Argos office a work in progress

Recommended Posts

Looking fantastic, Argo!

I'm definitely digging your construction skills. Remodels suck but they always give a sense of satisfaction at the end, especially if you're doing most of the work yourself.

Keep it coming man, enjoying the thread...now you've got nl in the mix? hot damn!

Plants at day two of flip gonna run the nutes a little weak as the plants nave never been above 900 ppm yet.

Hey Steve The girl is a Hemcy seed co (no longer in business) F3 durban poison. It is being crossed with a old seattle cut called red gold (WW) mixed with a skunk#1 boy. I lost most of the frost in the cross but I like the flavor of it and the boy has dominate good shoots and roots. The odds are i end up with RW (regular weed) but occasionally you get a pleasant surprise.

The testers I got from PJ were all fire. Dense trics and stacking bud structure on both I ran. The guy knows his stuff!

Well i had 3 hours to myself today so i decided to wash my Kief. Rolling tray gold is great but it is actually is pretty green.

gallery_16840_5710_22840.jpg

So the plan is simple three vigorous washing runs using clean water and a couple of wide mouth quart jars (a scientific beaker and giant stopper would be way cooler but the wide mouth mason is pretty hard to beat.) After a vigorous shaking let the water settle out. It takes about 40 min each wash.

gallery_16840_5710_39686.jpg

grab a pizza and roll a doob.

gallery_16840_5710_815912.jpg

2nd run squeezed out in the pressing screen , fluffed and photographed.

gallery_16840_5710_33895.jpg

Then let it settle and pour off the water trying not disturb the kief settled on the bottom. Shake the shit out of it again and grab another slice of pizza and another doobie and watch the cool tric sno-globe

rinse and repeat the water will get clearer with each pass.

sml_gallery_16840_5710_99035.jpg

3rd rinse all settled 32 min.

gallery_16840_5710_1457.jpg

You don't want to wait more time than it takes to for the kief settle out. If you leave it too long the plant material becomes water logged and sinks to the bottom wasting your time .

I save the pour off in a bucket.

gallery_16840_5710_95233.jpg

Then run the good stuff at the bottom thru a kitchen strainer with a pressing screen or a coffee filter etc.

gallery_16840_5710_26054.jpg

Take the pressing screen and the goodies and press it in a old cotton towel to get most the water out. I then i dry it on a piece of cardboard (thirsty) after three or four hours i fluff it up with a card then move it to a screen to dry overnight.

gallery_16840_5710_85481.jpg

Tomorrow i will coarse screen it to break up the clumps and re jar it for use later.

gallery_16840_5710_110304.jpg

After I am all done i will run the pour off thru the 1 gal 5screen bubble bag set Just to catch most of it.

Left and middle starting material right tray Post wash.

gallery_16840_5710_94658.jpg

You can also do three runs letting it dry between washings as it seems to get more green out for a higher quality but who has time for that... if you let it dry and fluff it up between each run it is a three day project but the end product is of higher quality. I am sure there is a better way but this works if you don't have a set of bags around.

Pics from this A.M. I had two durbans stretch 12" in two nights wow! look how tight the nodes were then bam! I am finding that the coco/clayball/coarse coco/fine coco and earthworm castings is a mix that when paired with the air pot is a thirsty ready to be driven hard plant that is impossible to overwater This mix of substrate demands to be driven hard. the big Durban is crying with only morning feedings at 1200 ppm ec

stretch in two nights almost 12"

gallery_16840_5710_56288.jpg

The pollen in the wardrobe nick named the HMS or the PP is scaring me being only feet away from the coco girls. I have plenty of fresh seed stock . Doh So far so good how ever I will probably just bag the boy and hose down all the the plants so i am not sorting seeds again!

Veg is holding it's own despite my lack of interest. I am a bit excited about the 2 unmarked broad leaf indicas i put in 5 gal air pots I believe it is one of my crosses between a sensi hindu kush and a royal queen bluematic. about every one in twenty is fully auto hows that for a head scratch-er

gallery_16840_5710_155223.jpg

Hydro has me worried based on the plants in cocoairpots recent overnight stretch of 8" and 12 in two days. I think some 4x4 trellis might be going in this afternoon! and some might get topped.

Have a good night and a safe workweek!

Well i cut down the redlight x skunk#1 male. I went back and checked my notes this plant was incorrectly labeled the female in question is really a Power plant x Williams hope So.../.The (Redlight x Skunk #1 )x (Power plant x Williams hope ) Pollination looks to be successful so i hosed down the cab and bagged the male. Then i gave the female a shower waited two hours and gave her another spray down and put her in the closet.

Power plant x Williams hope pollinated with a Redlight x Skunk#1 all hosed down and back in general pop.

gallery_16840_5710_14672.jpg

I need to get the trellis put in the tent and do another hair cut. i will start pulling males as they show It's looking pretty good in there so far on the % of girls showing.

gallery_16840_5710_124727.jpg

The veg will need to be watered tomorrow

gallery_16840_5710_10029.jpg

The coco girls got fed and rearranged tonight. I am contemplating using some H&G shooting powder on these in the next week or so to try and drive em a bit harder. I am still on the fence.

ok cool, so i don't recall ARGO 430, Over Grow , there were so so many of us. i think i got their around 03/04 , and had joined Moles Uranium Cranium crew . i still have beans from 05 that would make me real happy if they germed , not holding my breath, but will attempt it still . after OG went south many of us ended up and icrag, and planet ganja .

i need to stop by , and holler at the folks who still frequent the new mini version of PG just to let them know i actually ordered gear to grow again. stuff was supposed to arrive today; but got a call saying it would be tomorrow because a lift gate was available today.

So, tomorrow is supposed to be the day .

take care mang, i'm going to be peeping back here for sure. :dribble:

I didn't get one for Thanksgiving so I am making my own . Whats that I am going on about you ask? Well it's a bleeping Mother effin Piecaken? Whats that you ask again? (well at least in my head you asked that...)

Not one to waste any time dropping new gifted seeds, here goes nothing. Thanks to to an old /new friend Mr. Show from another neighborhood i am going to start a j within a j. A piecaken of sorts to ring in the 12/12 holiday.

Yummy

med_gallery_16840_5710_230290.jpg

I fired up the honeymoon suite changed the name plate to nursery 1 . I did the hydrogen peroxide and oxy clean wipe down of all the involved equipment including the fans, trays, dome and cords and wiped all the cab surfaces. Next I soaked a brick of starter cubes in 5.5 and did the cowboy with a pillow sack thing. So lets try this again with out the root acid bath..... Drum roll...........

Northern Lights RE deux. a 12/12 journey.

med_gallery_16840_5710_116297.jpg

As soon as they sprout and get two branches of true leaves we are flipping the lights. The 12/12 from seed run has begun. The plan is hand water the rockwool starter cubes using the GH 3-part formula straight from the back of the bottle with nothing but silica and recharge to be added as supplements.

med_gallery_16840_5710_21795.jpg

Here we Go....

gallery_16840_5710_219928.jpg

I will select the two shortest stickiest to back cross and the rest will hit the drip system yet to be fabricated.

My cab a"C-13" flat pack wardrobe I bought at home depot fo 89 dollars has been used for 10+ years under many configs here is one of her looks.

gallery_16840_5710_57648.jpg

gallery_16840_5710_83876.jpg

I might be ahead on the curve about 3 weeks but we will see what happens. I have some space in a 2x2 tray and a little head room to work with and the 2x2 ho 8 tube t5's will take the shift until they won't. here we go.....
