The Lemon Tree Strain

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

I always trust opinions here,so I have something I'm looking for and I'm sure you all can help me out. The lemon Tree Strain which is clone only, but it has been crossed with a few other strains (Chocolate kush for one). Does anyone have any information regarding this??

BQ

UPDATE:

Sorry Guys I worded the original question wrong, trying to be discrete. I know the details and history behind it, I'm toking it right now. I'm looking for a way to get the strain. It's my understanding it throws hermies at the drop of a hat, so bag seed has been possible (none found here yet) and that's what I'm looking for or a good cross.

As Justcozz stated, Lemon Tree is a hybrid cross between Las Vegas Lemon Skunk x Sour Diesel.

The breeder worked the cross for a decade, using a selected, special pheno to work the cross into a strain. Lemon Tree was unveiled at the 2014 HTCC in San Francisco.

This strain is known to consistently test at 22%-25% THC. It has a citrus smell w/diesel undertones and a lasting lemon candy flavor. It's a compact plant w/tight nodes and should be done right around 7 or 8 weeks.

Well, it looks like the place to shop is criags list.

Lemon tree clones $15

Super lemon haze $10

It's a 2 1/2 hour drive, but just might be worth it. And maybe even see the mother. hope they are available in a couple of weeks, won't have time to do the drive until after thanksgiving.

It's kind of funny that you found Lemon Tree clones for $15, when they were being aquired for upwards of $20k per clone just a few years ago. Some are willing to pay huge amounts of money just to get their hands on these genetics.

It reminds me of what the Chemdawg clones went for back in the early 90's... just more expensive.

Only problem with Craig's list, is you don't really know if it's THE true Lemon Tree and most likely not. Anyone can cross a crappy lemon skunk and sour diesel. Doesn't mean it's worth anything. But for $15 a cut, it's definitely worth checking out.

I missed out. Lemon Tree can’t be found anywhere out here now. I’m sure some still have it, but non advertising. I’ll keep my eyes open, there were a few members on here that were interested. My county as well as surrounding counties are not weed friendly, so it’s a 3 hour drive to buy clones. That was the problem before, I was unable to make a trip to the valley before the guy ran out.

200-250 is standard for proven and/or elite cuts here. Definitely some legit lemon tree floating around my area.

I hope your county changes course as legalization plays out.

Not likely. California law leaves it to local jurisdictions to decide whether or not to allow dispensaries and commercial cultivation. So for me to buy legally, I have to drive 3 hours. I can drive an hour and a half to Reno, but bringing anything back across state lines is a no no. Nevada laws are even more restrictive with cultivation. You have to live over 20 miles from a dispensary and have to register with your county sheriffs office to grow.

There are a few dispensaries that sell clones, but hit and miss on what they have available.

California’s recreational law would not have passed without allowing cities and counties to decide for themselves. Many people that voted yes, don’t care if people smoke weed, they just don’t want the commercialization around them. Kind of like pornography, they don’t want shops all over their towns or fields of weed growing everywhere. I’m in a rural area, mostly farms and ranches.

If you get a chance, watch a movie/documentary called “Murder Mountain” I think it’s still on Netflix. Very interesting story on how the grow operations in the Emerald Triangle and Humbodt County got started.

Haha, here are a couple of screen shots of what’s happening in Cali. They started flagging anything “420” “215” and “clones”, so now we search for “clone wars” lmfo

Looks like Lemon Tree could be back..who know if its real or not.
