C99, berry patch, cheese, critical & motherlode kush

Time to share. 
 

I’ve been dealing with a lot of bugs lately and my grows have been fucking shit. I didnt even wanted to see the plants. Just open to water when I remember, damage control, remove dead ones, replace sticky traps, move on. 
I mean, I’m the kind of person that opens the tent a million times just to watchem. I’ve tried everything (neem, soap, nematodes...) I was able to get rid of them but they came back after a week to fill the tent in a few days... fucking nightmare. I was growing to smoke, not enjoying the growing part anymore.

suddenly that changed, and all that took was to put a layer of freaking sand on top! I could fill 3 sticky traps in a couple days front and back and now in 2 months theres only one sad flyer...

I’m so fuckin relieved, so happy to be able to enjoy the growing. My planta are so beautiful and healthy and green (compared to before).

well sorry for the ranting.

the grow is soil, organic with slow release nutes. Water only.

genetics are: (left to right, up to down)

5x c99 kwik seeds

1x berry patch (Just one cause I was replacing a c99 that didnt make it)

cheese and critical (they got mixed up I dont know which one is which)

1x motherlode kush

 

except for the MK, the regulars are outgrowing the fems by much. Last row are  all fems. One c99 I think got poisoned she seems to be recovering.

Quick update:

4/5 c99s are female! The only male is the first one (top left). If the retarded one doesnt apply herself she is out, dont want the chance of hermis.

the berry patch is smelling really hard (sweet leather, choco, idk but loud), but I’m getting big balls energy hahaha hope I’m wrong. 
 

the fems are going well, MK untopped thicc stems. Cheese and critical topped, very close internodal spacing.

the fucking beast is the 3rd one (top right), I thought all this time she was gonna be a male, she is gorgeous and huge! I’m bending her like a B.

still no bugs. But cold is coming hard here.

Berry patch is showing something that looks like balls but I refuse to believe it xD

I’ll keep it until flip to be really sure but sadly it looks male. (Since I got 2 freebees packs from 2 purchases I’ll grow it again nonworries)

comercial fems are going slow but fine, motherlode kush is killing it and the c99s are showing some diversity and also killing it!

I wanted to get them really big since I dont have bugs this run but I didnt put so much dirt in the pots... maybe I’ll flip these soon and prepare next run for monsters.

thats a c99 male, the Berry Patch is not so clear yet. And I have plenty of seeds for a full run (which I’ll do soon). The best and loudest smelling plant in veg from this run (and probably all runs xD).

I’m running out of space xD 

good thing is I’m moving and I’ll could use a whole room for the girls soon. No fucking tent

Hey guys! Happy holidays!

quick update with no pics (sorry).

they on flower now.

finally berry patch developed huge balls (was hoping for those plants that develop extra branches in each node but nope, big balls)

c99s got so big so fast that they are showing defs. I foliar sprayed them and will be watering with nutes since there is no bugs and there is no much time to go (50 days they say...). They getting greener so I think thats all.

fems are getting bigger now (catching up or even surpassing the regs) and are green and healthy.

First time with these pots and also only water cause the bugs and the top layer of sand so yeah I’m adjusting but I think is under control.

c99s seem to be recovering some green afer foliar and watering feedings...

I’ve also dig the sand to put some more pellets of solid nutrients.

cold is hittin hard.

They are going a bit slower than they should.

But they are fine and stinking!

Update time:

cold has hit hard. (Specially on the ones with deficiencies).

The sand has made difficult to feed them so almost no flower nutes. Last nutes where the ones I talked on the other post.

fems are good and the c99s could be worse...

They are starting to fatten up (week 6) and all of them are fast strains... so things are going slow. 
Resin levels are really good amd smells are delicious (hash honey fruit on the fems, citrus heaven on the c99s)

They are having a second fattening now xD. Maybe the slow release nutes are kicking in now.. too bad cause they are almost done.. 

What seems to be the critical + is getting cloudy. The rest I think are up for one more week. The MK maybe even more.

I harvested everyone. They curing now but they arent dry yet. I mean they still drying but slowly and in jars xDD. As soon as they are smokeable I’ll post something.

C99s still smell like citrus heaven.

C+ smells fruity but very sweet/honey afghan/hashy

Cheese smells very hashy with a subtle background of “cheese strain”.

mk is the most complex for me. Overall I’d say fruity, on the fresh fruit side.

Ok guys sorry for the wait...

I’ve tried freezer curing the buds so it has taken a bit longer to be able to try them.

I just put them out and they are not finish but they get crunchy in a day or so at room temp. They are green as fresh cut but they are dry.. is strange but so far I like it cause they havent lost the smell.

the c99s:

there are 2 mostly green that smell like tangerine and grapefruit (each one, like its no complex citrus is one or the other)

and one mostly purple that smells like fucking yogurt and blueberries or something like that

I smoked them all together and the creamy taste from the purple one was very noticeable, the rest I can only say fruity on the citrus side 

the high was fkn fast and to the head and eyes, talkative, functional (maybe not very functional the first half hour) and lasted 4h but the last 3h was mild. Like you know you are high, you forget how you got to places but you are perfectly functional.

critical and cheese:

the critical was very funky when cut but now is like a little animal has died in a big bag of fruit. I mean, smells like fruit but you now something is down there rotting xDD

cheese is fkn pungent like you ate all the fruit and found the rotten animal hahahah fucking delicious tho

again I smoked them together, and this I dont remember man... I got wasted... tasty... they also hit very fast and man, I cant say nothing more. These 2 finished better than the c99 cause the deficiencies and that.. more weight, more resin...

the MK I harvested her with thrichs mostly clear, she even thew balls Cause I forgot her in the dark for like a whole week xD she was really promising but I fucked up at the end and this one suffered the most.

havent tried her yet, she is developing some licorice, anis kind of smell. Im curious.

Ok guys so this is it, I gotta say I was fucking desperate with bugs and I didnt had any hopes for this. Finally it turned out ok, low yield, times of harvest way out but the weed is good. It just needed some more dirt and some guano in flower. The bag appeal is just my lazy ass xD the look good, but you know, they had a lot of resin and I wasnt feeling making some hash or something.

Ok so lets go with some smoke reports:

 

C99 most purple pheno:

smell: smells like some kind of blue, tropical, chemical milkshake. Very creamy and blueberry, reminds me of some bluecheese but more citrus, less pungent, more creamy. 

taste: tastes less cream and more citrus, still noticeable the blueberry, mango, tropical thing..

high: head, behind the eyes, not body stoned but my muscles get relaxed somehow. very red eyes, talkative, lose track of thought, functional, social, uplifting. maayyybe a bit of paranoia but could be me.. I've been clean for the holydays and I'm with low tolerance right now. Long lasting (4-5h). Good potency but the peak just holds for 30 min or so.

Cheese:

smell: It doesnt smell like the sweet floral, somehow fruity rotten I like. smells pungent. It's not exactly cheese but I dont know how to describe it. A little bit fruity in the background. 

taste: a little bit more fruity than it smells. dry and toasted. more fruity on the exhale.

high: very cloudy on the head. A lot more body relaxation. no couchlock at all. type of weed you dont know if you locked the door or if you had a cat. dry mouth

Critical:

smell: fucking burnt rubber, really pungent, fruity

taste: lots of fruits, very vey fruity. the burnt rubber comes in the aftertaste

high: very stoned. happy. silly. smiley.

 

c99 greener phenos:

smell: fresh cut citrus, sweet, citrus, citrus, citrus

taste: citrus heaven

high: I dont know if either less clear or more potent than the purple one. But more or less the same
