I don't want spiders in the house, but no problem having them in the grow room. Spiders are the ultimate bug repellent.

The lady that lived here thought they were black widows. They're mostly black here with whites and reds.. When I moved in I realized they weren't black widows. I sat in front of a plant outside last fall and just watched him. Funny as hell. And, they will jump across the plant if they see a bug. They hit them every time. I love the last pic in that link. That's what they do. Great entertainment when stoned. I'll get some pics of them in action, surely, this year.

Much respect for these spiders. So friendly. Otherwise, I'd rather not have spiders around.

peace

Very cool, Baq. What kind of bug is it? do you know? I always try to catch those shots when I can. I just don't have a reliable camera/lens. They're some of the most interesting pics ever sometimes.

We have a spider here that is boss. It goes by the Colorado jumping spider, but has a scientific name. They are the best and most aggressive hunters ever. They're friendly and funny, too. If your lucky, you can catch some wild colors on some. There are many. Here's a description, and I'm trying to get a pic to post. Really cool.

Bold jumper (Phiddipus audax)

Looks like: A fuzzy, wedge-shaped spider that’s black with white (and sometimes red) markings. Their chelicera — the muscular portion of their fangs — is metallic green.

Behavior: These are little spiders with big personalities. If there were any justice in the world, they’d be as popular on YouTube as kittens. They are the fuzzy, goofy class clowns of the arachnids and highly entertaining to have in the garden. They’re curious, brave, athletic and possess some of the best eyesight of any arthropod.

The bold jumpers hunt like cheetahs, stalking their prey, then pouncing on it in a flash of feet and fangs. This doesn’t mean they’ll jump to grab your jugular, but they can cover a distance several times their body length. They’re generally docile spiders, biting only when threatened or grabbed.

Fun fact: “The spider that appears to have a striking personality is Phiddipus audax due to its keen eyesight. It watches you, tracking movement. You can get them to jump from finger to finger or move as you wave your finger in front of them,” said Cushing. They’re great musicians, too, wooing their females by drumming on the ground to put them in the mood.

Here's a thread that has a few pics. It's better than me posting one. They're so cool. I had one live in my last grow and he prowled and patrolled and cleaned my whole grow. I never saw one bug other than a few gnats. I love this things now. If you get one on your plant they will come up to you and play with you a little. Really cool. I'm going to find a way to photo some this year. I have a couple somewhere, but nothing like the pics in that link. Enjoy!

I have 2 Sour Goo plants at week 6 of 12/12 .

The seeds were from Beachbud, I forget what is in them.

Hi Barney, they look great. I have the Sour Goo Phuuu from Beach. The Sour Goo alone is Sour Diesel x Afgooey. The Sour Goo Phuuu is that x Phuuu's IPA, which is (AK47 x Northern Lights) x Super Skunk.

Hopefully someone will correct me if I've made a mistake. They look similar to the two I have going but yours look better. Mine is the Sour Goo Phuuu.

Mine smell great!

peace

Hey Barney, your girls are looking very nice. You have the Sour Goo Phuuu as Mr. G described and it looks like you got a pheno of each with the shorter one being SG dominate. They should bulk up pretty good in the next couple of weeks and will go about 10 weeks overall. Expect a fast hitting somewhat disorienting high that is strong and long lasting with a good body influence.

The SZ looks very much like the one I grew recently. Is yours the fem version also? Very nice smoke, mine smelled like diesel but luckily tasted better. Long lasting clear headed high that is good for getting stuff done. Enjoy!

The usual suspects (Phuuu's IPA, which is (AK47 x Northern Lights) x Super Skunk)

mix with Sour Goo, sound like it will be very nice in about a month.
