2x Killling Fields & 2x Blue Widow And 1x Lowryder #2

Recommended Posts

hi folks!

I decided to put my ICmag growreport here.. because it is already in english and i am lazy :verrygood

it starts with seeds pre-grown under 4 fluorescent tubes in a small grow cabinet (40x60x90 cm)

113-561.jpg

after a week or what and some sexing/pruning.. they got to big for the cabinet..

113-562.jpg

the cuttings failde due to sternrot in the propagator and so i had to use the mothers (seedplants)

to buil up a new stash

they were slightly revegging but they are allright now :specool

here comes the report::

25 januari

113-563.jpg

2x killing fields (on the left)

2x Blue widow (on the right)

under Philips 250 watt HPI-T plus

Today

113-564.jpg

already scrogged and pruned them..

i also removed al the lower leaves and shoots that were under-developed.

the B/W foil is to reflect the light and to prevent the top layer of soil to dry out.

This will cause the roots to grow even in the top layer :smoke

I learned this from sannie.

tha cuttings I took while trimming are already 6 days on their way..

i foresee no troubles and think they all gonna root..

113-565.jpg

these are the new moms and seed-moms for the future :smoke

i will select only the best, acoording to the plants in the flowering cabinet.

The flowering chamber is al coming along :smoke

my bulb was a bit too low and corrected it yesterday :rofl

only the Blue widow seemed to care..

(i broke some shoots when tying down.. (damn B.H.O.)

113-569.jpg

that's gonna cost a couple of grams since they are beginning to flower :(

but hey.. this is the first mistake i made this grow...

if it stays by this one mistake i would be deeply satisfied..

both strains started flowering yesterday so i'm counting flowering time from that day.. (the dutch wise)

again a little update:

some shots from 17 february

113-574.jpg

113-575.jpg

the scrogging continues

in any case with the killing fields.. the blue widow has nearly stopped growing, and is putting her energy in the buds..

I spotted some pink calyxes with the best of the 2 Killing Fields..

#1 in the back..

i think the cutting I took from her will be the winner,

i do not think it is gonna change in flowering..

but who knows ;)

The 2 blue widows are very similar to eachother, same height, same smell, nearly the same amount of buds..

this is what makes me choose for number 2 at the moment..

because she germed 2 days later, and the seedcap wouldn't come off so she was far behind the rest..

but she still had the strength to catch up with her sister!!!

.. i think when they germed equally without any problems.. #2 would be the best of the 2..

so that is why my vote for now goes to the cutting i took from #2..

Heya,

Ofcourse I've already been following you're report in the dutch section... But to anyone that reads this; this guy is a pro, he has such limited space and materials, though he grows the best dutch sensimillia.

If I where you, I'd follow this, and how could you not ? Updated every day...

Well, grow some pot,

And take another J from me,

On a n!ce and sunny Sunday,

I decided to make some pics of the cab...

I was wondering what their colour could tell me.

the 2 Lowryders #2 in the corner.

180-496.jpg

Overview from above

180-497.jpg

Overvieuw a bit closer

180-498.jpg

From the side

180-499.jpg

Killing Fields #1 (Left-Back)

This pink pheno had a strongly sativa structure, but was the firts of the 2 into actual flowering..

that confused me a little.. sativa structure and indica speed of going into flowering..

and thus I waited a week..

Now it turns out to be a Sativa after all till now.. the buds of #2 have passed her buds in volume.

Although I am in love with her structure and colour, I have to wait out the flowering time to determine if i want to go on with this pheno.

Killing Fields #2 (Left-Front)

This Green pheno was more indica alike and behaves like this too..

she was the last to go into flowering but her buds grow indicawise.. really fat really quick!

Her buds almost measure up to the mostly indica blue widows!! that started the 1st in flowering.

The few deformities she had turned out to be awesome budformations :verrygood

and the abuse she is long forgotten :specool

She really has a good chance of being the winner pheno in my cab!

Blue Widow #1 (Right-Front)

This is the one that had absolutely no problems at all..

Full bodied indica with a deep pungent sweet berry smell..

I Love it!

tight bud formations.. and getting big really fast..

The many leaves have to be moved out of the direct light for the buds really often..

this one has less deformities than #2.

this pheno has a good chance of winning of the 2

Blue Widow #2 (Right-Back)

This one had a lot of problems during germination.. and i doubted a moment if i had to throw her away..

but she recuperated better than i expected!

although the bud formations are a bit smaller than #1

She smells like her sister.. together their smell rules my cabby now,

Killing fields is also sweet but (til now) its more subtle.

She als has lots of leaf deformities..

I think her chance of winning decreases drastically if her buds don't outgrow #1's..

2x Lowryder#2 (Corner Right-Back)

these little guys or girls are now the 2nd day in this cab.. just to learn about ruberalis hybrides and to jusge the taste :smoke

not muh to tell abouth these plants.. they are app 2 week old..

Till so far this complete update

and the only cuttings i have @ the moment are rooting in my mini jacuzzi :verrygood

and yet it is time for a little update :specool

I just can't get enough..

I hope the differences are noticable.. i have to look for myself too :verrygood

I think the canopy has grown into the heat-zone of the lamp,

because I can see the shape of the heat shield in the canopy 1st photo.. (it is outlined in light leaves when the light's out.)

so i'm gonna hang my lamp couple of centimeters higher.

they are starting to get a little lighter.. especially in the parts closest to the bulb..

1 gave them nutes an hour ago, mabe that has any effect..

if not i will lift my bulb a little higher (again :specool)

hiya folks!

I just made some pictures and learned a lot about the status of the plants in the cabinet.

the plants are definately in the heat zone.. you can see the shape of the heat shield clearly in the canopy...

so i'm gonna hang my bulb a bit higher.

These plants were fairly big when put into this cab.. so the scrog won't be so high next time..

Yesterday I also gave them a new maximum of nutes

0,5L a plant (1,9ml BAC bloom on 1L water)

The Killing Fields didn't mind it at all:)

the blue widows have reached their maximum.. so i am gonna be carefull feeding them.

Next feeding will be only with some Calgreen for the micro nutrients and some co2 for the heat stress.
