Music Clips/post Your Favorite Players

Recommended Posts

You are right Aad, the original song and an actual live performance is better, but i still love to watch that clip late at night with a good spliff ;), there is no better way to relax, drifting off while a whole playlist of the doors is playing and the room fills up with mj smoke :bier

Some very good songs in this thread to keep it up.

Jimmi Hendrix:

Boom-bash leave the room with the stash

Assume it's in a smash, Doom get the cash"

Hehe

At the moment I'm listening to more MF Doom (other alias, same person as Madvillain, yep confusing :bier ):

Some other stuff I like:

My Avatar already says a lot :bier, but sofar I haven't seen any clips/music I don't like.

Manu Chao, Lou Reed, Eek a Mouse, Doors, St.Germain, Judge Dread, Tom Waits, Ian Dury, Buena Visto Social Club,

Ali Farka Toure, Joe Satriani, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Nina Hagen, Queen, Ray Charles, Blues Brothers, Yousoun'Dour, Velvet Underground, James Brown, Paragons, Erotic Lounge. This is just a tiny portion of music I like beside Ska. Some good Funk, Hard Rock, Classic, Rap is also appreciated.

Every now and then I also listen to music of bands/groups that I hardly know how to pronounce their names. Lately I've been listening to the "treasury of chinese instruments"-CD, "Raz Dwa Tzry" and "Mitsoura" a lot.

A clip I couldn't resist to post Screaming Jay Hawkins - Constipation Blues ;)

Gotta have " The Doors" :bier

It's coming a bad storm, so some " Riders On The Storm" by " The Doors" seems fitting

That girl(Alison Krauss) can really give me goosebumps. She's beautiful, can sing like an angel and can play the violin :bier .

I like all different kinds of music, depends on the mood of the moment.I love the guitarartists(Joe Satriani,Steve Vai,Steve Ray Vaughn,Jimi Hendrix)but can also enjoy a more mellow sound.Often the simpler folksongs have the biggest emotional impact on me.

Here are some laidback, soft, sounds of the sixtiestype songs.

(btw forget the video!sound only ;) )

Sounds of Silence-Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel

One more bit softer one by

Joe satriani-

I haven't heard many things that the Moody Blues have done that I didn't like. I also enjoyed a group that only released maybe 3 albums in the US, and that was "It's A Beautiful Day".

@wpw

You are talking about local boys JJ and Leon seems to me i saw both of them at the ballroom. we be close.
