Oh wow, you weren't lying. What a studly looking guy. Man does he ever look perfect. Did you get to grow it long enough to see if it had any resin/trichs on it? Man, now I want to think about using that stuff. It needs to be the right time. The bx would be a great time, actually. Let's hope it works out.

Now that you've smoked the SJ and the SF, what do you think about the matchup?? Do you see one maybe being more dominant? I still haven't smoked either so I can only live vicariously through others! heh.

The male had a pretty strong smell to him. Mostly pine and lemon peel, it got chopped the first week of flower. It was just over 5 feet tall, thick hollow stalk about an inch and a half thick. A very sturdy plant, it was pretty...I took cuts for the pollen, kept them in a closet at night and took them out every morning for 10-12 hours sun. I collected pollen and they got tossed at the 3rd week after the girls got pregnant.

For me, Sannies Jack can be a bit too racy. Not always, but one too many hits and the “speed” kicks in, and it takes from the enjoyment.  The Silverfields “racy or speedyness” is there, but in a more mellow way, if that makes sense. Hard to say what the JC Haze will be like. One of my original concerns was hitting the Sannies Jack with Silverfields was kind of like doing a back cross and might not end up with anything different or special. And, neither plant was “chosen”, they were what I had. But now that I tried them both, any combination should be good. I need to do a run of just JC Haze. In fact, I think I’ll run about a dozen solo cups and flower from seed. That should give me an idea of what it will offer.

Hope yours is a solid plant that gives you some killer bud. Good luck

Damn likes are all out again... but I still like you all...

My one larger JC Haze stopped all of the early stretching and has now started building lateral branches.. I feel like it's gonna beast out eventually. We'll see.. sometimes when they languish like that for such a long time early, they don't develop out quite the same.. we'll see. I'm hoping that they will explode since they have been on such a roller coaster outside... Today ois going to 80ish and it finally looks like a full week above 70-75 in store for us...

I'm looking for things to really burst out now. I'm planting all sorts of eclectic stuff this summer... gotta just do it... I'll try and update my thread today. I got some pics yesterday inside the flower room and some outside..

I found a seed or three growing on one of my Humboldt Kush x Sugar Punch.. only thing it could be from is a Sunshine Daydream!!! I let it open for a few days on the back porch before I cut it... so it has to be it... that could be good! I wish I had saved that pollen but I had one of those days when I woke up and see all of these males on my back porch and I decided I didn't want a house full of seeded plants this run, and I chopped them all at once. It's just so hard to do for me, lol.    .peace

Yeah, I hear you. I’m thinking of getting another small tent just to put the males in. Bad enough chopping them, but what if we chop that one in a thousand....we will never know.

When I made the SiFi Blaze and JC Haze, I was just chucking pollen for the learning experience, didn’t really think that I would start breeding. Now I’m always thinking what to cross. You all gave me the BUG......I have a long way to go before I’d even consider myself a breeder. Got a lot of strains to grow, and a lot more to learn. But hey, it’s fun and very cool to smoke my own bud.

That's my experience exactly. Last year I remember telling people I could never see myself leaning to the breeding side of things. But after doing one pollen chuck puts the bug in you. Now, it's a big part of my thinking... But, first I'll continue to grow more and learn as I go. I'm convinced that just being able to grow 100 plants at once or even half of that, would teach you so much. I'm working towards that goal. I'd love to be able to look at that many of my Rhino Blood f2s.. I think there is something to find. Every now and then I get a bud that has Chem or lemon, or even slight chocolate nuances.. that tells me there is a pheno/plant hidden in there that will have those same flavors but more pronounced.. You have a couple of good ones to work with already, too. It'll be a hoot trying! Especially since I'm only doing it for my own enjoyment and to spread around to friends. Everything is a win! peace

The clones......

Cartel Haze, rooted and ready for soil.

Silverfields 4 of 6 rooted, had to take cuts after trying some bud, thanks again @Shoeless

NaPali Pink...left 2, rooted great, then went down hill. Next 4 rooted...you here that @JetDro, last 2 will have roots soon. Not sure why the CH and NP are looking so bad. Maybe they were just small cuts and having a rough time getting going.

A girl that's living on my friends land and helping him said out of close to 100 plants the Mohawk x Lemon Fantasy stood out to her more than any other plant... so keep an eye on her! :tu

They look ready to party! Stretching like hell. But, they're about to slow down and build flowers now.

It’s a nice looking plant, can’t wait till the buds start getting big.

Almost all the mini plants got some pollen from the mini male MxLF. I didn’t pull him in time. So I’ll have about a dozen seeds from each plant. May get something killer from them. Who knows.

@bigun did good with the W Va. Mohawk... Pineapple Skunk x C99f5. And from the pics I've seen of the LF females, the cross should make a frosty flower!

Very nice. Good variety too. Can’t wait to see the SiFi Blaze and JC Haze growing side be side. And the Onyx Fire is a super pretty one with all her colors...just like her momma Lemon Bubba from Santero.

Everything seems to be almost on autopilot.  The one RH is a little lighter green than I want. Its probably a ph issue in the soil. I will pull them all and flush them and paint some buds on a few.

Edit....damn, my pics are blurry....WTF....

Now for the tent. Both Napali Pink are doing great. Even showing pistils, I didn't expect to see them in veg, but then I've never grown out a clone before. I'll take some more curs this week. They are almost ready for flower.

Not sure why, but most of my cuts are looking like crap. I didn't take a close up, but you can see them in the pics. What nutes do you guys give them? I've just been giving water and super thrive. Maybe I should give them a light dose of food???

And this little girl testing out the mini grow cup. Got roots starting to extend from the basket....my water level may be a bit low, she is starting to look hungry, I will add a few oz of food.

Almost forgot....Silverfields is trying to stand out....I used the flash to capture all her beauty. Only 2 weeks in and building nice colas. She stretched, but nice tight nodes for a spiral of buds

Yeah, looks like a room full of fun! Boy, that W. Va. Mohawk x Lemon Fantasy is standing out to me. I like the way it's shaping up. I should pop some.. I have a friend growing it up in the mountains. He's running 20 of the RB f2s for me, too. That could show us some stuff. I was smoking out of the bottom of the jar of the RB #3 pheno... I smoked it all up first, and never keyed in on it, but it's a Green Manalishi dom.. much greener weed, still, where the others turn a heavy reddish/gold color. It tasted like GM. I can't believe I didn't save any. But, I knew there would be some GM leaning phenos, and that's what I'm looking for. You're gonna fill some jars with that many RB.. It's a heavy yielder with dense buds. Hope you find some new phenos!

The NPs are really showing some personality finally. They look spectacular!

I'm hoping I get to chp a few of my NAW plants today... I want them in my lungs! I'm selfish that way! :icecream:
