Jamaica today produces many, many different varieties, like all the other pot producing countrys. As far as I kow the term Lambread was always used for a certain strain AND for superior sativa (dominant) weed. Haven't found the extreme sativa yet but there sure has been some nice hybrids to be found kinda grows like a indica to start and at bud onset they take on the look of sativa 9 week flower and purple stalks ! Had one last year super grape smell and taste reminded me of hanging on the beach drinking red stripe and eating jerk chicken ! now you made me want to go to jamacia! 4 different varietys so who knows might find the holy grail still !
