I'm having an issue with male flowers showing up on all plants. Not heavy and taking over, sneaky and underneath. I am thinking the stress from heavy defoliation has something to do with it. There are no light leaks and I haven't read about hermi issues with BA.

I have backups of all 4, so I am gonna run whoever floats my boat without extreme defoliation and hope for a clean run. Well, besides the tent. She's in need of TLC.

Up close at 42 days. #7 smells like very sweet berry.

#2 smells like very sweet berries. Buds bigger than #7, a bit less frost.

20190220_163142.thumb.jpg.0aa66324d41f605414c328be4913c02a.jpg

#9 has decent bud size but faint berry scent

20190220_163232.thumb.jpg.863893d056609c63354af5634ba16113.jpg

#3 has an astringent faint berry scent.

If I am to choose now, 2 and 7 stay based solely on the amazing sweet berry smell. Frost makes 7 a winner, just gotta experience the bud.

5 little lovelies, Blueberry Sativa seedlings that sprouted 3 days from going into rooters. The 5 Tom Hill Haze have not popped yet. They are in rooters on a heat mat at 78, hopefully two make it to increase the odds of a male.

Silverfields momma is going into flower tent soon. I rolled it out of the bag, trimmed roots, repacked her with new soil.  I also cut out a bunch of scraggly crap to open her up.

I plucked a few male flowers from the Black Afghani ladies, I am gonna hit a SF branch and see about some lady seeds.

She's about 6 months old. I need space, so she's coming out. I am counting on BBS to fill the gap. This is her first root prune, I expect her to respond well. I have cut her back quite a few times.  Once she perks up she goes to flower.

I am gonna flower BA cuts #2 and #7 in  7 gallon bags, so the veg tent needs room for those bags. What I should do is find a place for one of the aloes.

I was going to mention the Aloe.. I was wondering if it maybe just snuck in there. It reminds me of the play I saw a long time ago, Little Shop of Horrors where the plant keeps eating people and always needs more.. FEED MEEE!!!

Silverfields momma is in flower. Darker purple is starting to show up on #7, and almost all of her pistils are brown and shriveled. Seeds are only 20 days in the making on all plants, so I have a while to wait.

#2 and #7 cuts are now in 7 gallon bags and will veg until seed production is complete. Cuts for the remaining BA are on hold for potency verification.

For full disclosure, the cuts, which were in solo cups for 55 days, are in a 50/50 blend of Foxfarm Ocean Forest and Happy Frog, with 20% added rice hulls.

I don't have enough soil mixed to currently fill two 7 gallon bags, so the local nursery got my business. I've read good things about the mix, we'll see.

They're not bad. i normally use those two depending which one is on sale, to cut my Pro Mix or Sunshine#4 this last year... I may like Pro Mix better. But those two are pretty rich. Our nursery has them on sale at all times. One or the other of the two normally. Gotta make my own stuff this year. But, until it's finished, I'll keep doing the same.

And, one Tom Hill Haze decided to send taproot up instead of down. I split the rooter, flipped the little guy, covered it and hope I didn't stress it any more than it already was.

Man, I hope the haze makes it for you. It'll probably never miss a beat. How much longer for the BA? Getting some black on a few of the leaves.

Hey MrG.  #7 is a fast one that maybe has a week, the others have at least 2 weeks.  Still waiting to see the buds bulk up on all of them, trichs are starting to change. I am like JetDro right now, the finish is taking forever.

The haze is peeking out of the rooter this morning! I hope that little taproot settles in. Better yet, I hope a few more join the party.  Very slow to germ, that is for sure.

I soaked them for a day before putting in rooters, but I probably should have scuffed them before soaking. The BBS germed in a couple of days, 5/5. I am gonna use a male BBS the same as I would a male haze, it'll be interesting to see the differences between offspring.

How old are the Haze seeds? I forgot. Glad one is trying! I'm pretty excited for that one!

Unfortunately, I woke up to a dead soldier.  There are 4 BBS still doing their thing.

Also, not so sure about the THH. I'm still holding out hope, but there has been no progress with the sprout. :(

Still holding out hope, but the Tom Hill Haze aren't gonna make it. So, I am soaking 4 Sagarmatha Stonehedge, which is Kambogna x Western Winds. We'll see if I can get some Sativa out if this one.

I was afraid to start mine yet. I need to get set up better first. Also, it's been so cold the seedlings don't care for it too much. I have 8 going and they're pretty freaking slow and pitiful looking. 3 degrees again this morning, and snowing again. It won't get above 20 I don't guess. 16 was the high yesterday.. I want to make sure the house or grow room will be warm when I try them.

Better luck next time.

Another gem. Just gonna have to baby them. I’ll sure pull up a chair for that one.
