Hamme Hydro 4,837 Report post Posted September 28, 2020 Thanks a lot Pops! I always enjoy your comments on them too! The third day of flowering. Not much action yet, but i took a picture anyway.
Hamme Hydro 4,837 Report post Posted October 4, 2020 The ninth day of flowering. I watered the plants severely the day before yesterday because they needed it, i don't want to spoil them just yet. The led-light is kept as close as possible, 10-15 cm from the canopy. Look how thick the branches are. Climate is in check, but the humidity is higher then desirable. But that's probably the weather. I even turned on a heater, but i can't get it any lower. Since the plants are still stocky i don't complain! Peace!
Hamme Hydro 4,837 Report post Posted October 4, 2020 This is how they looked during my previous grow under hps at day nine or ten of flowering. Note the branches are thinner.
Hamme Hydro 4,837 Report post Posted October 4, 2020 And this is how they looked a few minutes ago with the led-light on. And the humidity decreased a little with the lights on! See you next week!

Hamme Hydro 4,837 Report post Posted October 15, 2020 Thanks Saxo! The twentieth day of flowering. I took the pictures right before the light went on so you can see their true colors. Not a single red stem! Something i've never seen with my hps grows! 6
Misterdirt 11,962 Report post Posted October 16, 2020 That's interesting. Why do stems turn red, in the first place? It seems to be genetic for some strains.
Hamme Hydro 4,837 Report post Posted October 16, 2020 Apparently it's not merely genetics, since i grew this strain many times under hps with red stems. But truth be told, in veg they did have red stems also with led.
Hamme Hydro 4,837 Report post Posted October 24, 2020 Today it's the twenty-ninth day of flowering. The grow peak is done and the ladies are drinking like mad. Every other or third watering they get clear water (pH 5.8) without nutriment. The rest of the time they get Floranova bloom (Ec 1.2). Here come the pictures! And that's all folks! 7
Hamme Hydro 4,837 Report post Posted October 31, 2020 The thirty-sixth day of flowering has commenced. Nothing much to mention besides that i am very happy with the way this grow goes. So here come the pictures. And that's it for now, see you next week! 8

hidronesia 2,810 Report post Posted November 5, 2020 HEY Hamme, this grow looks promising. maybe you wrote about your led DIY project? I had watering, humidity and rot problems under led... but I have lot of red purple color in it.. so I guess too fast resin making made earlier rot. do your plants drink less under led also?

Thank you Hidronesia! Thus far i couldn't be happier with how this grow goes. The leds i use are 3rd gen strips from the Samsung f-series. The plants drink twice as much as with hps in my grow. What's very important is how close you have the led to the canopy. If it's not close enough then the plants receive half or even less of the lumen the light produces. But i don't have enough knowledge of the specs to inform you thoroughly on this matter. Look for Wietefras at RIU, my lamps are build according to his calculations.

Hamme Hydro 4,837 Report post Posted November 25, 2020 The 61th day of flowering. Since the plants started collapsing and seemed ready i harvested the first ten today. Zero mold, rock hard nuggets and almost no fluff. Two more plants to go tomorrow. The next twelve Amnesia Haze cuts are ready to go and since i plan on doing everything the same and there is not much interest, i won't keep a journal anymore. When the harvest is dry i will post the results in my final update and then i'm done. They say you're only as large as your last hit and this could very well be my biggest yet!
