Cinnamon Honey

Finished up my infused honey, I made this batch for day use for patients out of Cannatonic #4, for CBD.

 

I heated it for a few hours at 130, you don't want to take honey at too high a temp, then let it sit for a week. Each day I would put it in a double boiler, heat it, stir, then recap. The last day I leave the lid off, heat gently until the alcohol dissipates.

 

This batch I used 1 cup of honey, a splash or two of alcohol, and cinnamon sticks to 19 grams of bud. I ended up grinding some fresh at the end of cinnamon and adding it, that is what you see in the picture it isn't cannabis lol. I wanted the cinnamon taste stronger. I think next time I will put more cinnamon sticks in or perhaps heat them alone in the honey before I add the cannnabis.

more taste u can use grinded cinamon.. perhaps the best to boil in water and let for a day than filter it..u can do it in alcohol also.

I love doing this, it gets me geeky weird lol kind of like you all about strains

 

I did take some and ground the fresh stick in there. Good Idea, I think the alcohol would really pull that cinnamon.

 

I have to say, it is hard to cook with decarbed CBD, taste like straight up dog poo lol. The cinnamon totally covered the taste.

Every time I've tried vaping CBD oils I can't help but notice the, shall we say, less than wonderful flavor. LOL I'll get the medibles figured one day. I guarantee not on your level though. I don't have the patience. The closest I'd be able to get to making medicated honey would be trying to figure out how to have a beehive in my growroom.
