How do I delete my old Gallery Folders?

How do I delete some, not all, of my old Gallery Folders?

I don't think you can or that is the way it use to be.  They wouldn't even delete mine when I got busted.

That has been a few years back...I was just saying they wouldn't delete any picture for any reason.  Once you post them, they are there forever.  They might delete one if it is bad or hurtful but you get the point.

i had a security scare few years back and erased most of my pics.
i have been posting many of those back since then, but some of those
empty folders are still left, lol.

basically it's your own job to erase whatever you want again, it's just a bit
of a PIA, cuz it's not possible to erase whole folders, only single pictures.

you can delete pics one by one, but whole albums can't get erased, i fear.

How do you delete a single picture?  I was told by Sannie no pictures can be deleted.  If they are posted in a thread, they will be deleted there also.

of course the pix in the threads will be gone as well,when deleteing these pix in the Gallery! i think,that´s why it´s that hard /or impossible to delete pix. all the threads would look shitty without pix...most notably the Budporn- thread

Yep, that´s the reason. 

But security is more important to me than a stylish thread.

my job as a mod is to help people with exactly these kind of problems
the info is not a secret. one can only delete pictures one by one, though, afaik.

go to the gallery of question and check the box (right upper corner of the pics).
the menu that appears on the lower screen side showes a bin-sign ... and then
you proceed from there ... it takes a bit of time, but is the only way that i know.

So I was poking at this too.  @santero, as a mod may have a different interface then we plebs.  I remember the site before the upgrade working something like this too but not in a while. Once I open the picture all I have access to is an “image tools” drop down button on the bottom right.  But the tools are set as profile photo and download, no delete 

I have looked at this on my desktop as well with the same result

I hacked before the upgrade, and there used to be a way to do it through the back door, but I do believe they shut that down with the upgrade.

The threads I took out pics look dumb as dumb lol they have img numbers with no pics. Think this is a, well it is what it is, and we can not delete. But as I say the threads I did that in, now looked messed up, maybe why they do this?

there was no "backdoor way" of deleting pics on the old layout.
it was the OFFICIAL way (but that always was a bit confusing,
not "hidden", tho )

you guys try it from the direct pic, but you need to
do that from the album menu. please check here:

Hey San,

that does look like its Only for you mods. I do not have any white box in the top corner of my gallery pics. At least not on mobile, I’ll check my desktop later but I think I would have found that.

Here is a tip for everyone. If you are now or think  you may be in the future worried about security because you post pics, don’t.  It doesn’t matter if you delete your exif info,  it doesn’t matter if you think there is nothing identifiable in the pic.  Even if you were to delete a pic you uploaded here, it could be archived by a crawler, downloaded by someone else and re-uploaded to another site, recovered from an isp backup etc. Once  something is on the net you have given up control, and it can almost always be traced back to you.

yeah, it seems like there is really no way for normal members in the new layout
the old (complicated, but not hidden) way was not implemented in the new layout.

sorry for everyone that feels like needing to erase pictures, but mainly what DB said is valid.

there is no safe internet, if you posted it then you gave away security back then. that's why
many people don't post much (me included). when living in conditions that get you arrested
for the grows then it's best to not show much of that, imho.
