I supposed I'd have to say hello here b4 posting again.

Yes it's been ten years, and life hasn't always been kind. But now that things are going much easier for me, I thought it would be great to grow again.

Don't know yet if I'll find new and interresting people here or if some old fellows are still there ? Time will tell.

But after all that time, I'll have to learn lots of things again, to begin with leds as I think everybody use them now instead of the old HPS/MH couple I used to have.

Oh and also, I still have loads of old seeds (around one thousand from 50 different varieties) but don't know if they're still viable. Tried to sprout some Heri last week with no success..

Does anybody knows if my long time fav Vanilla Sky is still around ?

aloha i don't recall u but 10 yrs is too much for me usually. welcome back and don't give up on ur old beans. i'm not going to give up on mine.  i've got some heri too in the vault hoping they germ. i will get some fresher heri though but so much depends on what blast from the past will germ and be worth keeping.

hlg is leading led's so far as the boards because they got in first with stuff that works.  but i'd go https://www.budgetgrowlights.com/ 

plenty other cob options ready made or diy. have fun growing again. i just got off an 11 yr hiatus too.

testing some bud 1st. time now. most hermed and were tiny = light leak my fault but the weed is good. bigger plants flowering now like normal chop end july i expect. i'm sure you will be just as happy as you get close to ur first harvest again. a cheap grow still makes quality buds dude. welcome back

Thanks everybody, it's so pleasant to recall some of you. Don't expect bud porn b4 a few months as I'm in a shroom period for now.
Oh and SPW thanks a lot for the tip on leds, I'll have a look even if I know I'll have to spend lot of time to understand how leds works b4 buying one (don't even kwow if I should go for cobs or boards..)

understanding them will be a short learning curve imho no matter which ones you choose. some folks use both in various applications. i've looked at the boards because of convenience mainly. but still need to pay more attention to cobs but they seem like more of a hassle to set up etc. imho. i'm looking for kiss always keep it simple stupid .
