New Press

Recommended Posts

I have the large suasage press but I'm making smaller more boutique batches, lot easier to try things.

So found this little press that's a lot less trouble for my hands.

I was able to crank it down and squish it good without breaking the thing so that's something.

Actually worked really good and pretty easy clean up.

My counter top is just pine boards so after making oil I applied NewCanna Cabinet Refinisher and it looks better, boards get thirsty.

This is a 3 day instaPot batch. Screen liner might be good upgrade.

I am hard on presses, I broke two of those types, by cranking too hard, I even bought an antique sausage press and my guy bent it too lol. We finally bought a hydraulic one. Stuff sure grabs ahold of a ton of liquid and won't' let go.

I came up with this to press my infused glycerin. Cheese cloth works well as a filter medium.
