Thanks Oldschool, consistency on all three is interesting and different.

The KO Kush, The taste is divine and intense, the oil brought out a lil more sativaish feel on the front end, moreso than we get with flower, actually had my wife dancing in our living room for about 20-30 minutes to the beatles tribute, before that Kush came in with the pillow and blankets and a hammer for a sleepover, who took her to bed where she proceeded to rack out the rest of the night. It was a deep sleep she was in too as she didnt hear me come in, which trust me is a rarity.

I meant to add at 4 weeks in, the Lucas Formula is getting a thumbs up at this time from me. I usually have a few minor burned tips by now at least with one or two of them, and so far all are holding and growing nicely. Plants look very healthy and the recipe with Jungle Juice couldn't be easier.

I also opted to trim some fan leaves, however, they were not removed, only trimmed the tips, still left area to catch light, needed to open some of the canopy up, its just filling in so nicely and crowding each other..

Also havested some CCK pollen and tried the water method tonight to try to catch a few beans, hoping this technique works and doesnt affect everything, time will tell...

Any scroggers care to comment, is this screen too crowded? I often wonder if I should have removed some tops earlier on in veg to open up light to buds underneath as there are many branches tied down to screen. Am I overthinking this? Is my coverage good?

I tend to average around 10oz (305g+) per run out of a 400W HPS, not to mention the oils/hash from trim and such, would love to get it over 400g, but haven't seemed to find the right combo yet to move me even into the 350+ range.

@GreenAngel - You should definately get yourself a set of bubble bags if nothing else. You would be surprised at how much hash you can pull with those bags. I started with the bubble hash, then moved into running BHO. BHO is a lil more expensive and dangerous, since your dealing with the gas, but do it smart, like you probably do other activities and you shuold be good. Lots of great videos on youtube and knowlege in this forum.

@OSG - Thanks for the kind thoughts and following the thread. Started with my breeding activities this week, so will post some updates on those in the next round or so.

Happy Valentines day to you all.

I think it might have worked.

Side by side comparison of Mother (CR#2) leaves to daughter (KO Kush x CR#2) leaves, Two leaves on the left are the Mother and the one on the right is the Cross. I can see the KO Kush influence in color and shape, but the buds have a cresting more similar to the CR but they are densing up like the KOK. Most smells are leaning to the CR parent at this time, very bright and fruity, but lots of trics looking like KO. So interesting to me...

Full monty, letting it all hang out....

@Oldschool, the album is very much appreciated, You have some nice looking gear there. How is the density on the flower? Did it carry that heavy thickness of the bubba? Did you make any oil? I believe the oil from the CCK won first place in Oregon last year. Can't wait to fill my lungs with those dabs

@kta - Do it, I had this trim sitting around for about 3-4 months, waiting for me to do something, now it is usable and got to dab myself silly last night. It is a productive use of the time and material, glad it could provide some motivation....

@ Oldschool, any idea what your temps were running for your CCK to purple out like that?

I am not seeing any colors like that in mine yet, but it might still be early...Week 5 - the crystal production is going into overdrive so much pixiedust already its like the fairies are having an orgy. So much time left to fatten up too! ;)

Can you explain the water/pollen mix technique?

Im assuming its similar to a simple pollen painting/dusting but the water keeps it from getting into the air? Pardon my ignorance

@Oldschool - Thanks, definitely alot cooler temps in November than I am getting now, even though its so damn cold out here.....guessing the cold brought more purpling....

@KTA - It is a technique I learned on OG. Here is the thread that got me started trying this technique. Great explanation here. I tried it in round 1 but my males, got neglected and I was not able to harvest but about 2-3 male pods - got about 6 seeds from that time. This time, they are getting lots of fresh pollen in the water and I am expecting bigger results and larger quantities of seeds due to the influx of fresh pollen water. Time will tell, but the buds definitely showed a reaction to the water. Hope that helps and good luck in your grow.
