The ladies are @ 49 days in veg. #7 on the right has the best structure.

They had a dose of veg food today. They are healthy but a bit light on N. One more week of veg and they go to flower.

The males in flower are starting to alternate, so flowering should be around the corner.  There are a few balls, but no clusters forming.

I've been thinking hard about running the Green Manalishi F2 Honey hashplant freebee and make a cross with Black Afghani. Hmmmm...

Here's a shot of BA cuts that were taken 5 days ago. No roots yet, but they are happy. On the right is a solo SF.

The ladies are starting to take off. They will be making the switch shortly.

For the record, I am a dumb ass. I just realized today my flower tent timer was on 24/7.  Not sure how long it's been like this, or how it happened, but I put the BA males in a month ago and not a single flower. I put the females in 6 days ago, nothing as well. At least I caught it.

Here's a heavy dose of defoliation. The males are in the middle, ladies at the corners. I'll pull the males once I see balls forming and let them finish outside the tent.

If it's not one thing it's another, at various times, in this hobby.  I have roots on at least one of every plant, including Silverfields.

Silverfields is gone take it deep and hard from Black Afghani.

Here's a shot 6 days after defoliation. I opened up the ladies with soft wire ties. My little timer fiasco definitely put held them back. I am finally seeing formation of balls and pistils.

#7 is a gorgeous Christmas tree. View from above.

The Silverfields cut died, no big deal, momma is in veg. And, I see blueberry sativa is in the shop, I think a shot of Black Afghani would make a great cross.

Here are BA males 1, 5 and 10 on the right. 10 has best branching and the most red striping on stem.

Before I destroy it, is there any reason to use this pollen? Internet search was useless, I figure this is bad juju.

I'm with you. I have 2 other makes, one big and branchy, the other smaller and less tops, though it looks to have more resin. They are young, only 15 days in flower.

Good enough. No need to stress over unnecessary clutter in my mind, and the tent. Thanks for the push everyone.

A little over a week later, the girls are starting to bud and fill in. I'll be pulling fans again soon.

Here they are, looking very pitiful after a heavy defoliation.  It's a sad sight, but they will rebound.

I spread them all open a bit today. They are at 23 days in flower.

They are starting to show frost, no trichs on stalks yet.  I also turned down my light to 50% from 75%, the upper pistils are a bit shrivelly. I don't have much headspace, so my light is about 16" above the plants. 400w of COB blasts the 3x3, so I need to find the balance.

Are you doing Octopots? Looks like one... I want some but It'll be tight to catch them while on sale. I may get one at the very least.

That is a 6 gal octopot. My thought is to take the best BA female from current selection and run her to maximize yield.

Every now and then I push a seed into the living room plant for random germ tests. Here's one looking for light.

That's funny, I found one in my Geranium in the front window the other day when watering. Looks exactly the same. Only thing I can think is I was taking pinches of nutes out of the bag and must have gotten a seed from last years harvest. One fell into my nute bag maybe? I don't know how it got there. I have seeds everywhere now.. lol. I just find them and put them all in a bag for mystery seeds. I give them to friends in the mountains who could care less what their names are, heh. I was gonna take a pic of mine, but haven't yet. It's about 6 inches long, lol..
