Ya got a picture of that much loved brush? I have been using a makeup brush the missus gave me. If there's a better tool I'm all in.

i use a makeup brush and chose that over the arts and craft/art brushes. shit is nit getting away from this these brushes too easy. synthetic not animal hair that is more clingy supposedly.

thought I posted these here but guess not . Oops. Big one is the sweeper other two for pollen application only.

Here’s today’s collection from yesterday’s haul. baked n oven additional 20 min @approx 175deg and maybe 30 minutes on first bake. Leftover is stored kitchen closet but will move to the basement. Sure I have more flour but this is prepped .

Now, that i have experienced today, collection is a piece of cake.  i will attempt the other method by cutting off the flowers and let them dry to then collect pollen to compare pollen quality to my initial method. now, it's whether or not the freezing works. i will try to make 3 paper bindles and test one in the future this year most likely.

So, we had next to last collection today. Missed watering them but hey they still did their jobs despite my slacking a bit.

glass jar and vial both mixed w/flour are in the freezer now ! So 3 samples of the same male. 1st the P1 male and then both his clones used for this pollen run. His last clone is in veg indefinitely and I imagine it will be cloned to get two replacements just because I can. I can always toss them if need be.

notice the high tech vial holder and pollen catcher. Ha Yes, i see the tiny adulterants and a hair or two. i just made sure no pollen sacs were in there to ruin the pollen. anything else get's stored as is.

so, the Big League Grape testers are coming along and just started to sprout secondary branches slowly.

no more black pot comfort as they all needed more room. To stretch out horizontally. Still Under a 250 mh and they were fed tonight until some run off occurred.

group shots. Turned the cardboard box over and added wood plank fir more stability. They won’t be there much longer.

Tent extension kit arrived today so weekend tent set up scheduled. .

by the time the gurlz are in the tent pollen collection will be over in that small closet and those walls wiped down w/simple green + no bleach smell but still clean and able to kill pollen.

So, collection today and decided to do another tomorrow and call it done.  Will put remaining pods into a container and see what I get.

 1st  Real Collection is a success !
Simple foil with a 44deg bend for easy sliding access for the pollen.
making the collection foil taller is more beneficial to collect more.

tooth gum tool allows easy adulterant removal if u choose to do so. A steady hand and the barest saliva to collect tiny adulterants .

Well, all things come and go. And some things arrive and make a much  needed impact. MOs def.
this gear has been sitting for 3/4 years  min, waiting to be used.

hell I even have a brand new radiant ac reflector I technically don’t need. Yet, will hold onto it because no use selling and then regretting it.

Gorilla makes good tents. I recently got a 4 x 4, but haven't set it up yet. I have to do a few minor things — like getting a light for it.

I've had my 3 x 3 for about 6 months. Nicer than the other two tents I have.

if ur not in a hurry just buy the light once u get stimulated like i did. that would have took awhile to save up for on my budget.

light hangers are on the way and extension kit is already in the room at the ready as well. newest video showed a dude set it up by himself. was pretty straight forward and i don't plan to deviate except for space maneuvering. i didn't factor that in in the set up. i only paid attention to the space it would take up when done. this dude is basically doing the same set up as me but using their companies hydro system in it. i think their system is pretty good actually.  the dude in the video is super cool and i'd puff with him any day frfr.

Yeah Gary is good dude, his crew is also  building some very excellent quality  hydro systems there also.

Takes 20 minutes to set up a 4 x 4 x 6'11" Gorlilla Lite tent, and about the same to tear it back down, to use later on. love them!

The 4' x 8' x 7' hydropharm (actual width and length are larger than the stated tent dimensions, but not taller) was a bear to erect alone.....with a few inches at the bottom of the rafters, to wrestle the top over the frame.

I'll be cutting up that one in a month or so. Might save the frame to see if it can be of some use out in the garden, before I take to the salvage yard.

