Whazzup 529 Report post Posted May 10, 2008 Anesthesia F1 v2 mamma skunk afghani I presume She arrived last week, and is a selected sister of the original Afghani Skunk mother. After a few days of getting used to growing outdoor she has been potted into 45 liters of upgraded premium compost, my own recipe. It's a big white white pot, normally used to mix cement. I always line them with black root barrier to keep out the light (not good for the roots). White pots outdoor are great, much better than black ones, as the black ones heat up a lot. Try to put a thermometer in a small black pot in the sun... Not good! That reminds me that I need to cut a white cover for the black Anesthesia pot The scrog screen will be about 90x90 cm big and at about 50 cm high: this baby has a few months veg ahead! She will go into flowering in August so I expect the new batch Anesthesia F1 in November this year. Parallel to that I am working on the F2 selection, but still need to see some more grows to be able to select the right pheno, though I already have a good feeling which one I want to select. The compost has been watered with fungi and kelp to promote root development. It's a potent mix. The Anesthesia roots in the tent populated the 26 litres in no time. Added tot the mixture is a drop of Humic and Fulvic acid. The compost consist of: - recycled compost - Light mix - Bentonite - Seramis - Basalt meal - Maerl - Worm humus - Blood meal - Bone meal - Kalivinasse - Bacto - Fungi - Humic Acid - Kelp and a lot of love There we go again! Hope the outdoor season will leave me enough to smoke untill November
Whazzup 529 Report post Posted May 11, 2008 Cam is still off-line while we shoot the porn movie in the garden Instead I'll give you some pictures of it. Anesthesia F1 v2 on it's way... The Anesthesia got repotted to 12 liters, I had to water het twide a day. The Kush/smm had a visit from a flock of eh... nasty leaf critters. There is nothing on the leafs, just the holes they left. It was a bite-and-fly attack probably. And to give the 4 seedlings a fair chance I put them in the big pot with the spontaneous Anesthesia. With exception of the Skunk Afghani and the Anesthesia it's all a bit of horsing around with a few plants, nothing too serious. I'm sthinking about starting another sativa, I still have the Mexican Sativa/Hindu Kush x Herijuana seeds. That all started with a phenomenal Mexican Sativa 2 years ago. I pollinated a branche with a beautiful Hindu Kush male. I grew one of those last year but the weather was bad, it is still a nice smoke though, my gf smokes it medicinally. When I made the Anesthesia I thought "what the hell" and pollinated a branch of the sativa/kush with Sannies Herijuana. So actually I'm very curious what that strain will bring. The original Mexican Sativa, it was one of the best outdoor smokes I ever had. Really enjoyed that one. My original plan (Motarebel Killer Queen F5 and Knights Templar) again has to wait, though I might pop a few Killer Queens later in the season.

Whazzup 529 Report post Posted May 21, 2008 Not a lot to report. She is topped, grows and tomorrow I will start bending her open. The rest of the "not wanted" ones The spontaneous Anesthesia and the 4 seedlings that were dumped outdoor in Feb. but refused to die Left the Anesthesia that didn't make the tent. Growing a lot worse than the indoors of course vut still a nice plant. On the right next to geezer 2 the kush x smm live on cam of course....
Whazzup 529 Report post Posted May 24, 2008 today I added the the wire mesh for the scrog. Training.. let the Shibari commence The kush / smm shows very intense (pre)flowering. I has been out since feb of course, maybe it just thinks that it's about time to strat flowering. If so, that would be an interesting development worth looking into. The early Anesthesia's don't show any sign of pre-flowering yet, but as we know they are late showing their gender. A bunch of Anesthesia refugees The geezers covering each others asses
Whazzup 529 Report post Posted June 1, 2008 The four Anesthesia seedlings went to a foster mum where they will live happily ever after The Afghani Skunk had 4 of Sannies biological nutes tablets, which should cover everything they need from now on. These new tabs have been tested for cannabis a number of times with very good results. Very healthy plants, big very dark seeds. It feel terrifying not to have to add anything but water anymore and I'm sure I'll give her a bit of molasses etc (if only to satisfy my urges), but no nutes anymore! About the tabs: they contain nitrogen-fixing and phosphorus-solubilizing bacteria, natural humates (from leonadite), organic fertilizer and slow-release organic nutrients. They last for about a year so they are ideal for mother plants too. You be the judge at the end
Whazzup 529 Report post Posted June 2, 2008 progress on the outdoor front. The new anesthesia F1 mum (positronics Skunk Afghani)is doing well. Still training her for the scrog of course and probably will take one or two cuttings. This is a very fine one indeed, it smells intense. The Afghani pollen I had saved in the fridge from last year still works.. I have a few seeds in my anesthesia. So Anesthesia x Afhgani (just because I was very curious and that male afghani was a real awesome dude). Here is one of them. The kush is doing well. Likes the new compost, getting a lot greener and is flowering!
Whazzup 529 Report post Posted June 3, 2008 I took two cuttings from the Afghani Skunk, it was getting a bit too wide anyway. They are in one liter of cuttings compost with some fungi and bacto under 2 cfl cool white lights. They don't need 200 watt cfl coming few weeks 25 celcius. The plastic bag should ensure high humidity to prevent evaporation.
Whazzup 529 Report post Posted June 4, 2008 After the cuttings: Better shape Anesthesia Kush/smm Cat
Whazzup 529 Report post Posted June 6, 2008 Tabs in, she only gets a bit of water every few days and all goes well. Ok, and a bit of spray once in while of course - Black Gold from Nutritech Solutions in this case The outdoor Anesthesia The Kush/smm week 1 flowering, so last spray black gold and a last spray of vital tomorrow. Whazzup 529 Report post Posted June 14, 2008 News from the half pipe: The outdoor Anesthesia that had full light in blooming. No second internode flowering but all the trichomes are milky and some getting amber. 9 weeks flowering. No bananas. Kush/SMM Mex. Sativa/Hindu Kush x Herijuana - I'll call her Mexican kush. Let's see how much sativa she held on to Looks like summer...
Whazzup 529 Report post Posted June 27, 2008 About time for an update The Anesthesia is harvested. And we have a new friend in the garden: the amnesia haze I grew in scrog beginning of this year . Probably a great-granddaughter (and already was a mum for cuttings). The Amnesia Haze has recovered fast from the trip (yesterday), already re-potted her! Ther kush-smm, re-flowering Mamma Afghani Skunk. Some strange leafs on top as a result of the fim . Still just water for her, the tabs do a good job so far. Well ok, she does get a little spray once in a while, that helps . She's ready for some serious shibari! :ninja: The mexican, still on too wet soil That's all folks
Whazzup 529 Report post Posted July 2, 2008 After first scrog: Scrog details Amnesia Haze Kush/smm... yep.. purple! Mexican Outdoor cuttings . A test with a new root gel based on kelp, on pitpot Where are your Ray-Bans when you need them

Whazzup 529 Report post Posted July 9, 2008 A week ago I took a few spare cuttings from the skunk/afghani, also to test a new organic rooting gel. They don't root very fast so that's a good test. Normal rooting with this mother is 10-14 day. The pitpots have been inoculated with fungi and a drop of bacto, the leafs have been sprayed with kelp, the rooting gel is based on kelp too. This is them now. No roots yet popping out but they look fine.
