I have seen someone mention this before, when Justcuzz was still hanging here, think a thread on it, not sure if that person received a solution or not?

Today was a very sunny day. And a few of the pale purple peppers turned orange.

More hot weather predicted in next few days.

Here's a picture of the first composite plant.

large.DSC_4310.JPG.3c418f05adb6f2fbfb098

The scion will  flower in a few days. Grafting seems to be easy, but I'll call it a success when both parts of the plant carry fruits.

Here's another picture of the Jalapeno scion, that I showed recently.

large.DSC_4306.JPG.792dc8f604359ea691a01

And here's the three legged plant.

large.DSC_4313.JPG.add31331db3e354731199

I removed the tape and wire from the first attempt at adding an extra stem and root stock.

Then wrapped a little piece of wire at the critical spot, to prevent accidents.

They call it inarching.

Here's the other side of it.

large.DSC_4311.JPG.f89347ae17bfa43aee0d3

And here's the purple plant with the added root stock.

large.DSC_4307.JPG.fb6497881a7d4b12760a4

I sealed all the graft spots, so no bugs or fungi can attack the plant there.

It looks like these two attempts at inarching worked out well.

Two more to be unwrapped.

In a few days.

110 heat index

Its about 90 percent humidity lol

Been like this 2 weeks or so.

Hmm lets see what new fear porn i heard

Oh 1 person dies of covid 19. every 8 seconds

That was a headline for mongo

So toker puts his thinking cap on and says

Mmmkay

Mmmmkay

Toker says

Yo google

It took me 2 months to get it to respond to that hehehehe

Yo google one person dies every 8 seconds of..... Said nothing

First thing pops up

One person dies every 8 seconds of opioid

Overdose

Lolol

There were lots of other things

Point is big shit

My algorithm is perfect

Or as perfect as the numbers they say

So its saying the RNaught as of now based on NC numbers is 1.8

Slightly more than flu

Ok what else

Oh we have 1200 died

Mmmkay

Mmmkay

Yo google how many people died in NC of car crashes in 2019?

5200 approx

At NC current death rate if if if you can BELIEVE

Unwrapping the last two attempts at inarching an extra stem and root stock.

https://www.wietforum.nl/uploads/monthly_2020_08/large.DSC_4316.JPG.2de18beac72784574031b1f87033a40e.JPG

I used copper wire on the Jalapeno. For the result it doesn't matter.

https://www.wietforum.nl/uploads/monthly_2020_08/large.DSC_4318.JPG.f94f0b066b721d8e36460ff3c3113848.JPG

The added rootstock is either a Habanero or a Bell pepper. I'll never know, because it's not allowed to make any shoots.

It feels like it's firmly joined. Below is the other side of it.

https://www.wietforum.nl/uploads/monthly_2020_08/large.DSC_4320.JPG.be321a8e0016e54e5f27f4377195be88.JPG

Then I unwrapped the fourth attempt at inarching, the second added stem and root stock on "the three legged plant".

https://www.wietforum.nl/uploads/monthly_2020_08/large.DSC_4327.JPG.a1c0924db150dfce373858044f3adf52.JPG

The base plant is not a Habanero, as I stated earlier. I can now  see by it's first fruit it's a Bell.

The stem on the left side is a Peruvian Purple, and the latest added part is a Jalapeno.

And below is the other side of it.

https://www.wietforum.nl/uploads/monthly_2020_08/large.DSC_4326.JPG.f429e839866477093ae99052143bd400.JPG

This one also feels like it has joined.

I sealed the wounds and will remove the last bits of wire in a week or two.

So far so good.

Today I unwrapped grafted pepper scion #9, a Peruvian Purple into the crown of a Bell.

large.DSC_4336.JPG.46afa3f5e969e70a8fdc4

The wound is almost seamless on the other side.

large.DSC_4337.JPG.8c57ad8a954ab71be0277

Below is how the whole crown of the plant looks now, after sealing it and adding a little safety wire.

large.DSC_4339.JPG.f93c3ba2303c0c9568118

The sealant is effective at catching bugs, and stops them from roaming around.
