAC Pro Active EC 1.6, PH 5.8 I foliar spray every third day in a cycle: Grotek Calmax + Dutch Master Saturator Dutch Master Liquid Light + Dutch Master Saturator And have sprayed BAC Foliar Spray once a week since 12/12 Girls are currently drinking 40 litres per day. Enjoy! Rose.
  5. I just received a clone only strain from DNA's cabinet called 911 My friend and I can't find much of any info on it. The smoke is bomb OG with heavy sour... we were thinking it might be DNA's NYCD. But then my bud said it was like trainwreck... which seemed spot on... Then I found this tidbit on-line in a forum. Another person had said the same thing... not sure how legit it is: "i own this plant. and, i recommend it. 911 is the precurser to 911 world strain and is precursor to train wreck. which means you can use it to cross breed with out the trainwreck stuff in it. Any of you OGs know the story on this one??? True or False??? I'm guessing False, since it seems Trainwreck would've been around first. Anyone have any info on this strain?
  6. So, as the title says, does some of you have experiences with the strains available throw Sannie's shop in a equatorial or tropical climate and if so did you had any success with them, or did you had problems suchs as bud rot. I already figured out a list of things I wanna try but it would be nice to have some feedback especially from people living in such climate for a long time. I have grown indoor and outdoor but in europe, i can't make them bloom indoor because of the lack of material available and also that i don't really have much walls. Plus the sun is free and growing outdoor just seem more natural. I am also considering some techniques, the main one being constructing a kind of greenhouse (more like just a transparent roof in fact) to protect the plants from the rain which I believe is the main reason why bud do rot, rain will wet all the buds and the high relative humidity (never less than 80% and usually it's more between 90%and 100%) make it very hard for the bud to dry especially inside. I am also working on a way to dry out the air. If you have any experiences or thoughts concerning that please share. Thanks in advance Amhazed
  7. hi boys and girls I was wondering, if you could take any two strains you want and cross them wich one would you take? and how would you name your cross just talking for talking peace! oldschoolsg
