Shoreline (Devils Harvest Seeds)

Recommended Posts

Thanks Native Roots, hope she will smoke great :)

She was real oily and sticky when handling her. Only, not really looking forward for the trimming when dry...:P

Greetings!

Thanks Wrecks, appreciate the comment :)

Tonight another update on the chocberry.

Ya'll will see the pistils turned but this is due to a little to long dry and then I watered them.

It ran straight true and I letted them soak it up again from under.

Don't know for sure but think that's the reason.

Looking forward to chopping this week hopefully. :)

Greetings!

High all,

3w 24/24

10w 12/12

Bit in a bad mood now cause I just broke a tomato plant in my 'garden' I lifted the pot and the it broke on its own weight.

Plus I'm sweating my ass off in this warm weather lately. I like good weather though but when something goes wrong its like an extra irritation above everything else.

Also hoping the warm weather won't influence the aromas of the chocberrys, even doubting about chopping before the heat-'storm'(tommorow) they predicted.

What do ya'll think??

Plants look amazing, got some real nice quality head gear right there.

I know how you feel, killed a few tomato plants myself this year. Working some new seedlings now, trying to recover.

This year, climate change in my area means it will be 90 F (32 C) a few days, then the high will only reach 72 F (22 C) for a few days. Kind of nice to have the cool days, but I don't imagine they will last.

High all,

I went in and decided it was enough. They wasn't as oily as before when touching the buds so I felt it was time to chop them.

Wasn't gonna risk they dried out because of that dry stress moment. So anyways...

Chocolate Berrys chopped at 72 days of flowering.

LIKE - LIKE - LIKE - Out so I am improvising.

The Choco berry look great, and looks like they gave you a decent yield. :whatthahell:

Have you snuck a taste yet of the shoreline? That was one frosty lady, and the purples came out towards the end, looked goregous, and I assume the Shoreline is jarred up and curing now. When should I come by for a taste??? :spliff:

Great work and keep it up!

You don't see this on other sites, people. Creativity abounds here.

Thanks starinhazy.

The shoreline is still drying and iff it's like the premature pollinated sisterplant i chopped before, It will be a candy smelling cheesy funk smoke.

She is quite a looker, first time for me growing that type of buds (besides the Tahoe OG was more pointy) Quite leafy for me personally. Will be great for the vape or bubblebags.

I will put little smoke reports later on when everything is ready.

The chocberry i grew before but was under Tneon lights (fluobulbs). Was great smoke lemony choc hints. https://www.opengrow.com/topic/44395-chocolate-berry-freebee/ . Here's the link iff you're interested :)

HAHA you have me cracking up misterdirt :D lol

A great tease for some more ;)

Smell: Fruity, Candy

Taste: Creamy, Cheesy with a layer of OG Kush-like around it drenched in candy

Effect: Mild, Relaxed, Stoned

The Shoreline looks real nice with that purple look. She smokes even better. It's a very fruity cheesy smoke with like an sweet OG touch to it.

It's certainly something you can smoke all day for the taste alone. She doesn't really have a strong kick, it's quite mellow and relaxed.

Haven't really overindulged on it (yet) but I can figure iff you smoke enough it will put you in a nice dreamy stage.

I can also say I got alot of nice trim of the buds. I thaught the yield was gonna be very little because of all the leafs but as you can see there were some nice buds undere there.

Smell: Flowery Choco hints of Blueberry

Taste: "Refined", Soft flowery Choco with some Blueberry funk in the back

Effect: Strong High

I grew the chocberry before and it was like coming home again. The smoke is much fuller now. Its a nice soft flowery chocolate taste with some blueberry funk in the back. It's very special taste. I don't know why but it's like a gentleman smoke. That's why I putted the refined under taste. It's like a good sunday smoke, that something special in your weekend.

For me It has a good strong high which kicks rather fast. Red eyes with blank stares could be common. You need to keep smoking I think to keep that high before the hammer comes and turns you into a foodcabinet-slaying zombie.

Trimming was a minimal and was a pleasure to do. Yield was again higher then expected which is always nice. I know the chocberry can give big yields as the only plants I saw on the forum were huge.

Smell: Bit more fresh Choco

Taste: Refined Choco

Effect: Strong High

Very similar in taste and effect but bigger yield. Note that they were both in the same 15L container.

I did crunch up a seed in a joint and pulcked one away. I think I will have some more suprises I will be carefull grinding it up.

While trimming I didn't see anything but bud. That leads me to think she was infected with some Shoreline pollen.

Anyways that doesnt spoil the smoke at all. Great strong high aswell and great yield compared to rest.

All in all I got around 70gr of bud in total and guessing around 15gr of good sugar trim (didnt weigh that). Again a grow which didn't go as smooth as I would have wanted but very pleased with what I pulled off here.

On to the next one!

Greetings!

Had the pleasure to try some nice little sample. I can confirm the great job !

I'm not so good at description but I agree with him.

I find one of the choco berry to have more of a choco taste but couldn't be sure if it is the same as him. The other one got more of a fresh mix of both for me. From person to person it is subjective..

The Shoreline was really a great one ! I did try some Shoreline in the Dam, smell wasn't exactly same (let's say same family) but the connection from smell to taste is on the same kind. Some fresh taste from the wood slightly picking your nostrils ! Love it ! And the taste is of the same kind, kind of skunk. Wonder if some pine is in there... It's almost like menthol/pine ! I was a bit sick and it's so good letting my nostrils over and hit !

Keep on growing you own, Lex !
