hey barney, do you reuse your soil directly in the bucket or do you compost it and cycle it and reuse it?

this run I had some buckets I reused directly in and did an other one with new dirt and everything, the results yieldwise and overall well being is not comparable.. taught about it and after reflection (and a good read of the organic obsession's thread(the first)) I will now in the futur compost and cycle my soil. I will work to always make my soil better and put more good life and awesome organism in there.

I will never make that mistake again, from now on, either compost soil or new stuff, bums out to scrabs a run with a strain you were excited to try for the first time or whatever 3 months is still 3 months..

peace barney, hope life's good!

looking good Barney, I can tell you I have found most of the Esc0 I have tried to be light feeders, but i can be stingy with the nutes sometimes too, I have kinda approached the less is more phase of my style at this poiint, burned enough plants trying to experiment and squeeze a couple extra grams, and in the end, the differences were negligible....

I had a 25 gallon tub that was used, amended and cooked for a year, half of that time frozen. When I amended I used azomite, garden lime, Epsom salt and kelp but no heavy NPK. I am hoping the problem is lack of nutes. I took down 2 of he chuckys, I think I will get an oz from the three. The buds on 2 of them are dense, they are all sticky & stinky. On the Holy P, I got 1 boy & one girl. The boy was culled. I am down to 2 Lemon Thai seedlings, They started slow and mutated but are improving. All 5 Polar Bear beans are up & open, they are jumping.

The third chucky came down today. The JBMS ran out of head room in the veg box so she (fem) went into the flower room. The Silverfields is at week 5.They stopped at 24" to 30". Here are photos, not a pretty sight.gallery_7552_4147_402907.jpggallery_7552_4147_2013933.jpggallery_7552_4147_865251.jpggallery_7552_4147_3602913.jpggallery_7552_4147_4485767.jpggallery_7552_4147_1100466.jpggallery_7552_4147_1787788.jpg

hey barny,

wow just stopped back in and what a pleasant surprie to see you still running that set up. my my how far along you have come. congrats fo sho brother. you got me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Yet, you also got me thinking i need a stealth grow bad. my thought was to try some autoa or do 12/12 from seed/clones on regulars. i have a 250 mh, a 400, hps , and a 600 digital.. coco coir for speed rooting/growth . real simple 4 plant. max to flower. i just have to figure out smell. seems like I'm headed for a tent lol.

damn look at where you have me thinking, tent/grow box/free grow, tent/grow box/free grow, oops free grow is out no way to contain smell, tent/gro box, tent/grow box

tent is winning because i can't make a grow box vanish, but could put the grow box in a basement where it would be more on the DL

Hey Warrior. Thanks bro. I am learning a lot about the plants but do not have my soil dialed in yet. A tent or a box works. Either one needs enough height and venation. I have improved the quality & quantity of my stash. Hey Old school I put the chucky away to cure, I am smoking Sannies Jack and Skackzilla now.

Hey OldSchool. The Silverfield is making nice buds, the tall one is finishing soon. The HP is way tiny, it will just be a sample. The JBMS is doing very well. The first Lemon Thai is vigorous and just showed to be a female. :dribble:gallery_7552_4147_2346635.jpggallery_7552_4147_3438946.jpggallery_7552_4147_405891.jpg

The Lemon Thai beans are from Smilestyle. Thanks buddy ! I looked at the description, the Hawaiian brings the big leaves, I think.

Yes. The LT f2 had phenos with broadleaves and sat.dom. hybrid leaves, much narrower. It was the vigor of the male, not the shape of the leaves, that made me choosing him.

My landlord called on Monday and told me there would be a city code inspection on Wednesday, today. I made it through the ordeal. I had been way over due for a good cleanup, that is the bright side. I harvested the Silverfield, about 2 weeks early. Everything else is back in order. Now I have room for 5 Polar Bears to go into the flower room. Peace dudes, I need a nap now.

Thanks OS, all is well. I had some worries and shut down again. Things passed and I am back at growing. I went for fems to get 6 girls going quick, 4 Shackzilla and 2 Heri. The first heri (#2) came down yesterday right at 8 weeks.gallery_7552_4850_80732.jpggallery_7552_4850_675534.jpggallery_7552_4850_2691791.jpggallery_7552_4850_61000.jpggallery_7552_4850_799449.jpggallery_7552_4850_2147537.jpggallery_7552_4850_570243.jpggallery_7552_4850_196165.jpggallery_7552_4850_217942.jpggallery_7552_4850_210568.jpg
