2x Killling Fields & 2x Blue Widow And 1x Lowryder #2

Recommended Posts

fresh update, little time.. :rolleyes:

The blue widows are on a diet, they only get fresh water from now on.. with 10 days to go :D

The Killing Fields are still building, though the green one looks like she's finishing in about 1-2 weeks?

we'll see..

The blue widows

The pattern of yellowing on the blue widows is new for me. i've seen it though but not that kind of pattern.

sure looks like nuteburn!

I'm sure it is caused by the nearing end and the fact that they only get nuteless water since 2 days ago.

(10 days before harvest)

@first the bw#1 began and now the #2 is starting too :rolleyes:

The Killing fields

Still going strong..

I think I'll keep an eye on number 2.. she partially stopped building at some buds..

Maybe she will be finished next week, but personally i hope it is the silence before the storm.

We are in week 7 so.. i think i'm right... but only the plants know it for sure :D

#1 is still building calmly, startin' to fill up well.. she really is aa sticky bitch..

some of my growmate had the same opinion after touching and smelling..

She is definately the most potent of the 5 :D

The lowryder#2

she still has a lot to do.. building and swelling

But i know she'll do it fast.. it took her only 7 weeks to get where she is now :)

hher smell is nice subtle and sour :D lime/citrus.

although the other plants look more delicious this little lady stole my heart!

thats all for today.

have a nice sunday

thanks toerist :rolleyes:

you do know that the monsterbitch in the corner wasn't possible if it wasn't for you :)

And I Love Her!.. really nice scent she got.. smooth and soury...

So thanks again my friend.. I am working on the seeds.. you'll get them soon :D.

really nothing new to say.. the blue widows are finishing and in any case the blueberry pheno will go (partially) down this sunday.

Then they have gotten 8 full weeks of flowering.. I think her neighbour #1 might take a week longer..

Time I give her with pleasure...

couple of days ago I shot some pics..

Little overlighted but hey.... Just work with the scraps you are given :)

Hi BeeKaa and friends,

What a fine scrog you've done. I especially like the curved screen to keep light intensity even throughout the canopy. I don't think I've seen anyone do scrog with a variety of strains like that but you handled it nicely.

I haven't done scrog but seeing such an exceptional grow is pushing me in that direction.

Cheers,

Dee

PS: I enjoyed your cuttings tutorial as well. Thanks.

Finally, some life in the micro corner :D

@HD

thanks man! yeah you are right.. the pink KF is the most potent.. followed by the green one..

I can't wait to harvest them and smoke them :(

Killing Fields is sure worth the try!

@hupla

thanks bro

finally finished her?

now just wait till she gets dry..

it is a nice evening or weekend indica.. really does a good job of knocking one down :P

@sannie

Thanks man, always feels good when you come by and say what you got to say :D

great work on the KF! I'm awaiting the F2 :rolleyes:

@BJN

thanks man!

KF are strong plants.. just be good to them and then they will repay you :)

@DrDee

Yeah i gotta say that one must have balls to do an indica and a (hybrid)sativa in the same scrog..

pff there were times this cycle.. poraying for the BW to grow a bit more and for the KF to stop growing :D

But i managed it pretty well i must say..

fillin't the gap with a lowryder, and heavily scrogging/trimming the KF..

I am glad i inspired you towards a scrog..

it demands a little work but it it is just beautifull to see :).. and you fill up a square meter with less plants :(

using your light more efficiently because your lamp can be much closer to ALL of the buds.

thanks folks for the nice replys :D

here are some pics from the harvest..

I harvested 50% of the main buds of Blue widow #1 and #2

thanks sannie,

yeah if forgot to say

I just harvested the most riped and light absorbing buds.. so that the lower buds can fatten and ripen some more..

about 50% of the buds are still in there :rolleyes:

the light has to be on for the other ladys so they have got the time :D

Very Nice BeeKaa,

I'll bet there was a tangle of bare branches underneath the canopy. Quite an interesting training technique and I'll bet you had to tap into your creativity to manage those three very different strains. Job well done.

Cheers,

Dee

yes Dr.Dee

these 4 ladys are properly shaven.. :rolleyes:

But there still is enough Blue widow buds above those brances :D

the scrog wont let any light through so it the leaves will die eventually.

I recommend triming al the unnderdeveloped buds untill the 1st or 2nd week of flowering..

So the plants can concentrate their power to the buds that do develop :)

Hi'ya,

All your buds seemed to be about the same size, or rather they stick out of the canopy about the same amount. Did you have to do any adjusting to make that happen. Move a bud out or in on the screen? Also, and I did read the thread and perhaps missed it, but do you do most of the screen filling during veg or is most of it done during the flowering stretch? Or put another way, how tall are the plants (relative to the screen) when you initiate bloom ?

Hope I made that clear. Anyhow...I enjoyed your grow thread and learned alot. Thanks,

Dee
