Do you cut Fox farm happy frog mix?

Recommended Posts

I'm leaning towards the 54 quart bag, should almost fill 3

5 gallon buckets.

I'm going with tiger bloom, as autos I'm told don't need N in good soul, or rather very much of it.

Do I need to cut my happy frog with perlite or something?

Hi toker I am using happy frog myself and I added extra perlite and bone meal and blood meal and batand sea bird grauno also azomite I don’t use much of all of these additives

i am using 3 gallon fabric bags and I only add 3 handfuls of perlite

2 1/2 tablespoons of both bone and blood meal the grauno more like 6 tablespoons and 2 tablespoons of azomite per plant

so far so good they seem to love it

peace

Another question plz.

I read FF has beneficial bacteria so do I need to add

A bacto like product.

I'm  seeing I need to add nutes

As the plant will drain soil

I plan on tiger bloom

Anything else?

I may pull trigger a few weeks later lol

The shopping bill is adding up

And I'm seriously considering

Getting that CMH .

Wanna do this grow by the numbers.

Any advise is welcome

I noticed one thing, Fox farm is "Hot" to

I can see a very little note burn on tips of leaves on my widow

In flower.

No added nutes, just Happy frog.

Not bad, plants gorgus still.

I've never used Fox Farms because so many people complain of that, and is that the one that can also build up salt?

Always nice when the ladies are doing well.

My autos seem to like it.

Perhaps my eyes are wrong

Most folks never see it but the GG auto seems not to like it as much as the CC

We see, maybe it's parranoid

Recaction.

I'm going to start a MG vs FoxFarm thread.

I've hear some people will fill the bottom of their pots with it uncut. Then fill the top half with a cut mix. That way the plants roots will reach the hotter mix as the plant mature and want the extra nutes. Never tried it myself, just stuff I've read on other sites.

If your not going to make your own soil then Roots Organic original is hands down the best bag soil out there, you can use it from seed to flower, will not burn and is the most consistent and stable mix in the market. I gave up on Fox Farms years ago, it's inconsistent and can burn young plants. IMHO

I'm not anytime soon, since I found a place close that sells

FF products.

I did the math , by the time I spend everything to make my soil it be more than 15.99

For 2 CF, and I still have to add

Bennificial organisims etc.

It's not a big deal, the plants look really good so far..

Fingers crossed.

The top pic is a auto in FF

The bottom a photo in MG/vermiculite/eggshells

Both are 18 days old.

The photo spends most of it's time under a LED, but I do keep it under T5 to.