Damn I wish I knew you needed yo-yo's I got a whole bunch of them in a box, 1/4 rope and larger. I used them on and off over the years, but I find them a bit clunky to use. And once I found quality LED's, I had absolutely no reason to yo-yo.

so, what do you use to hang your lights and equipment in a tent ?use the frame for a green house for food in ur yard or a light dep weed green house. damn i wish i had room to run a 4 x 8 x 7 = 2lbs pull default. = 3 times a year would really help with surplus stash to bury . ideally i want two 5lb stashes for the apocalypse or financial recoup if needed. stoner dreams lol.

Update : no pollen from the saved sacs/flowers so i won't do that again. not worth the trouble/time. i maxed out collection to coincide with flowers opening and will just repeat in the future. 4 separate collections 1 small glass jar and 3 plastic vials. all mixed with baked flour = ratio 3 or 4 to 1 approx. flour to pollen. now if i get beans then i will know my storage method works. because it's frozen it will take some time and circumstances to fully assess success of this method for me.

the tent has turned out to be a big PITA like u wouldn't believe. 1st off the height i originally used should have worked but the ceiling wasn't made level. so had to deconstruct the frame and remove the the 8" poles. then reconnected the 2 foot extension poles. the tent you see in the video is not like my tent aside from the 4 x 4 foot print. My tent has no fucking back door grr, i was like where is my back door. my tent has no bottom connection zipper to the floor section. so releasing that part isn't possible to help make the zipper of the extension skirt attach to the tent major.

i thought i had the top on backwards because once i went to zip up the whole skirt and looked at it. i was like wait a minute i won't have a way to easily get in the tent. so i thought i fucked up. turns out i then took the fucking roof of the mother fucker and reversed it. only to now realize i did that shit for nothing. but why ??? 1. the shorty tent has no back door 2. has no lower zipper 3. hasn't got a way to just walk into the tent by the door . you have to bend down even though the inside tent is now approx. 6'11".  because of that i felt like the zipper skirt assembly i some how screwed up. yet in reality i had done it correctly the first time. watch the video of a different tent design on the initial set up had me scratching my head. btw my tent is not the lite version lol.

i took a break and thought i was almost done but know the above occurred. now going to to redo what i undid and try to zip that bitch up even though i flat couldn't do it when i tried. it was like it was just a little too short to reach. grrrr  time spent using a real ladder inside the tent and a little outside was over an hour easily. my back, hip and legs hurt from the effort frfr.

pics when I thought it was going to be easy lol.

Finally done. I had a bit of help stop by. He thought and said exactly as I did about how the set up seemed like it was wrong in terms of the doorway looking like the top part of the extension skirt should go in the front to make the door entrance taller.

I explained I thought the same and reversed the roof as well as redo the extension skirt too.

Hangers for lights and the rest is in route. Then the led =  bka the Kraken will be released finally. I have a strap for hanging gear I bought vans one was included with the tent. So, 5 pair of hangers will be all I need.

DAMN, how harsh SPW. I never tangled with an extension...so Thank You for your information. Those insights will be filed away in my tent set up file.

In the top, of the tent, I use one of the 2 slide in supports,  I put the support tube through the 4 wire hangers on the LED, then reinstall the support/LED. Set n forget.

You know SPW this info really helps some folks I've been talking with that have very low ceiling height and I've been trying to figure out how to use an extension in that environment. Now I know to 86 that idea right now!! So you saved me a ton of time. Thanks man. Sorry you had such a bitch of a time with it.

The pita is done

tedis the roof and extension skirt to how it was. It’s a outa to bend over to go in the tent. Each time I’m thinking why would this be designed like this.
original height is 4’11” = 5 ft basically so I get you have to bend down. Yet, a height extension is included by design. So, why wasn’t there he idea to make access to the front door in Clyde zippers that allow  opening in the middle. Simple enough to do.
why design the shit so that a middle zipper is on the back of the tent as if it was done by accident and somebody said duck it let’s get this out there.
if I find out later iMm wrong I’ll be happy to change it. I watched a Shorty specific video and it sure seems like my set up is on point.

so, they will live the added heat in the root zone and so should the roots which aren’t looking too shabby. All roots are coming out the bottom of the cups looking for water. I dump the old runoff and allow for the new in the cup reservoirs.

