2 stoned 2 Report post Posted October 27, 2017 Hi(gh) USC-Team, just received your ColJam seeds and have a few questions: .) Can you tell me something about the parent plants? (e.g. which of these strains were used as father, which as mother) .) Are both strains line bred? .) Is this strain truly an f1 hybrid? This will be my very last breeding project (going into f2 [25,50,25], selecting for the psychedelic ones, stabilize etc...) so I appreciate every bit of useful information I can get! Thanks for any infos & hints, 2 stoned PS: I actually don't like to use the term 'stabilize' as you simply can't stabilize a strain! I prefer to call the process homogenize...
Dimitri 30 Report post Posted October 30, 2017 I'm not an expert on USC gear but AFAIK this isn't the F1 cross between Jamaican Lambsbread x Colombian Gold but rather an F2 backcross to the Colombian parent. Please correct me if I'm wrong. And I also don't think that they used the Colombian Gold '1972 for this project but rather a Colombian Gold '1960 or similar. I saw satva talk about this over at icmag a couple of months back. He's a big fan of the ColJam.
yesum 161 Report post Posted October 31, 2017 Colombian Gold '80 was used. Other than that no info.

2 stoned 2 Report post Posted November 4, 2017 Thanks for your replies! So I got no f1 hybrid seeds as advertised??? I really hope you're all wrong and the original breeder chimes in for some clarification! Original quote from U.S.C. on Sannie's shop: "This plant is a pure sativa, F1 cross between two inbred lines!!" Cheers, 2 stoned
Oldbootz 1 Report post Posted November 17, 2017 According to Satva it is an 80 Colombian gold x 60s Jamaican Lambsbread x 80 Colombian Gold And he does rave about it... I also heard it was this, a backcross to colombian
Dimitri 30 Report post Posted November 21, 2017 Here is another quote from the Sannie's shop: The new version of Coljam is arrived,This pure sativa from two legends international of cannabis give full satisfaction to the lovers of extreme high The plant stretch a lot and an impressive vigor The flowering time is around 18 weeks, the production is very good and fill the long flowering time The flavors are fruity, peach, orange with spicy notes and hazy The high is psychedelic, electric and destabilizing followed by a body stone, an effect well balanced high / stone As you can notice this is not the old version of Coljam but rather the new version. And this "body stone" could be the narcotic influence of the Colombian parent. So yeah this could very well be the backcrossed version and not the original F1 cross.

yesum 161 Report post Posted December 14, 2017 Is this strain any more psychedelic than the Colombian Gold by itself? I am in love with the Colombian Gold '72. Always looking for something more trippy.
