i've moved the 3 plants in my flow-room to finish them, i've not well carried of them (at all!) but buds looks fine

gallery_8127_3577_247999.jpg

so, i think the microbox works not so bad and now i've something more interesting to put in :

16x green poison in 2Ltrs pots

gallery_8127_3577_206288.jpg

i can put 20 in but i let place for Gambians males (for few days only!)

i already have 4 other plants to complete it.

plants are healthy and i'll care of them (this time).

gallery_8127_3577_225645.jpg

they're already in 12/12 since tomorrow

nice one rollit , they are looking good.

Have you considered doing a lot less plants ?

I always found that less plants gave me more material .

thank you smudger ;)

yes, i've thinked about it but haven't care of them (the 3 previous, lol!).

it depend of the strain, some are doing big stretch/stress together and aren't good for the yield.

so, a scrog is better than a sog in this case.

we'll see if this GP (70% sativa they say) will grow a lot and needs to became a "scrog of sog" instead of a sog for this moment.

then, i'll shave the legs...

Good to see the flexible use of your demo-box.

Here is the follow up of post #25:

I used 2x30 watts cfl to assist the 250watt bulb, 14 seedlings on half a square meter.

Shot about a week ago.

Good luck with the new plants in the box!

I used an ordenary closet, that did not meet the ceiling, and I mounted the filter and exhaust fan on top.

Many diy reports of similar ones here..

Just browse the pix

A tent would rais much more questions, that's why I use this.

easier to put a screw or nail here and there too.

When it get's hot in the summer I shut down or use cfl's etc for some autoflower project breeding.

And when I open the door, it's a "Tableau Vivant" that I'm painting, but also has it's own plans.

Hello Sacred Plant Warrior,

i've used "medium hydrofuge" ("Damp-proofing medium"), i don't know what the words for, in english.

a link to show what is it : http://www.leroymerl...p-15-mm-e154593

a 'green waterproof shipboard'

but usually shipboard's glue sterilize seeds (this one i don't know, and with the standards in each countries...), so i don't advice this kind of material :

never let you seeds stock in a shipboard drawer or something like that...

and it's an heavy material, that's better to be 2 to move my box.

few years ago i've used this kind of stuff :

http://www.castorama...PRDm499391.html

it's water and chemical proof, and maybe cheaper than custom cut wood+screws

i've made holes on the board to fix aero-pots (6 plants in 12 cm diameter pots) and a pump for a hydro-system (that was before full organic), and used an adapted greenhouse as a tank and to cover the plants during the grow period.

mine was a 40x60x90 box, but this one looks better for example (bigger and cheaper, and with 2 boards).

bye!

Hello,

after there first entire day in the box, the GP clones are well, good news.

gallery_8127_3577_189395.jpg

the 2 Gambians males feel better and... show female sexes!

it's able that they do males first and after only females, because of the Gambians origins :

usually Gambian females are few hermie because grown without males, so the plants want to have children. and in this case, this 2 are not healthy enough ans show males before females.

i'll see what's going on...

as soon as the GP begin to make some little buds, i put off the Gambians.

i'll replace them by a personal "strain", the "Furtive X1", almost odorless till the end, both for people and bugs like spiders.

i want to improve it in different conditions and cross it with Auto Gambians and/or Auto Haze.

she makes lot of nodes, buds everywhere, grow fast and strong, and an "easy-mother" to care.

the problem is that she comes late, too late for outdoor here most of time.

so little and full of energy, branches incoming!

gallery_8127_3577_172454.jpg

the 4 between the Gambians under T-neon, they go in the box in 10 days maxi (5 days i think) :

gallery_8127_3577_346485.jpg

clones gived to a friend, putted outdoor last summer, in the begin of July.

in compost, only water (i don't remember the date of the pics, but in october) :

gallery_8127_3574_289139.jpg

gallery_8127_3574_273389.jpg

i don't know what will happen with them in the box, and i like surprises.

so, i'm waiting for the show :icecream:

up-date of today :

now they're 20 in the box

gallery_8127_3577_65357.jpg

gallery_8127_3577_60904.jpg

4 'Furtive x1' are now near the GP, they're longer to begin to flower, and more weeks to finish.

gallery_8127_3577_170824.jpg

they're 2 time smaller then GP's but with the scrog it doesn't matter, and i trust them to be able to do something strong in this little space.

i hope.

one good thing with this strain, it makes good buds in the low branches too.

Hello,

thank you Roodni!

since now i will not touch GPs more : they can grow till the cool-tube, almost touch it, without burning. it's cold enough.

i'll see for the 'furtives', i hope they'll not grow too high. but they just can touch the top of the box i think.

beautiful !! :)

thanks ;)

well, still have not a lot of time, but few pictures made when i've sprayed Biobud GHE for the first time today.

it's a permanent battle against flies here.

in this box i've soaked every pots with H2O2 and give them bacto 24Hrs later. but flies still alive and i don't want to spray when flowering.

so i let the soil dry as possible for larvae...

without lightening

gallery_8127_3577_61385.jpg

it's beautiful, yes, but i think about the yield and it's around 1/3 m2 for a fast strain which can give 500g/m2 maxi in the best conditions (and perhaps not with this pheno).

so, 160g maximum expected. and certainly less.

but 100g every 8 weeks could be great for the friends, to smoke, and could interest some to build boxes for themselves.

que sera sera

Hi there,

It is good. :)

yes, it seems!

we'll see that at the harvest, in two weeks maybe.

i was busy with other grows but they still fine/not bad. still have some bugs (flies).

the furtive :

i think about rotate the cool-tube if there is place enough, and put some 18w T8 tubes on each side of it, to increase the light (thanks for the idea FOTH ;) ).

Merci beaucoup LaVie ;)

i was embarrassed by the low torque of the fan but it seems to be efficient enough.

so, results are better than expected.

i hope i'll remove easily the screen...

the Hawaiian Snow should be a killer in it. surely my next grow in it.

good sunday!

yeah, you're all right! "Dank U well"!

"et bon courage avec le français!" ;)

i think it's a good simply set-up for low budgets and beginners, but not to use with strains like cheese, etc... because of the odor (no filter).

but it's not a big volume/area and it's not the same fragrance as big installations, so...

and it could be placed in a ventilated bathroom or any other room with a fan (going outdoor!), or with an open window.

i like this microbox, i'm gonna upgrade it little by little...

bye!
