Has the mixing action straight in the 90 forced some green through the 90 mesh , maybe mixing in a kitchen sieve would be better , then the forced through plant particles would have been bigger , which the 90 would have then caught / sieved out just letting the smaller trichs fall through , to be caught in the 35 ?

For 90 mesh, that is pretty green, looks like the plant was worked to much....

I save everything from my 220, 120 and 73 mesh bags. The 220 has some green, both 120 and 73 are tan and yield the most. I keep the 220, figure why toss it, it may not be quality hash, but it’s definitely mostly trichomes, and I don’t complain about green in my bud...lol..

here are pics of my last wash, Rhino Blood from the OctoPot.

close up 73, about a 1/3 of it is gone...the wife likes topping off a bowl with a chunk.

and last the 220, you can see the small plant particles in there, but overall, nothing wrong with adding this to a joint

Mixing everything in a bucket with just your largest mesh bag works well. It makes it a little easier to agitate the ice, water and bud without beating up the bags. Let all the good stuff fall into the bottom of the bucket. Then stack your desired bags in a separate bucket, pour all the material from the bucket through your bags.

That was my first thought, too.

Maybe to long / hard stirring the plant.

That looks tasty Justcozz! I have the ice-o-lator washing machine but maybe 15 minutes is too long. Or the plant material was not of the best quality? I'll try some more.

This is how i go to work too, with the exception that i use a machine to stir sold by the same polinator company.

I can hardly imagine that the machine designed to stir the hash with, would have a clock on board with too much time or stir too hard. I set it to 15 minutes the first time (which is the longest you can stir) then for the second run to 10 and the third to five. In between those runs i sieve the water with pollen through the bags. first through the 220 micron working bag, than through the 90 micron bag and last through the 35 micron bag, which should contain the bubble that makes it worth the trouble.

Those machines are not designed for ice hash first, they´re build as washing machines for camping etc..

For my experience with ice hash, 15 min. stirring is way to long, but I don´t know the machine.

Maybe she is very gentle, but when I used a mixer or drilling machine I used them for 5Min. in the first round.

On the next rounds I stirr the hell and green out of the leafs.

I did it the other way around, in the beginniing 5Min. than ca.10Min. and so on...

You stir only five minutes? Okay! I'll try that next round too.

Yep, but only the first round, second round I go up to ten min..

I use a drill machine with a big wisk for wall paint, think your machine is much more gentle than my.

Now when dry the same hash i posted a picture of doesn't appear to be green anymore.

The taste is good and the effect too, but it isn't oily and black like the hash i sieved with the 60 micron bag a year ago or longer. And it don't bubble when burned.

The  Shiva Skunk cuts have been moved to the flowering room and are in their first week of 12/12

The plant in the middle of the last row yellowed out a bit, which doesn't look pretty but is luckily not a big issue. I will increase nutriment the next watering some more to stop this process from continuing.

Sieving a different stash of waste through a 90 micron bag gave a far better result. Though not oily and black, this is a very good smoke.

It is reminiscent of high grade Moroccan dry sieved hash. Very happy with the quality even though the quantity is very small. Only 3 grams from 200 grams of waste.

The above hash was sieved through a 90 micron bag and collected with a 34 micron bag. And the following was sieved twice through a 220 bag and collected with a 90 micron bag. Is that 90 micron hash or 220?

Whichever it is, it is a fine smoke! :)

Here's how the eight Lemon Haze and one Northern Light plants on soil are doing.

I haven't grown on soil for a while, but in smaller set ups i find it rather convenient.

Sounds good Jet! Luckily in a few weeks i can harvest my current Amnesia grow, cause i am fresh out of it!

The Shiva Skunk clones are entering week two of flowering. Since they are all cut from the same mother, it troubles me that one of the plants keeps yellowing out.

See what i mean? The one next to her also starts to  show signs. Note that the plants were sleeping when i took the picture.  Next watering i will increase the nutriment some more.

I am currently peparing for my next and probably final Amnesia Haze round with hps. Soon as i have the money i want to switch to led.

The remaining cuts from the mothers i kept outside this summer were tossed along with their moms because they degenerated too much. With the exception of the eight best looking ones that have to function as new mothers. I planted them into two 18 liter pots with soil. So each pot contains four cuts.

Best looking from an ugly bunch that is. They are growing but not so happy yet. Frankly they told me not to take a picture.
