Hello fellow OGers. It's been almost a year now since I joined Open Grow and I'm finally starting to get to know most of you better. So, after bugging the hell out everybody on their threads, and drooling over the AAA+ quality bud porn, that shows the skills of this community, I'm finally getting a chance to grow my own indoor without the stress of legality.

I just want to say first, thanks to all of you for being so kind to me and letting me hang with you while I try and brush off my own growing skills. I came here for that help and I have been well rewarded. My learning curve has grown steeper while here.

I have the ultimate respect for you all and I hope I never step on any toes unintentionally. Just tell me and I will adjust. Anyway, did I say I liked you guys?

I'm starting the thread not to show off my skills, since I'm not sure about them myself in an indoor grow, but to offer up my photos so I can hopefully ask you all for your thoughts, advice, tips, or anything else you wanna say.

I started this whole thing before I was ready fully, making my veg go longer than expected and a few other growing pains. I'm doing it all on a shoestring budget but managing to push ahead. After this first grow I should have more funds for upgrading, but for now..... let's get going!

Bear with me while I get started.

Anyone know how to re-size pics (make them smaller) once they've been uploaded? Do I have to do it in an editor first, before I upload them? Are they okay this size? seem big to me.. wow.

See you soon. I'll give some details next.

looking good Mr. G.

Nothing wrong with starting off with the bare minimum and adding new equipment as you go, I started off growing with CFl's I got from the grocery store and hung under my bed and worked my way through LED's to a 400w HPS and back to LED's again.

Thanks guys. They are exploding, yes, and the GMf2 is set to impress. All the NAW gear is looking that way. I'll get more info up later. Just got back in town and I have a lot to get caught up. They all busted flowers at the same time 4 days after flip. I had been lowering the hours to 13 and maybe with my long veg, they were just fooking ready!

I'll be getting more info up to explain what I have going on.

@Rhino, and Polder, the one plant by itself, above, is the GMf2. I'm having to open it up a little today as she says she's ready to play! I'll be getting pics up after I finish trimming some. I also have a 600w HPS now and I left some t-5 in as well. I'll get details up very soon. Thanks brothers of another mother!

They look great Mr.G! The plants look really happy and healthy, and so must then the grower who's responsible for them feel. You have been waiting for this moment for a while, and have started off with a bang. BIG thumbs up!

Man, thanks guys! This must be where you have to contact the mods to buy the "100 pack of Likes". I had a feeling it was all too good to be true. Gonna try and put up some info tonight I guess. I'm always the one everybody is waiting on. :D

Better get to work on it. I may need some serious help to pull this off! Maybe 24/7 running forum crisis hotline. You'll see what I mean soon.

Recommended listening....

JJ Cale:

https://www.youtube....rv25UTR_co&t=9s (a favorite anytime!).....

I love "Boilin' Pot", the 2nd track. Been listening to him since the seventies but, he recently passed away. Many groups played his songs, including Eric Clapton (Cocaine), and Dire Straits, and others.

Enjoy, since I'll be a minute...

Last track of the first half is a favorite also; "Sensitive Kind". he's addicting to me.

Well, let's see, I currently have 8 core plants that I started with, after a few dropping out. Some great folks were responsible for every plant I am growing, so all the glory to these kind people. I see it all over this community. So, you should all be proud of the kindness that you culture.

My plants were all vegged under t-5 combos and now are flowering under 600w hps with t-5 supplementing. My grow room is a bedroom with no door, no ventilation except when I pull the covers back in the morning, and low ceilings.

Nutes are Roots Organics Uprising line of dry nutrients and I'm really pleased so far. Very easy to tailor to your specific needs. I use their liquid Surge to water in sometimes and have Nitro Guano powder for additional nitrogen if needed, and HPK which is a bloom booster for after week 4 or 5 of flo.

Posted Image

My medium was a guess... I used ProMix HP Mychorizzae with a 2 part to a one part Fox Farm Ocean Forest cause it's what I had and amended the mix with some of the dry nutes, and potted with Myco powder by Great White.

Boring......

Okay, I have 8 of the core group I set out to grow.

NAW = 2-TPR, 1-G39 (one fooled me to the end.. and was separated), and 1- Green Manalishi f2

1 - Mad Scientist by Sannie and Knutsel

1- Rebel Yell x Herijuana by Indican/Sinister seeds

1 - KC36 by KC Brains of Holland

1 - Selene (Sannie) x Pineapple Chunk(Barney's Farm) cross from an OG member who I have no problem crediting if he's okay with it and if I do it justice lol.

I added in 1 - Sunshine Daydreamf2(?) by Bodhi and brought to f2 by the same OG member above (I think..), very late, so it's small but has huge leaves and will flower behind the rest.

I also recently put in 3 autos gifted to me from a friend, bred by Mephisto Seeds. 1 - Heisenberg Special (Walter White x 24 Karat) and 2 - Tyrone Special (Sour Crack x Auto Crack (Green Crack)). They're about 3 weeks in I think. I made them stunted, I think, through my own lack of knowledge. I now understand that they require almost no nutes at start and 1/4 to 1/2 of normal nutes thereafter. But!, they're robust little fuckers.

I have a few others that I started too early... sooo, flower them and see what gives! Lets's see... Hammerhead x Crater Lake v5 (AGP), a few maybe.. don't ask, mystery plants with no tag, ooops. uhh, and a SSDD again.

My two biggest, pun intended, challenge is the KC36 and the Selene x Pineapple Chunk. Both are currently at 5 feet tall and are in 3 gal/11L air pots.. doh!! (comedy ahead?) I just couldn't cut them. My light came too late.. or, did it? bwahhaha ha!

I flipped them about a week ago after a long, unintended veg while I waited to get an HPS. If I can pull it off I will not be sorry. The main core all showed flower after 4 days. I had been slowly dropping the light to 13 hours just before flip. So maybe a combination of long veg and slow intro into 12/12?

Okay, it's late, and I may have to edit this all over tomorrow, and I am high so I betterr get a pic or two going.
