Holy root zones, Batman. :) They should like all of that soil.

I've seen others cover the soil with plastic. I am just curious; what is that for?

It's like a mulch keeps moisture in

@all

ty for your nice comments

@santerro my like s are empty

but i like your comment :)

@wrecks

sannie give me the advice

he also spotted startup problems in my herijuana grow.

because i didnt cover my soil.

you can see it in the leaves.

the first couple of days after the where born.

after my herijuana plants shadow coverd my soil

these minimal leave problems went away.

thats why i take his advice and listen

not only because sannie has got way more experience then me

and he is the breeder of these strains

but also because i can see wat he means,

when i look at my herijuana grow log

i already knew this

but never try d it my self.

from now on i keep covering my soil

because you also dont have to water them

in the first 7 days

after you waterd them in

whit 10 % of the container content .

for example a 10 liter container

needs to get 1 liter water at start

cover the soil up

and put them in veg

and hf

after your plants shadow covers your soil.

you can remove the materiaal

sannie

Please put some black/white or other reflecting material on top of your soil !

This prevent the soil will dry out and the moisture and temp will be much more stable, You will see explosive grow when you have done this

Enjoy your kolossus grow

This is a strain I need to try. I think I've grown about 3 strains with Ms. U. as a parent -- all quite noteworthy. Good luck.

you sad it mr dirt

from wat i have seen

ms.universe make a great parent.

my goal is to learn how to breed

but on a small scale

and i dont start of to make a regular cross

but i am gonna cross reg male x fem female

and try to make a f2 and so on

my goal this run is

1 collect pollen

2 grow some nice lady s

the next run

i have got a different goal .

first change in the next run is

4x 11 literpots

because im gonna put a FEM strain in the cab

goal 1 =

select the most beautiful lady in the cab

goal 2=

to use the pollen,

that was collected from the ms universe male.

and pollinate the selected lady

i dont plann f.urther ahead

me need to acomplish these goals

in the next 2 runs.

before i make planns to make a f2

:showoff: that's not veg bro, still finishing to germinate ;)

to put them on 12/12 from this stage might just slow you down. even when you give em 12/12, they need to grow a minimum before they can be able to flower, they will just keep on vegging for a good while until they are ready and mature enough to produce flowers

and on 12/12 the veg time will be even longer

good luck! can't wait to see what those baby will do for you!! :yummy:

i tought in english

18/6 means veg

imo

a plant always need to mature before the flower

a plant take about 3 weeks before the mature and start flowering

thats why i start counting flower

not when i switch to 12/12

but when i see the first pistels coming tru

Hi machucha do you usually use 9 pots in a 60x60cm tent? will you to Scrog them? and do you like the DR60? I want get this setup aswell 250w but can you have a one big 60x60 pot or do plants not do so well together? Also what you think of 2x150w HPS or the 315w cmh with or without cool tube. What are temps like in your tent so far or not worth it get bigger tent?

im not gonna scrog but sog

when i grow fem seeds

i put 4x 11 liter

you can also use 1 big pot

when i grow reg i put 9x6.5 liters

after the plants show sex the lady s have more room

and only 1 male is gonna survive

before i harvest his pollen

my tent =60x60x140

my temp is between 27/28

i use this fan

:G-tools 125/ 2 positions

capaciteit 220/360 m3

maximum airflow:620 m3/uur

filter is from prima klima. filter PK-K2602.

also use a clip on fan

i use 250 hpi bulb for veg

i put a 250 hps bulb in when the first flowers show

this round i still use my vsa

but i have bought a lumtec evsa that can boost to 275

you can also dim it

next round i put it in

i'm speaking out of my ass right now but I think its only possible with 400 watts bulbs. but it gives you the option as far as power outtake so that's good. I think the price difference is very negligible between both bulbs so...

I have 600 watts hps but when heat becomes an issue I turn my ballast down to 400 watts :)

cheers

It looks like a happy family. Babies are so cute. On a side note: Although Sannie didn't mention it; you may want to use light blocking plastic (like b&w poly) for covering your soil with the white side up. (It's really inexpensive also if that's a concern.) The white side reflects light to ur plants but blocks the light's access to the soil. Using clear or translucent plastic can cause algae/fungus growth on the soil surface which gets a pretty color of green if you let it go. It's the same idea as using cube caps with rockwool...

Just a suggestion for what it's worth.

thanks-

Passion
