Chocolate Rain Pheno

Recommended Posts

I'm going to try to post pictures on every plant i've grown instead of a grow report. I owe it to some members for all the helpful info they have given me and the great seeds this website provided, this is the best community i've found yet, thanks all. I hope you guys enjoy these pictures of Chocolate Rain. I wonder if eskobar got any info on this 50 day phenotype, what an awesome strain brotha.

I have two phenos going right now. One of them (called The Claw, because its leaves tend to...) looks a lot like this one. It's essentially done this weekend (8 weeks in flower) and it is a Cocoa Kush leaning pheno. I've also got what I think is a Chocolope pheno.

What kind of scents are you getting? My CK pheno smells like fruit with cocoa powder sprinkled on top. The Chocolope pheno has a less pronounced chocolate scent, and it's really more in the background of a fruity smell.

It's a faster finishing strain than I expected.

Nice pics Nokturnal.

That pheno u show, its my favorite, and u do have a lil more color then me. Lucky Luke.

Its the perfekt blend of Chocolope vs Cocoa Kush, it will be a little sweet.

Your phenotype is like 60% chocolope and 40 % cocoa kush.

I hope u like this smoke like i do.

Thank u very much for sharing these pics.

Thanks for the replys all,

Its funny you nailed it on the head eskobar! I was standing there smelling the plant for 15 mins trying to figure it out and its def a little more sweet with undertones of chocolate. The nugs are so very dense too. I'm still very surprised that it seems done at 50 days and I'm having a hard time wanting to harvest this lovely lady, lol maybe 5 more days to make sure shes done.

Hello Nokturnal,

may be have you been smelling it for 15mn, but for sure that's the time I spent watching it!

Beautifull colors, compact buds on well developped stems, frosty looking... lovely.

Hoping you will report its smoke.

Good Vibes,

Magic

this pheno is a winner ... looking wonderful there, nokturnal.

i had a hard time choosing my favorites out of chocolate rain.

to add to the selection-overkill: i had two packs running *lol*

more than ten ladies to choose from. three stayed and showed

quite different traits (one being very sativa, the other very sweet

and one that was like "an heavy old leather shoe chocolate" *lol*).

boy, was this hard for me, since i really liked most of them. i am

sure i culled some real gems, but i had only the room for three.

i was really sad when i had to kill the others to make space for

more esko-beans. and i was about to go ape-shit when i had to

remove the keepers due to security problems on beginning of

this year (i must admit: a little tear dropped my eye).

but no worries:

two more packs (now i have four) have arrived last week along with

some chucky's bride and that finally made the itch disappear *haha*

yours respectfully,

santero

(chocolate nut :) *lol*)

Sry to hear that really sucks on having to remove those, BUT the benefit Is I keep getting better phenos each pack I grow lol, plus you learn to perfect them too =]

You gonna pop all 40? That would be an awesome selection lol!

@Nokturnal- so how was growing the Chocolate Rain? Your plants look wonderful!

Thanks, it was a good grow, all hydroponics, it packed on alot of weight really early and stayed like that until finish and took whatever I threw at it for nutrients up to 1.5-1.7 EC.

Sugar Punch is up next =], I will start a new post.

One of my favorites and looks like the pheno I ran for quite a while! Wasn’t super strong or overly sedative, but nice head change and relaxed my back muscles like no other plant to date perfect med! The taste was choco creamy slight fruity background. Has anyone furthered the genetics etc ; where has E$KO gone? Just curious as I’d love some fresh CR and I haven’t seen new stuff since I grabbed Chuckys Bride and that’s been a while. Nope Jalisco Jaze was last, but still want some CR and hope E$KOs good.
