Thanks for stopping by Robin Hood,

Indeed, she's still alive :) stayed a bit shorter but is nicely coming along with the rest :) Smells just as nice as her healthyer sister.

When the buds are rubbed they smell very nice!

Coincidence that you ask, today I had the nicest smell experience! Couldnt believe it.

While I was cleaning up underneath the canopy with taking the dead leafs off and such at the end I rubbed a very lower bud of the cheesus in the back.

I smelled and it was like I was smelling a real life Grapefruit! I even asked my girlfriend to sniff my fingers and check iff she smelled it aswell :D lol!

But I think it was the mix of smells from the NBDxPB leaf-stalks (cause I mostly cleaned that one in the back) that took over. Thaught I read once that there could be grapefruit smells in NYCD plants.

Maybe a its bit of diesel genes coming true in that NBDxPB.

Anyways, when rubbed the NBDxPB smells like a musky perfume with fresh sweet hints. My favorite one is the plant up front!

The Cheesus smells very sweet. It's all cheesy candy/bubblegum funk.

The Big Buddha Cheese smelled very fresh and a light modest cheese smell not as dank as I recall from when I tried to grow it once also.

Yes, I should probably get a new one... Will try to find time this weekend and get me one.

Greetings!

nice score lexn they all sound yum !

i know where the grapefruit smell is coming from, i grew soma's nycd one time, one seed and got pretty lucky. it had a totally amazing smell of a freshly cut grapefruit. this also translate into the taste and with a high that seems to last hours.it was just like his description

and i know sannie worked with soma cut when doing his nycd, so... lucky you

Thanks Robogro, for you aswell all the best wishes!

@RobinHood: Nice! :) Makes me even more curious now. Hopefully nothing goes wrong (*knock on wood*).

Today I got a phone call from a collegue at the headquarters office, an hour before the end of the workday: Yeah you can go home....

I was thinking: shit i'm trouble for something :P Then he said because everybody could go home early today :D, what a relieve !

So I took the chance to not get high first at home and directly drive to the closest growshop (not the usual one, sorry guys ;) ). Otherwise I would end up staying at home being to high and lazy to go out still :D

Got home with 2 new meters. Took one extra as backup, but gonna use it aswell.

Didn't yet placed them inside the tent, got high first ( still getting higher while I type :P ). Some of that sweet Santa Maria!!! :icecream: The jars are now quickly getting empty :( Still very pleased I am self sufficient for so long now! Scared for the day I will run out, lol.

So I will update humidity later on inside the tent.

I can already say, the room where the tent is situated is now: 21°C with a humidity of 59% :)

Greetings!

EDIT: Current humidity at topheight frontright corner 49%

Current humidity at soilheight middle 66%

I gave them water today with 2.2ml/1.5l BAC nutes.

High all,

WEEK 7 FLOWERING

So we arrived at the beginning of week 7. As humidity concerns, not much to say about besides that it sucks! +- 50%min +- 70%max as wel at topheight as at soillevel. That peak of 70% is probably during nighttime. At lighttime it balances at 50%.

Temps are quite good 26°Cmax 18°Cmin topheight. Temps at soillevel 22°Cmax 18°Cmin .

So that being said. I have some more bad news. Nanner alert at the NBDxPB up front. Picture will follow. Also a tip of a foxtail, the calyx is completly white.... Very weird sight. I was thinking it is heatburn but she is closest to the fan and the lamp is heigh enough.

I will pluck the nanner with a tweaser tonight.

Now that the end is near, my fingers are itching to chop them. Initially I wanted to let them go the whole 9weeks. But with my crappy climate I'm thinking i'll take them all around 8week mark.

Maybe in different sessions. Otherwise the house will stink to much I think. It's now already reeking :P Maybe I will look for a good carbon filter next time :P

From now on I won't be giving anymore nutes. Last watering with nutes was dosed at 3ml/1.5l.

So enough blabbering here some pictures:

Thanks Blowsterke! Much appreciated!

I just removed the nanner with a tweaser. It was a shakey moment :) Didn't want to damage the bud :P

I didn't really 'plucked' it, I kinda cutted it... But I think it's disarmed.

Greetings!

Thanks for the kind words MojoMolo and ReverendMaynard!

I feel flattered :) Although it can still be better imo. I've noticed that the BigBuddhaCheese stayed green the longest ( I guess she's a easy one to grow ).

She also is the smallest plant, so it could be that she needed less nutes and that's how she stayed green the longest. Just guessing.

Anyways, tonight I'll chop the front row (NBDxPB and the Cheesus). Then later on the week the rest.

I know they could use some longer, but I don't want to risk any mold. (*fingers crossed*)

Although the early chop I do think they look good, the smells are dank-a-licious. I hope it stays in the drying.

Pictures will follow tonight.

Greetings!

The NBDxPB was a pleasure for pre-chop manicure. Mostly pulled them off and they softly came off. Didn't really pay attention to the smell, not to overwhelming smell while manicuring. She was also very fastly done :P

The Cheesus on the other hand was bit more sturdy, did more with the scissors. One would think that she should been the easy one with all the nute-damaged yellow leafs, but she was a tuff lady :). She also had a strong fruity smell when handling, that was really nice nose stimulation! :D

So, now they are hanging now with the early ones to dry.

It was a pleasure for the nose again and the buds felt really sticky and oily.

The Cheesus smelled like her sister. The Big Buddha Cheese was funkygreen but when handled she gave her fresh cheesey scent away.

The 'grapefruit'scent of the NBDxPB evolved quite a bit when I was cutting her, it was more funky musky imo.

Hope everything goes well in the drying process, with the 2 early ones temp was still hanging at 18% 50%humidity in the dryingcloset (with closed doors). It is now hanging at 60% with the fresh ones with it.

Greetings!
