Sugarpunch, Mad Kush, Candy Kush, Chucky's Bride and more

Recommended Posts

Damn its finally getting to be winter around these parts, the nights are cold and I gotta warm the house somehow. So lets fire up another round. I'll be doing Sannies Organic program again on cocos, just like the current round. They'll get started in the propagator and will move to the small tent with the T5 for a short veg, maybe 2-3 weeks tops, followed by the 600w HPS and the big tent. Might be making some updates to the whole setup soon, got some cash coming in from a past employer that hadn't payed out fair wages. Thanks to my Union and their lawyers, I'll be getting a hell of a Christmas present on my bank account any day. But now to the matter at hand:

Sprouting;

4 X Sugarpunch (fem)

5 X Mad Kush (fem)

1 X Candy Kush (fem)

5 X Chucky's Bride (regular)

5 X YOU DECIDE!! Yes, you chose the last 5 seeds to make into the tent. Below is a picture of all the possible strains to choose from, I got room for 5 more. The first person to respond can tell me which strain they'd like to see grown and its done, the seeds will get planted right away. The sooner the better! Here some winners to choose from...

Nice lineup. I want to grow all of those. Not that I have all of them. Ivote for pineapple diesel. Exciting times always at the beginning of the grow. Good luck.

I'll give you some advice and don't do Pineapple Diesel. Mad Kush, Chucky's bride and Sugar punch if pinched before flower can and probly will all stay short

and squat. 3 out of 5 Pineapple diesels were insanely lanky and stretchy - like a 5" planted ended up being 15" by the end.

Huckleberry Kush is a good candidate since it is squat as well, but may need a bit more veg.

Jackberry Mad scientist will likely stretch a lot 2. Mad s and some jackberry are very stretchy.

Also look at your times to harvest. Mad Kush 8-9 weeks, Chucky - 8 week, Huck Kush - 8 week, Sugar punch 9-10 week, Pineapple Diesel 9-10 week. JBMS - 8 week.

Others I have no experience with.

what bout NL`X`odus ?

i´ll be watching,GoodLuck!!

Sorry dudes, first one decides, Saxo decided for me an chose the NLXodus. Already dropped the seeds, 4 in total. Excellent choice on this strain, its from Eskobar's Cheese Mix, and should complement the Chucky's Bride perfectly. Its an interesting strain and right up my alley. If I'm not mistaken, the NLX was a very popular strain in Switzerland back in the days. A cross of Northern Lights and White Widow, both very popular back in the short lived golden days of swiss cannabis culture. Personally, I've always been a big fan of the White Widow, never grown it, but between 98 and 2001 smoked myself silly on it. I remember walking into a "shoe store" and the guy tried to sell me some pressed White Widow, I was like "why in the hell would you take such beautiful buds and press the shit outa them?". The answer was, pressed this stuff was even more amazing, because it had such a high trich production, it would literally turn into a little crystal ball with light green specks here or there. This stuff would turn ya into a zombie for about 3 hours. Those were nice times, miss those days.

Hey there thanks for the advice, but I did put some thought into my selection. The Sugarpunch that I'm currently flowering is an impressive specimen and I already know that I will want more of this stuff, no doubt about it. But this strain is rather stretchy, really goes off like a rocket during flowering and gets kinda lanky. The Candy Kush does the same thing, super stretchy during the first few weeks, so its a perfect match. The Chucky also stretches a good bit, but not quiet as much as the Sugarpunch and Candy Kush, so it will get a bit less training. All three have an open structure. The only strain that is not a good fit in terms of stretch and structure is the Mad Kush, like you mentioned, its a pretty stout plant and stays fairly short. But I don't care, I just really want some Mad Kush, its probably the best strain that I've ever grown and I really miss having it. The newest addition, the NLXodus I have no clue about, but I have two tents so I can split the group into two, if it becomes necessary.

So glad to have you all aboard, I truly appreciate the support :) Pull up a chair and grab a heavy indica to pass the time, cause its gonna be a while before this thread gets interesting.

You guys are right though, never seen anything on this strain, or much of the Cheese Mix in general, so I think its great that Saxo picked an "unknown". The unknowns are my favorite strains to document. After all, I do these threads to share a passion, I do it to be part of a underground movement, I do em to get props (for my ego, ya know how it is), I do them to learn, I do them to document my hobby, but mostly I do them to create a quality documentation on strains, especially the unknown ones. Cause I remember when I first got into this hobby, it was a pain in the ass to find decent info on "unknown" strains. Most strains were undocumented, or the grow reports were started but never finished, or they were crappy, either way I realized that if I didn't do a proper job either, other people wouldn't profit from it and so the spiral goes on and on. This forum is an exception, in the sense that there are a lot of well documented grow reports with high quality pics, so lets keep that up! This way many fellow growers can profit from it and no body says no to some stellar bud porn.

Ach ja das wird ein schöner Winter in meinen Alpen. Für das Grünzeug ist gesorgt, jetzt fehlt nur noch der Schnee.

There are always seats available, even for the dark side. Lurk, yes I've grown a pack once before and have missed the smoke ever since. I totally agree with you, the MK was not only super kushy, tasty, very very potent, but in general an all around plant. She's the whole package; Strong roots, fast growth, very strong stems, beefy structure, big colas, insane trich production, great yield, very tasty, and even more potent. A lot of phenos and everyone is a keeper in its own way, but I preferred the sour super frost monster pheno, it was the whitest plant that I've grown and had a sour kush taste, with something almost chemical (if you've every been stupid enough to try to smoke coke on a bowl, I have, not proud of it, was young and stupid, anyways, it has a similar taste) to it.

here's the link to the grow

https://www.opengrow.com/topic/47921-completed-grow-mad-kush-cheeseberry-haze-jackberry-x-ko-kush/page__fromsearch__1

That should give you an idea of what to expect, although I gotta say that I'm no expert, only grown one pack (5 seeds) so far. I should grab another bag as well, cause it took a long time to get it back in stock the last time. Ps...all 5 Mad Kush seeds have sprouted, the first ones to break ground

Mister L420 i took a look behind the link and i was amazed with what i saw there. Those MK buds look mighty tasty and powerful! The way you discribe "the monster frosty one" gave me a deja-vu (from my first real grow...) and makes me wanna trow my MK´s in those spongepot immediately :verrygood

Merry Xmas to you and the litle ones!
