Growing Just Cozz

Back home again after a few days, went into the room.....damn it.....the timer must be failing. It’s still set for 6 hours of dark, but all the plants are in full bloom. Both my HKxSP are full of balls, they got tossed into the shop... almost every other plant is throwing pistils. Only 2 are not showing sex. 

Ive had timers fail before, but they either stay on or stay off. This timer seems to be working and the power outages shouldn’t be enough to start flower. But full blown flower means the plants are not getting light..going’s to the store today to buy a couple more timers. Still have some more transplanting to do. This is going to go down as the Cozz’s worst grow.

I had my timer slip a bit at a time, until they were only getting 11 hours dark, instead of 12. They would not flower out, had tiny buds. Finally figured out the timer had slipped, I think it took like 13 weeks or more to finish those off.

That's my biggest worry about having my grow downstairs out of sight. I came in the first morning after I got the panda film hung and it was still dark. It tripped the breaker on the power strip outlet. I have a 1000w and a 600w on the same outlet. But, since then allis good. I've forgotten to turn the regular overhead lights out but I guess that doesn't hurt now. I have to make sure once I flip them to check before I leave. I still have to figure an efficient way to get some heat into the space. So far I can't get above 72º.

Need any more beans to play with? Not tested yet but I have some interesting crosses from the last run. Should give good smoke regardless. Dads would be JC Haze on some and Rhino Blood on the later part of the run. Lots of good moms. Sorry to hear about the loss bro. As easy as it is to grow weed, so many things can go wrong. Hit me up.

Are you well insulated Mr G? Can you direct a duct from house heat in there? I wonder if they make portable steam heat units. Is your humidity OK? I had a home one time that was steam heated, my house plants grew like monsters lol

It's not insulated very well if any. It does have plaster walls so once I get the wood stove going for a good day or two, it'll hold the heat in for a long time. It's when the wind blows that I get problems because it's not airtight. The house is 125 yo and they raised the house and dug out the basement. It has 9 foot concrete walls now and the hose is still just at ground level. 

The people who did it were terrible. So, I have a lot to do to tighten things up. I have some problems around the base of the house and have to do work there to seal it up. They left some things unfinished when they ran out of money to finish the job. The homeowner just let them leave. 

The temp downstairs stays stable but I have a hard time getting it to stay warm. No duct work in my house. They used to have heated water radiator floor heaters but disconnected it all and put these crappy electric wall units that heat bricks slowly all day and blows air off of them when needed. It was a bad move for this house. The humidity is better down there than upstairs. It's been around 40- 50% which is good for here. But I think some of that is from my hot water heater starting to leak... 

Maybe one day soon I can look back at now and laugh.

Oh boy, half my house needs updated, I feel the pain. I would buy some sort of insulation for now, wrap with plastic, might help.

Well, quick update. Looks like I have them doing better. Still have a ways to go for them to be growing proper, but they are finally going in the right direction.

No octopots yet this run.. With the weather, lighting problems and power going out, just figured I’d finish this run in regular pots. Maybe I will put one of the goji into an OctoPot into the tent for a scrog.

What’s up everyone. I’ve been busy and away from home since early December. Still gone and hopefully make it back by the middle of next month. 
we had more power outages and freezing weather .... lost the whole grow...

Finally got my iPad so I should be able to check in and say hi a little more often. Got to go through the threads and see what all I’ve been missing out on. Hope all has been well for everyone.
