@Mrgoodfellow

There´s a smoke report of both phenos in the "smokereport" section on this wonderful page.

Both phenos have a sweet taste. Both phenos are strong enough to reach all levels and the effect lasts long (2.30-3.00 hours). The purple pheno has the more intense berry taste, which is also notable in the green pheno. The buzz is for hybrid smokers. Calm Headhigh  and a soft bodystone...in the end it´s a dreamy high. Small to no ceiling, no burn out.

Thank you, I always forget about that page. Atomic Jam sounds pretty good. Enjoy!

And, now I'll go and reacquaint myself in the Smoke Reports page.

Hey MrG. Both are nice and relaxing, eases normal aches and pains. Sleepy time follows if used in the evening. #9 on the left is more dense. Both are light berry tasting and harsh, definitely need some jar time.

#9 mixed with Silverfields is exceptional.

Nice, thanks. Sounds like a great blend. I love blending strains. You can get some wild flavors.

I was talking to Baqualin the other day and he was telling me Silverfields has been a regular for him for years. I've been hearing lots of good stuff about it. I have a couple of crosses with it. Sounds like the perfect uplifting high. I'd like to get that one and the Killing Fields from Sannie for keepers. I finally got the Sugar Punch but it's fem so I can't do a lot with it.

I'm hoping to get into more of the uplifting strains. I've been stoned as hell all winter, lol. Actually more hybrid but mostly indica dom this last run. I'll have some fun stuff to work with this year. I'll have better trading stock soon.

How many phenos did you get with the BA? Or are they all too similar besides smell/taste? Sound like it'll be fine stuff once it cures good.

I'm with ya on uplifting strains. Another one that gives good pep is Dynasty Caramel Cough. I think I have half a pack, she could be a good Sativa side for crosses.

The BA cuts are basically the same in effect/smell/taste, so far. I think the goal with her is to find the heaviest yielder with flavor and roll with it. #2 made the biggest buds last run, but not as dense as #9. A sensi run will give a truer look at potential.

Forgot to add, I picked up some bud called The Cotton from Igadi when we were in Winter Park. Nice sativa get things done weed, maybe it's floating around your neck of the woods.

Thanks, I haven't heard of Igadi or The Cotton. I haven't been out much this winter. I'll keep an eye for it.

Somebody sent me a cross of Drizella x CC I believe. Might have been Jet, I must have been in a bad way when they came because I can't remember who they're from. lol. Jet I think. So many things happened this year I got a little overwhelmed.

So here is the Wedding Cake that the bud tender tossed in the bag when I picked up the clones. It was smashed, probably from packaging. But, not overly dry like most store bought bud. Covered in triches and smooth on the inhale. I rolled two joints, the first about .4g the second about .6g. The wife and I share the first.  It has a hint of sweetness that comes through on the exhale, though very faint. It’s a good uplifting happy high, that relaxes the body. No munchies, but it did enhance the flavor of food. After about two hours my energy level dropped quite a bit, but the happy mood stayed. I lit up the second joint and smoked about a 1/3 of it. It almost instantly sent me back on my fun journey and I started b-bopping around. For me, it is a little bit energetic, but still relaxing in the muscles if that makes sense.  This is good for being social and out on the town, as long as you have enough to take a toke every hour or so. When it starts to wear off, you will want to chill, but 1 or 2 hits will put you right back to having a ball. I finished the joint in 2 more sittings about an hour apart, each time sending me a tad higher than before. It’s labeled at 14.7% THC. Overall, I like this stuff and am going to have to grow it. Probably not an everyday smoke, but it is one I want in the weed cabinet.

Colombian Gold1972 (USC)

@Mr Goodfellow

The pic shows the first Malawi Gold, I´ve ever grown. It went from 4,6 to 8L. This stout stature shows more yield per Squaremeter  than many others. Small pots and bound roots formed this female plant.

The Colombians are also my first females of this strain.

In the back of the picture you see a top. That is the smaller light green &pink pheno.

The giant plant in the foreground, bent down to her knees( the "headbud"of the plant, is the lowest bud on the right side)is a purple/dark green pheno.

Flowering time:

Malawi Gold 14-16 weeks

Colombian Gold 14-18 weeks

Old congo 16-20 weeks

Wow bro, cool to see some true satties. Those are bad ass. It takes some commitment to run those long flower ladies, great job.

You'll have access to some in the near future. Or at least some nice hybrids of some. I already have a nice little batch of Mexican landrace seeds, ...supposedly. No info, just a bunch of seeds. You're welcome to some of those if you want to play with a few. Should be nice sativa strains. I wish I knew the history, but they came from an older hippy dude out in the hills somewhere here in SW Colorado. My friend got them at the same time he gave him some old Panama Red seeds. I grew one PR out but had to leave town and lost it to bugs an PM by the time I got back but just from sight I think it's legit. He couldn't get them to germinate so he gave me a few to try and I got my first one to go.

So, now I'm excited to dig into the Mexi beans in case there happens to be some old school gold in them. Never know on these kinds of deals. My buddy is a young hippy and his story sounded right for him... he didn't get the info just the beans. he was installing dish satellite TV and that's how he happened on to the old guy.

Let me know and I'll get some to you. They could be 16 weekers, or more, I just don't know. If they finish in 10 weeks then we know they aren't what I expected. Should be at least 14-16 for good Mexi and more, really.

We need more Bigun pics, for sure, bro! Hope all is going well. Should be starting to look pretty nice around your area. I think I'm gonna do my Road Trip again, this year, outside. Maybe 3rd time is a charm. It should do fine at this place without being disturbed. It's about time. First time I got real close when we got an unexpected freeze. Man. it smelled good, though. It just wasn't matured out yet. Buds were about 3 weeks in. I have to get you some beans with the Mohawk I did. Justcozz is growing a few out right now so we'll see how it goes. I figure it'll be alright. Mohawk was one of my favorites and went the fastest once I started smoking it.

Happy growing!

peace

Bro,RT is a great outdoor plant..need to just keep the bugs in control.

I usually get 8 or better from a plant.

I will b growing more OS as well as Dawn Mohawk and and Green Ale.

I also love the Mohawk as well as all who has smoked it..lol

I do a blend sometimes and grind a bud from each and call it the Special Blend..lolBTW..it is great..

Good luck with the RT this grow...Later

I need to still do Dawn. Yeah, I think I need to do the Big Road Trip this summer outside, too. I have a good place for her! Dawn would be okay, too, huh? I' thinking you've always done both with them.  I'll be talking to you soon bro.

Smoking on some green manalishi f2s. Love the old school smell.  Lemony/wet forest/fuel/rubber. Relaxing body high with heavy munchies.

Looks like the Congo could go even longer, huh? Man, FOTH created a nice monster. That's a pretty sweet structure. When you look real close you see how fat the buds are on the Manipuri.. Looking good bro. Pure Exotic.