I’m not used to keeping plants in cups like this but knew I needed 32oz cups min. One is in a 44 oz cup though m. Based on how they look now I hope the hangers cine soon. I rather not rig the led with oily rope that isn’t easily adjustable m. If I have to I will though y’all know me .

I will get plant measurements tomorrow and note individual characteristics by plant number. i left the ballast inside because i would have to unscrew the socket fixture which ain't meant to be removed. since the LED should take over fuk it with a smile lol. reservoir cups means i don't need trays in even though i washed some out. just as i put the 1st one in i was like wtf are you doing they are in cup holders lol. another smile and non do moment.

@webeblzr I wrote and did this post before reading urs cause it was easier to keep in motion . yeah, dude i just try to keep it real. folks without back issues won't have a problem imho. but their isn't going to be a lot of space in their to maneuver once flower size pots are in there but it will be manageable obviously. no back door on my model is a pita but i will make it work.

big issue now is decided who/how to prune based on internode length of a couple i need to flip now frfr but that would make the others more of a pita to manage. i'll look real hard at them tomorrow to get a better handle on what i decide to do. top, fim, leave alone and of course height is an issue i need 2 feet distance between tops in flower supposedly. i'm thinking of trying to mainline at least one plant when i take clones from the BLG never done it before and i like the idea as well as the height considerations that are conducive to lower ceiling heights.

i need to re-screw in screws for my fan cause i wanted to tear down to clean it up good inside. those fuckers made to so that every other screws don't come out like  the one next to it does easily. seems like a different size. it will be on the job tomorrow as well. i'll use a tooth brush to get what i can and vacuum up the loose stuff.

also will cut some more dryer sheets cause i saw a flyer in the basement yesterday. 1st one grr. fuk it's clear they do not like those dryer sheets and i have plenty of them too. got a dedicated garden stuff container in the room and they are right there waiting to go into action tomorrow.

Yeah man, I was not seeing/paying attention  this design glitch for a place that has low ceilings. The dude keeps asking if he should get the shorty, but man after your hassle, IDK. He claims to have skills in basic wood working, so after reading your trials and tribulations with a shorty and extension, I told him some places are way better to build to suite an area, then to jam a tent in there and not have easy access. A bundle of 1" x 1" x 8' and a bundle of 2" x 2" x 8' a sheet of foam, some Panda and game on.

You'll laugh about this when your inbox is filled with bean beggar requests, and your rolling in both kinds of green!! Best to ya!

Clean the fan as best I could and I can actually buy makeup brushes to do a better job and dust off the flan blades. Vacuum was used to suck up any dust drifters.

I’m sure they are enjoying the better environment and slightly more light because of reflection in the tent. Still more to do I’ll be back

I have already thought to transplant 3 into biobizz lite final container. Let those roots get comfy to help bud sites/secondary branches established. Biggest ones will go in biobizz-lite to slow then down . The other 3 will go in coco to speed them up .

So, let’s get ready to picture things getting better a bit quicker than expected.

Thankfully I can clone these and make a run with valuable info based on which phenos are worthy or not. Frankly I’d love to have the problem of which is best because they all end up the bomb.

clones are the next thing for a couple/all of these girls. Size difference and king intermodal length is an issue. It’s been noticed all day by other testers so it’s not just my plants with that long internode distance characteristic. I wasn’t surprised but all aren’t the same in that regard some have shorter distance.

He has room for a regular tent which include a rear access door unlike the shorty. I would tell him to buy. Regular 5x5 not the 4x4! tent and don’t look back.?
6’11” without using the include extension !

Mixed in DE just now Biobizz-lite will transplant a couple tomorrow. And pull out the coco from the basement. Need to Oder a ph test kit. I’m done trying to find a normal meter that’s legit smdh. Same bs ass shoddy products galore.
I will buy another ec/ppm dipstick if I can’t find mine. I’ll just go by directions for feeding as a guideline.
