I can't even hate, you're doing the Kronocaine far more justice than my setup would've. DesertGrown isn't exaggerating either, you're sure to be a big fan

Day 53 from seed;

As it turns out it ended up being pretty much a whole pollination of everything in the cabinet other than the younger Big Hero (Big Kush x Herijuana) which I guess didn't have many pistils.
Now I'm not sure this would be classed as an open pollination as there was only one target Kronocaine female?

Anyhoo I know i am not a photographer but heres some images... seed factory

There are some other pics of the others that got pollinated but I will place them in my SOG thread.

The other strains that got pollinated are Big Hero (Big Kush x Herijuana), Blue Widow and White Widow from Dinafem, Gorilla Bomb by Bomb Seeds and a little Rosetta Stone by Brothers Grimm

58 Days from seed.
the Kronocaine has/had a few male flowers show up but it's probably my fault because I have had the door open working in the cab a few times when the lights were off.

All is good and maturing up nicely and expect the seeds will be ready by the 21st of October when it and all the other pollinated plants will be chopped down. So if all goes well there is 3 weeks left.

I have never seen lanky spasms coming from the buds before other than in other peoples pictures.

heres my pictures.

Kronocaine @ 81 total days from seed.

Well it's chop down time at least for the main cola.

I had forgotten to take pictures before I done the chop so I held the trimmed cola in place on the plant and took a bunch of shots.
The lower half will grow for another week to help ensure more viable seeds.. 3 nice dark ones have already been removed from still closed calyxes but some of the ones that broke out of the calyxes early are still light in colour, maybe those ones detached and stopped growing?

I might have to get an experienced smoker to help with a smoke report.

Happy days.

Beautiful! Love the foxtails. Wouldn't worry about the lighter colored seeds, they're viable long before that perfect milk chocolate color comes in.

foxtailing generally comes from Heat but it also could have been the genetic I see you talk about lanky buds in the late nanners I would double check your temperature and humidity levels just to rule that out

I look forward to seeing what those seeds make

Temps are pretty good at 27c lights on (overnight) and 25-27c lights off (daytime), relative humidity normally sits at around 50% but can swing dramatically upwards during a storm.

My money is that it's just a freak.

I also look forward to what the seeds can make.

The rest of the lower buds on the Kronocaine and the rest of the cabinet were harvested and trimmed today so the cabinet will be retired now and soon a new 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m tent will be in it's place.

Looking great!

Do you grow on hydroballs only or is there soil underneath?

^Only with jiffy pellets or rockwool cubes to start clones or seedlings on top of the Hydroton clay pellets, nothing underneath.

Each pot holds about 1 litre of Hydroton pellets at 4 pots per square foot.

Wow, very nice job Pedro! I can't believe I never saw this thread. That thing turned out beautiful. My seed pack had nothing even resembling seeds in it. The Post Office smashed the crap out of it. Mine was Krono/Chocolate Rain, I think. Enjoy the smoke! I never had it before but always heard great things about it.

Hi Pedro, how did it end up smoking? Have you popped any of the offspring seeds yet? Freaking monster cola.

I'm not one of those guys that can distinguish different flavours and I am a light-weight smoker but what what I can tell you that the smoke was outstanding..
My friends that are heavy smokers tell me is was some of the best they have had.
